Wonderful riverfront hotel! Nice size room with a kitchenette. Comfortable and clean. Hotel offers lighted decks to sit on and enjoy views of the river. Right next door is a great restaurant where we were able to dine outside on a deck to enjoy the view of the river. Fantastic experience!

Clean and spacious room in the quaint river town of Shady Cove. This room was perfect for a one-eighty stay for our family of four visiting Crater Lake National Park. We especially enjoyed sitting on the porch that overlooked the river with a bottle of local wine. The staff was very nice, the beds were comfortable, and the motel was close to a good grocery store and a wonderful coffee shop.

We loved this adorable, quaint little place. The facilities looked like it had recently been remodeled. New paint on outside, and inside was nice and neat.We loved the extra bedroom in our room for our daughter. Beautiful landscaping and a deck to enjoy the river during our stay. We would definitely return if ever in this area again.

Sitting on the balcony at the back of the property overlooking the Rogue River sipping wine (BYO) after a long drive was awesome. Highly recommend this motel.

Beautiful property with a deck that overlooks the river. Saw some deer and ducks down there in the evening just chilling. Check in was amazing and super helpful in picking out where I should go for dinner and even gave me a few extra things to check out on my way up to Crater Lake the next day. Overall this place is just awesome!!!

Love, love, love Shady Cove and its residents! One of the best little towns I have had the opportunity to stay in. Great location to Crater Lake. The patio that overlooks the Rogue River was amazing!! We will definitely come back.

We were not sure what to expect here. We were very happy with our stay. The check in was incredibly easy, parking by our room was very convenient and the room was very cozy and clean. The property had several walkable dining & beverage options. They also have a beautiful deck overlook of the river to relax. It was 102 degrees the day we stayed (even in the shade) so we didn’t use the deck as we otherwise might have. We used the motel for a jumping off point to visit Crater Lake NP the following day, which worked very well. But we would definitely consider spending more time at this property in the future. For the price, Riverfront Lodging is a little gem!

The room appears clean but I had splashed some water on the floor and so I put a towel down to mop it up and my foot left a black impression mark. I looked at the bottom of my foot and they were literally black.

The good thing is the location.It's only one hour to the Crater lake national park. The lodge is close to the river. The not so great thing is the lodge is just off the No.62 way, so it's a bit noisy. I booked the hotel one month ago, also I was almost the 1st person to check in that day and asked the staff to give me a room not so close to the No. 62 way. However the staff just gave me the room which is closest to the No. 62 way. So it's very noisy and I can not sleep well. There is smell of mold in the bath room.
The good thing is the location.It's only one hour to the Crater lake national park. The lodge is close to the river. The not so great thing is the lodge is just off the No.62 way, so it's a bit noisy. I booked the hotel one month ago, also I was almost the 1st person to check in that day and asked the staff to give me a room not so close to the No. 62 way. The check in process was smooth and staff was friendly. Be aware - check in has unconventional time cut off, at 8PM. We arrived later and called in advance asking about late registration at 8:45. The rooms are large with enough space for 4. The major concern is noise isolation: we heard neighbours on both sides. One side went to sleep quite late, other woke up at 6AM. Folks were just talking, but heard almost whole conversation like they are in our room. I’m light sleeper and could not get desired rest. With high Expedia rating I was expecting more.

This is a beautiful property. There was a large wedding party when we stayed and we were worried about noise but it was not an issue. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Shower space was a bit small so a larger person than me 6’4” 218lbs or if you are clostrifobic there might be an issue. Front office personnel was spot on and there are plenty of dining options in walking or short drive distance for a small riverside community. They have a beautiful deck overlooking the Rogue River. If My travels bring me back to Shady Cove I would definitely request one of the rooms overlooking the river but we were in room 7 and it was just a very short walk to the deck on the river. Definitely worth staying here.

Cute cabin like room - deluxe king. Stayed here when touring crater lake and the falls of 138. The deck by the river really nice to sit at in the evening. Nice gardens all around.

Really nice grounds with flowers and water view. Rooms were big. Coffee and water bottles were provided. It would have been nice to have some plates,utensils, and bowls provided too. Everyone was friendly.

Property was clean, but the beds were horrible. Sofa sleeper needs to be dumped and main bed was like sleeping in a valley. I was holding the side to keep from rolling. Dont think i will be back.

The name is a bit misleading, the property is on the riverfront and there is a nice common area for guests to enjoy the river, but only a few rooms are overlooking the river the majority are not. That bring said the room was clean and the hostess was friendly and accomidating. The price is very reasonable for the area, macs diner next door was good with river front dining and there is a rafting company accross the street as well as several stores in walking distance. Miguel's is another good dining choice in the area with river front seating available.

What a little gem of a motel! We spent just one night and I wish it’d been longer. We booked the two bedroom option, and it was perfect for our friends trip. Plenty of space with a separate living area with a dining room table and a small kitchen area with a sink, fridge, and microwave. We found a few cup, coffee, and condiments. Dana was great accommodating our late check in! The outside area was super cute with various areas to sit and relax. One of my favorite places I’ve stayed!

