Great location. You can walk for food choices and many convenience markets in area for snacks. I had single room. Good shower . Property Safe in room quiet and clean. Breakfast and staff very helpful for tours or any other question. Airport pickup and drop off excellent. Arrange through hotel. I arrived at midnight and nice to have driver there. I stayed 4 nights . Would have preferred larger room but it worked. Did not spend much time in room anyway. Later moved on to Danang as planned.

Great location with friendly and helpful staff staff. See definitely better than most 3 star places I have stayed at in the past. Free water for drinking is limited but that is the same all over Vietnam. They arrange transportation and trips too.

The staff and management at the hotel were not accommodating and rude at times. The conference room was the bar underneath the hotel. Not a state of the art conference room that was advertised on their website. It was hot, dark and a terrible place to hold meetings. The hotel management would not find an adequate solution to this problem. I cannot recommend this hotel.

The staff is SO kind. I cant emphasize how kind they been to us. They spoke english well and the breakfast has been delicious. Our trips were full of bumps and the kindness we felt here was one of my best highlight. They helped book our ride from airport and to our next destination. It is quite over stimulating and over whelming here otherwise. There is room service daily and building is old but they had all the essential to fridge and hair drier as well and an elevator. Location is very ideal and all the best eats qere a quick walk. I would definitely come back. Thank you hotel delica for accompdating us.

The location was fantastic. Reminder to always understand what room you are getting. The rooms at the front have windows, the rooms at the back don't. I was most disturbed to see cockroaches in my room and then also on the food at breakfast. The staff was very friendly but trying to sell tours and transportation with inflated cost. The bed was very comfortable, the laundry service was good. The in-room safe sat on the table, not attached to anything. I had arranged for transportation from the airport ahead of time since I was getting in after dark and received confirmation multiple times. When I arrived there was no one waiting for me and it was another hour before I was finally picked up only after another taxi driver helped me contact the hotel.

I could not recommend this property more!!! The staff was so kind and so helpful, the rooms were beautiful, and breakfast and laundry included were very helpful. We stayed here three times while in Hanoi. We kept coming back after short trips to Ha Long / Ha Giang. Felt like home. 10/10 :)))

We loved it here! Rose was amazing she helped us with every question we had! Before we arrived she set up a driver to pick us up at the airport and a driver 6 days later to get us back to the airport. The price was less than $18. There is an elevator so it made it easy to get to our room. All the staff were kind and helpful. Breakfast was good it included an omelette if you asked for one. Linh was helpful too. I would stay here again!

Very friendly and helpful staff, nice clean room, breakfast included. Staff helped arrange toirs and taxis and were always cheerful. Room comfortable. Good location in old quarter, nice to walk around and felt safe.

I booked 4 nights due to great reviews and location. I arrived late at night, reception was dark, receptionist asleep. Not the advertized 24 hour reception. This should have been the first warning. I went to my room, which was very small. The window lock was broken which made me feel unsafe and looked onto a very dirty looking shaft. I knew instantly that cockroaches were likely to live there. Sure enough in the middle of the night I woke up and saw a cockroach crawling on the desk. Not that I could get much sleep as I discovered it is a very old building with paper thin walls, and you can hear literally everything from all the guests including their loud tvs at all times of the night. In addition you will hear water in all the pipes.I was unhappy and went downstairs to eat my breakfast which seemed very basic. I met another women was also very upset at her stay in the hotel, having also problems of noise. The hotel felt like a 1 star possibly 2 star at the very best, and felt like the next thing up from a youth hostel. I asked to cancel the rest of my stay, and went to the A25 Hotel 15 Tran Quoc Toan instead. The A25 hotel was far cleaner, had bigger room, equipment not broken, nice minibar of reasonably priced snacks, no noise from other neighbour rooms. It was also slightly cheaper than the Delica hotel. Yet the Delica hotel is listed as 3 1/2 star, A25 is 2 1/2 star. I was puzzled until I read many Vietnam hotels inflate their star ratings and get scam reviews on google.

