Our stay at the Lansdowne was wonderful- Corrine and Casey couldn’t have been more lovely and welcoming. The breakfasts are delicious and the room was very comfortable, although a tad small for two of us. The building was built mid-1800’s and there is no lift — if you have mobility issues request a ground floor room.

Me and my wife were allocated a room on 2/Floor. As we planned to stay only one night, we decided to take just what we needed and left the luggages locked up inside our car therefore walking upstairs was not a problem. There were plenty of guests parking spaces just outside the B&B. Walking to the beautiful river area where many pubs and restaurants were located took less than 5 minutes.

Really lovely place to stay to visit Bourton on the water. Just a few minutes walk into the high street. Parking is a little tight but that was more down to a selfish patron taking up more than their share of space. Drinks and snacks in the room along with tea and coffee. Breakfast was delicious. Would definately recommend.

Great hotel, friendly and helpful staff, immaculately presented, very clean, great breakfast, very close to town(3 mins walk). Room was very well presented, spacious and with a great bathroom. Could not be any happier with our stay and highly recommend this hotel.

A lovely overnight stay. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and our room was nicely decorated and very clean. Very short walk into the beautiful Bourton on the Water. Great breakfast- both the full English and Eggs Royale were cooked to perfection. Would definitely recommend.

The location was very convenient and close to everything. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The room could use some improvements: The curtains are not darkening and the room was too bright from sunrise at 5:00. The bathroom had no hooks at all for the towels. The water is too hot in the shower and water temperature could not be turned down.

We only stayed one night, we had a very warm welcome from the lovely lady who checked us in, the room was ideal with lots of nice little thoughtful touches.Very clean and comfortable Breakfast of good quality and service Would stay again/ recommend to others

Enjoyed our stay here close to the shops and the village centre. The double room was quite small and there was a lack of hooks/pegs in the bathroom but overall cleanliness was very good. Corinne is an excellent host and very helpful with anything you need to know.

Great location, highly convenient base to navigate to the many Cotswolds sightseeing spots. Parking was very tight on both nights as other cars occupied a lot of space - I’d recommend renting a tiny car if possible. Wi-Fi worked well on most days but was very spotty on the last night. Hot shower was occasionally cold unfortunately. Property is well maintained and late check-in instructions were super clear!

I stayed here the year before and thoroughly enjoyed it. The room I stayed in this year didn’t feel quite as comfortable. The bathtub shower are slightly raised up, I could see it being a little less safe getting in and out for someone that is physically limited. The bed, while very comfortable, extended beyond the bathroom entry and therefore felt squeezed into place. Breakfast was generous but my coffee that’s served in a bodum leaked coffee grounds. Small things I realize, but enough not to rate it excellent.

Older hotel, very clean, good condition, big comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast, great location, and reasonable price. My only complaint is the bed was too small. In the US, the bed would be a "full" size which is too small for a middle-aged couple. Younger people wouldn't mind it, but older folks need a little more room. The rooms are big enough to accommodate at least a queen bed. Would I stay there again? No, the bed was too small.

We had a beautiful night stay at The Lansdowne. Easy to find, lovely guesthouse, good breakfast. The staff made us feel welcome. Very good attention to detail, plus I had a requirement for soya milk and they delivered.

We stayed for 2 nights for our wedding anniversary. Really lovely manager Corrinne was really helpful. We did have an issue with the shower which was resolved during our stay. Easy parking, great location, stylish accommodation & lovely breakfast. Lots of pubs and restaurants close by. 15 min walk to Hawkstone Brewery to sample their goods was great too. We also enjoyed the farmer’s market (on the last Sunday of the month). I would happily stay again and recommend to others.

We cannot say enough good things about our stay here! It was one of our favorite stays in all of our 25 years of travel! The staff were incredibly friendly and we loved being able to walk to everything. We are already planning a return trip!

What a great location to visit local area. Walkable. Safe. Very easy parking. Staff are friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Comfortable bed and high-quality bathroom products. Yummy cooked-to-order breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel.

Breakfast was INCREDIBLE!!! The hospitality provided by the lovely young lady that checked us in, carried our suitcase up the stairs, and served our breakfast was TOP NOTCH. It was very convenient to be able to have a place to park our car. Highly recommend!!!

I stayed here for a friends wedding so booked one of the single rooms. It’s a great size and has everything you need. The addition of fresh milk in the room for your tea and coffee is a nice touch. Staff are very friendly and accommodating, quiet but central location. The breakfast is fantastic, lots of choice and made to order. Great little b&b. Would recommend staying here.

We had a fantastic stay at the Lansdowne and wouldn't hesitate staying there again! From weeks before our trip giving us tips on how to spend New Years Eve, to our actual stay, they were always looking to help make our trip better! From weeks before our trip giving us tips on how to spend New Years Eve, to our actual stay, they were always looking to help make our trip better! Amazing stay at The Lansdown, we had a fantastic 2 days here. Its so close to Bourton-on - the- water , it has free parking and the breakfast was so good! Would absolutely stay here again!

Breakfast was INCREDIBLE!!! The hospitality provided by the lovely young lady that checked us in, carried our suitcase up the stairs, and served our breakfast was TOP NOTCH. It was very convenient to be able to have a place to park our car. Highly recommend!!!

I stayed here for a friends wedding so booked one of the single rooms. It’s a great size and has everything you need. The addition of fresh milk in the room for your tea and coffee is a nice touch. Staff are very friendly and accommodating, quiet but central location. The breakfast is fantastic, lots of choice and made to order. Great little b&b. Would recommend staying here.

Absolutely wonderful! Parking was easy, rooms were extremely comfortable. Corriene is incredibly welcoming, helpful, and all around splendid. The breakfast options are plentiful and delicious! An absolute gem in the Cotswolds.

Corinne was such a great help (and insanely strong hauling our suitcase up 2 flights of stairs). She gave us helpful recommendations and we got a 10% discount at a local restaurant for staying there. Breakfast was delicious and the room was comfy and clean. We would definitely stay again.

The Lansdowne was located about a 5’ walk from the heart of Bourton on the Water. The room was a good size, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good and the staff were very helpful and friendly. An enjoyable place to stay for a few days.