There is a huge fire near Crater Lake. When we arrived, the smoke from the fire was so bad that it obstructed the view of the lake. Additionally, it was difficult to breathe and my eyes were burning. We were not able to do the hike we had planned for the day. We called Riverfront Lodge to see about canceling our reservation. The woman we spoke to was very kind and said to call Expedia in order to see about a refund. We chatted with an Expedia agent who called the hotel to have them issue a waiver in order to get a refund. Whoever the agent spoke to said that they are strict about their cancelation policies and would not give us a waiver. We completely understand having policies that do not allow for same day cancelations, however, just say that when we called the first time. I would highly recommend checking out fire conditions in the area three days ahead of time so that you can cancel your stay at Riverfront Lodge and get a refund on an unused visit.

Dana the manager was super. She was very accommodating and put us in a great room early . Dana went out of her way to assist. Staff very friendly . The river runs right along property. Mac’s Diner right next door with great food too. Very worth the stay will be here again

Absolutely terrible customers service. My partner and I went to check in after a 7 hour drive. This place looked great and had excellent reviews for the area. As soon as we walked through the door, the lady at the reception was rude and obnoxious. We were checking in with a service dog for my partners epilepsy. This property does not allow pets, but service animals are a different matter. She started to debate the validity of the status of her service dog and refused to listen to any of our responses. Even when we offered documentation. Looked like it could be a nice place. This staff member however ruined the experience. We cancelled our booking and went somewhere else. If you want a better place to stay, take our advice, drive the extra 15 minutes south and stay at the Resort at Eagle Point. The staff there are welcoming and accommodating. Unlike this place. And about the same price! We now have a full suite and fully let friendly. Even if they aren’t a service animal.

Great customer service! We were in town for a death in the family and the staff were awesome in getting us set up with longer stays as needed. Friendly and kind staff!

We were not sure what to expect here. We were very happy with our stay. The check in was incredibly easy, parking by our room was very convenient and the room was very cozy and clean. The property had several walkable dining & beverage options. They also have a beautiful deck overlook of the river to relax. It was 102 degrees the day we stayed (even in the shade) so we didn’t use the deck as we otherwise might have. We used the motel for a jumping off point to visit Crater Lake NP the following day, which worked very well. But we would definitely consider spending more time at this property in the future. For the price, Riverfront Lodging is a little gem!

The good thing is the location.It's only one hour to the Crater lake national park. The lodge is close to the river. The not so great thing is the lodge is just off the No.62 way, so it's a bit noisy. I booked the hotel one month ago, also I was almost the 1st person to check in that day and asked the staff to give me a room not so close to the No. 62 way. However the staff just gave me the room which is closest to the No. 62 way. So it's very noisy and I can not sleep well. There is smell of mold in the bath room.
The good thing is the location.It's only one hour to the Crater lake national park. The lodge is close to the river. Clean and spacious room in the quaint river town of Shady Cove. This room was perfect for a one-eighty stay for our family of four visiting Crater Lake National Park. We especially enjoyed sitting on the porch that overlooked the river with a bottle of local wine. The staff was very nice, the beds were comfortable, and the motel was close to a good grocery store and a wonderful coffee shop.

The location, right next to the Rogue River, was ideal. A cafe sitting nextdoor and also on the water served nice food on its decks overlooking the River. A large screen TV and a coffee maker with real coffee made this a bargain stopover on our way from San Francisco to Crater Lake

The hotel say was good for the price. No breakfast or amenities and bed was hard. Everything was clean and functional. The staff was pleasant and had the room ready for me even though I showed up late when they were closed. They gave us plastic forks and ice for our meal. Good location, would stay here again.

Check-in was great. Lady at desk was extremely helpful and friendly. Room was cozy and adorable. Bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the patio by the river. The rooms by the river looked nice. There is a restaurant next door, we didn't eat there but it is convenient if you wanted to. There was not a thing wrong with out stay.

Check in was seamless, and friendly (the office is open for check in from 3:00pm - 8:00pm). Our Junior Studio room was gorgeous, spacious, clean, and comfortable. It had everything we needed; a comfortable king bed, massive walk-in shower, kitchenette with microwave, fridge, and coffee maker, and STRONG wifi! We were sad to be staying only one night. There’s a lovely two tier deck at the back of the property overlooking the Rogue River, and at the front a large, well-maintained grassy area with tables, chairs, and umbrellas. Rose bushes line the driveway 🌹 Dinner recommendation was a short walk to Miguel’s for Mexican food ***YUM!*** And the breakfast sandwiches from the gas station are surprisingly delicious! The hours of the restaurant next door aren’t convenient for travellers through the week; they’re open 9-5 🤔 Would definitely recommend!

Good air conditioning it was over 100 degrees the day I stayed. Staff very nice. There is a nice river side deck and cooler by the river. Great bed and shower. I would definitely stay there again. Very quiet.

The room was well laid out and comfortable. There was a Keurig and a microwave on the counter and it had a large sink. There was no ice machine, so a bag was provided at the office. Parking was right outside the door. It was a quiet and pleasant place to stay.