Such great and caring staff, excellence service, communication from overseas (Canada) was easy and welcomed. The hotel was clean and the rooms very comfortabke and well appointed, the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Definitely a grea value and worth staying there again.

Front desk staff was very kind but pushy to leave a good review when we honestly didn’t think the hotel deserved it. We had ants in our bed in the first room they gave us and the new room they have had no shower curtain and the sink didn’t work properly. It also still had some ants crawling around the room. They also say they have a free airport shuttle but it’s a 1km walk to the public bus which they cover then another 2km walk to the airport itself so we ended up just paying 300k Dong for a taxi. Breakfast was okay not too many options and also saw ants crawling around so was hesitant to eat their fruit that was out.

The hotel is centrally located, spacious, the staff are excellent and very helpful. The hotel itself needs improvement, for example, the washroom shower is not working properly. The hotel has a good potential but needs tlc.

Very clean hotel in a great area! The staff were all so lovely and helpful. They even let us store our bags for the day when we returned from a cruise in Ha Long Bay 3 days after we had checked out!

We stayed here just for a few hours between the end of our cruise and before our late night flight. It's a very basic hotel with a very strange bathroom configuration - the shower is over the toilet. However, the room served our purpose alright. The staff were helpful and arranged for our airport drop-off.
We stayed here just for a few hours between the end of our cruise and before our late night flight. It's a very basic hotel with a very strange bathroom configuration - the shower is over the toilet. However, the room served our purpose alright. The staff were helpful and arranged for our airport drop-off.

Such great and caring staff, excellence service, communication from overseas (Canada) was easy and welcomed. The hotel was clean and the rooms very comfortabke and well appointed, the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Definitely a grea value and worth staying there again.

Very dated room, lack of amenities. The front desk guy is talkative, unprofessional. Some of the house keeping staff is rude. The surrounding area is super busy & noisy. Not recommended this hotel.

The location was fantastic. Reminder to always understand what room you are getting. The rooms at the front have windows, the rooms at the back don't. I was most disturbed to see cockroaches in my room and then also on the food at breakfast. The staff was very friendly but trying to sell tours and transportation with inflated cost. The bed was very comfortable, the laundry service was good. The in-room safe sat on the table, not attached to anything. I had arranged for transportation from the airport ahead of time since I was getting in after dark and received confirmation multiple times. When I arrived there was no one waiting for me and it was another hour before I was finally picked up only after another taxi driver helped me contact the hotel.

I came from Sa Pa to stay in Hanoi for 2 nights. Stayed in this hotel. Informed the reception on duty upon check in that our flight would be in the evening at 6pm and we requested to check out late at 3pm. Agreed by the staff. Next, We received a phone call around noon telling us to check out as other guests are coming to stay. To my surprise, I went down and confirmed with the lady and say that we can max extend your time till 1.30pm. I just want to comment on the poor management system. How can you accept a guest to stay while we are still occupying the room. I wouldn't recommend to people who intend to extend their nights or time. I am truly unsatisfied with this.

