Excellent evening meal. Friendly and helpful staff. Very close to bus stop to get into Cambridge. Nice touches like tissues in the room, water in the fridge Main pub building had plenty of comfortable seating and outdoors tables etc. Climbing frame looked good. Room a bit cramped for three adults, but exactly as shown in the photograph. King bed very comfortable. Would happily stay there again

Friendly village pub with rooms which were converted outbuildings across a small car park. Plenty of outside seating. Good choice of draught beers etc. Menu looked good but we had eaten earlier so didn't visit restaurant area. Staff very friendly & couldn't do more. Sunday eve sun made outside area popular & pub welcomed dogs inside

Excellent stay. There are 4 x ex stables which have been converted into individual chalet type accommodation. Comfortable. Medium sized fridge in room. No noise from adjoining accommodation. Free parking. Had an excellent meal in the restaurant. Bar area separate from restaurant. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

We had a good experience. It ticked the boxes we required. Very comfortable bed, could park right outside our chalet . Quiet, good nights sleep. Plentiful tea & coffee supplied. Mini fridge. Fan provided & heating available. There is a little play area which was neglected and that’s a shame . Outside areas need tidying up. We didn’t use the bar or restaurant so can’t comment on service or quality. We used this accommodation as a base for a family gathering and stayed 2 nights.

I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are converted stables, which are very quaint. The room had everything you needed including a mini fridge. The pillows were amazing, had a good nights sleep. The only negative is that the heating was not on when I arrived, so the room was very cold. Ate in the restaurant and by the time I returned it was warm

Smart classic pub. Comfortable clean rooms, great food, lovely staff. Nice quiet area. Convenient for Cambridge as the park and ride is only 5 mins drive away.

Check in was easy and the room was well appointed - parking near the rooms was convenient - bedding was good quality as was the shower - good that there was a fan and a fridge in the hot weather. The only thing that was a bit of an issue was there was a lot of insects in the room - like small moths - we didn’t report it as we had a short stay but ensured our clothing was packed away out of harms way.

Check in was easy and the room was well appointed - parking near the rooms was convenient - bedding was good quality as was the shower - good that there was a fan and a fridge in the hot weather. The greeting on arrival was rather miserable. Certainly not warm. The room was quite small and a bit stuffy , with no window view. It was clean and the bed firm and comfortable, but was quite basic and a little tired. It also had clothes moths, so when we got home we emptied our bags outside and shook every item vigorously (we had a couple in the bags). The pub was quite nice, staff and food were excellent. The set Indian meal was superb, as was the sea bass. I'd say that value for money was average given the comments above and the lack of a breakfast.

Lovely place to stay, room was modern and very clean. Car parking included and restaurant within the main building.The only thing missing is breakfast! This has been my favourite place to stay when visiting Cambridge as it’s only a 15 minute commute to get into the city. Highly recommend!

The staff were so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was so clean and comfortable. The food was out of this world I would highly recommend staying here. We will be back. Was sad to leave

Great restaurant and good location in a quiet neighborhood near Cambridge. The staff was very accommodating and even kept the kitchen open late to provide us dinner upon our late arrival. Rooms are small but well appointed & good value for the price. The bed size was advertised as king but it was a double which is small for us. The windows do not open in the room (perhaps for safety as the rooms are all ground floor) so the room was a bit stuffy and warm for our comfort. A fan was provided, which helped.

A nice pub and the service was friendly enough. The room was also nice, warm and bed very comfortable. Unfortunately I wasnt able to use the free wifi as there was no wifi password to be found anywhere in my room, and by the time I arrived and settled down, the pub and all staff had closed/gone home.

The bed was two singles pushed together and one was soft the other hard. There was no breakfast…I’ve never stayed at a pub before that didn’t offer breakfast. There was a big green light on by the door which illuminated the room when you turned the lights off. The radiator made an electrical buzzing noise which kept waking me up…rhe staff were nice at least!

Excellent evening meal. Friendly and helpful staff. Very close to bus stop to get into Cambridge. Nice touches like tissues in the room, water in the fridge Main pub building had plenty of comfortable seating and outdoors tables etc. Climbing frame looked good. Room a bit cramped for three adults, but exactly as shown in the photograph. King bed very comfortable. Would happily stay there again

Great restaurant and good location in a quiet neighborhood near Cambridge. The staff was very accommodating and even kept the kitchen open late to provide us dinner upon our late arrival. Rooms are small but well appointed & good value for the price. The bed size was advertised as king but it was a double which is small for us. The windows do not open in the room (perhaps for safety as the rooms are all ground floor) so the room was a bit stuffy and warm for our comfort. A fan was provided, which helped.

Would recommend staying here as the staff are really helpful & the food was very good. Drinks were fairly priced & cocktails very good. Everything worked in the rooms & shower was very good. Good parking & bus stops close by for Cambridge.

Had a nice short stay overnight. Lovely and quiet. Rooms are well decorated and clean. Had a great walk around the lake close by.

Lovely place to stay, room was modern and very clean. Car parking included and restaurant within the main building.The only thing missing is breakfast! This has been my favourite place to stay when visiting Cambridge as it’s only a 15 minute commute to get into the city. Highly recommend!

Excellent stay. There are 4 x ex stables which have been converted into individual chalet type accommodation. Comfortable. Medium sized fridge in room. No noise from adjoining accommodation. Free parking. Had an excellent meal in the restaurant. Bar area separate from restaurant. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

The bed was two singles pushed together and one was soft the other hard. There was no breakfast…I’ve never stayed at a pub before that didn’t offer breakfast. There was a big green light on by the door which illuminated the room when you turned the lights off. The radiator made an electrical buzzing noise which kept waking me up…rhe staff were nice at least!

This was a one-night stay for work. Car park was free but small. Room was great, Wifi okay but code for wifi not in room, so had to go into pub and ask for it. TV okay. I left a pair of trousers in the room and on calling the venue they posted them back to me.

Bar area and food is good The accommodation, which is the most important is dated and very basic, damage to furniture, deep cup stains on table, minimal trowels etc in the room The floor is laminate / Vinyl and was sticky, so much so i wore socks from stepping out of the shower as the floor felt dirty. The description is i would say a little misleading ! Our rooms were described as " Deluxe Double Room, Accessible, Ensuite " that is far from the actual rooms we were issued The Courtyard is a pub Car Park with furniture stacked up in in it and a small outside area of the pub with tables. The block the rooms are in is a separate run of timber brick construction on a single floor run of 4 rooms. Personally i would not stay again. Not the worst, but i and indeed my Business college were expecting a little better quality of room and decor
