Great room for a couple, views were spectacular, and area easily accessible through public transit although be aware of when transit stops running. Since it’s a smaller town, stores are not open late except one, and room did not have refrigerator so unable to purchase any food to be kept for a later time. Also they do not provide shampoo or conditioner, and room does not have air conditioning although that was not an issue for us since it was rather cold most of the time.

Lovely staff and lovely lodging. Clean! A short walk to the Oeschinensee cable car but away from the train hustle and bustle. Pro tip: Was surprised to find an elevator and even more surprised to find the restaurant is so well rated. Make sure you plan a night for dinner, best meal we had our entire trip in Switzerlans. Chef is amazing!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à l'hôtel Blümlisalp à Kandersteg. La situation de l'hôtel est idéale pour explorer la région. La chambre, bien que simple, était propre, confortable et disposait de tout le nécessaire.

This by far was my favorite placed we stayed in Switzerland. Kandersteg is a gorgeous town and the hotel was so cute. We had the best view from our room. The room was very spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and the breakfast buffet was delicious and had lots of options. I cannot say enough positive things about this location. Absolutely loved it!