I booked 4 nights due to great reviews and location. I arrived late at night, reception was dark, receptionist asleep. Not the advertized 24 hour reception. This should have been the first warning. I went to my room, which was very small. The window lock was broken which made me feel unsafe and looked onto a very dirty looking shaft. I knew instantly that cockroaches were likely to live there. Sure enough in the middle of the night I woke up and saw a cockroach crawling on the desk. Not that I could get much sleep as I discovered it is a very old building with paper thin walls, and you can hear literally everything from all the guests including their loud tvs at all times of the night. In addition you will hear water in all the pipes.I was unhappy and went downstairs to eat my breakfast which seemed very basic. I met another women was also very upset at her stay in the hotel, having also problems of noise. The hotel felt like a 1 star possibly 2 star at the very best, and felt like the next thing up from a youth hostel. I asked to cancel the rest of my stay, and went to the A25 Hotel 15 Tran Quoc Toan instead. The A25 hotel was far cleaner, had bigger room, equipment not broken, nice minibar of reasonably priced snacks, no noise from other neighbour rooms. It was also slightly cheaper than the Delica hotel. Yet the Delica hotel is listed as 3 1/2 star, A25 is 2 1/2 star. The greatest asset of the hotel is the reception named Thomas. He go far and beyond. We arrived late at around 8 pm tired and hungry. We ask of any Vietnamese food around. He came with us to show us his favorite. It was a good choice and a chance for us to experience authentic Vietnamese dinner. The other hotel staff that goes with us did not understand that I was trying to give a surprise and he almost ruined it. The location is a perfect Vietnamese experience, lots of foods, the Catholic Church are nearby. And to many things to do. It’s clean, the noice could just be heard everywhere. Even from the 4th floor, you could hear the sound from the 5th floor when you are in the hallway.

The staff is SO kind. I cant emphasize how kind they been to us. They spoke english well and the breakfast has been delicious. Our trips were full of bumps and the kindness we felt here was one of my best highlight. They helped book our ride from airport and to our next destination. It is quite over stimulating and over whelming here otherwise. There is room service daily and building is old but they had all the essential to fridge and hair drier as well and an elevator. Location is very ideal and all the best eats qere a quick walk. I would definitely come back. Thank you hotel delica for accompdating us.

Great location. You can walk for food choices and many convenience markets in area for snacks. I had single room. Good shower . Property Safe in room quiet and clean. Breakfast and staff very helpful for tours or any other question. Airport pickup and drop off excellent. Arrange through hotel. I arrived at midnight and nice to have driver there. I stayed 4 nights . Would have preferred larger room but it worked. Did not spend much time in room anyway. Later moved on to Danang as planned.

Front desk staff was very kind but pushy to leave a good review when we honestly didn’t think the hotel deserved it. We had ants in our bed in the first room they gave us and the new room they have had no shower curtain and the sink didn’t work properly. It also still had some ants crawling around the room. They also say they have a free airport shuttle but it’s a 1km walk to the public bus which they cover then another 2km walk to the airport itself so we ended up just paying 300k Dong for a taxi. Breakfast was okay not too many options and also saw ants crawling around so was hesitant to eat their fruit that was out.

We loved it here! Rose was amazing she helped us with every question we had! Before we arrived she set up a driver to pick us up at the airport and a driver 6 days later to get us back to the airport. The price was less than $18. There is an elevator so it made it easy to get to our room. All the staff were kind and helpful. Breakfast was good it included an omelette if you asked for one. Linh was helpful too. I would stay here again!

I was very disappointed in the property and perplexed by the good reviews. The staff is very nice, but I believe it is very deceiving and what they claim they offer. I booked it because we thought it was free breakfast and free shuttle to the airport, but they only provided fruits for breakfast and they did not provide free shuttle to airport. What I really was shocked and did not like was the toilet was inside the shower. I couldn’t get past it.

There a plenty of lovely hotels in the area and whilst the location of this hotel was convenient, I absolutely would not stay here again. We didn’t receive a breakfast package to take away as we had an early flight which was included in our stay and we asked for this upon check in and notified them that we would be leaving early. The concierge was asleep on the sofa when we came down to check out. The rooms were mouldy and very worn. The shower was directly next to the toilet so when you tried to wash yourself you get back splash from the toilet. You can hear everything in rooms around you. Do not stay here.

Very friendly staff. David was very service minded. The family room for 4 people was good. The room was a bit worn down though, but it had a balcony with a nice view over the hustling and bustling city.

We had a wonderful stay at Delica Hotel. David , the receptionist, helped us a lot and made our stay comfortable. The hotel is located in old quarter close to all locations and is very walkable.
