I absolutely loved the Shangri-La! My husband and I spent three nights there and it was peaceful and very comfortable. High-end pillows and wonderful shower with special touches like a Keurig coffee maker and large flatscreen TV in the room. We ate at their wonderful organic restaurant every day as we received a discount. The food was wonderful. Just be aware that there is no pool on this property and there is no Wi-Fi. I was able to use my phone just fine and the pool is still on the property, but cannot be used because it needs to be retrofitted. It was definitely a joy to stay and it is close to , lots of restaurants and the beach. We will definitely be staying again in the future!

Spent a lovely 3 nights here. Very clean. Unfortunately we didn’t have a breakfast option available when booking via l Expedia. Please be aware that there is NO WIFI and as hanging space for your clothes only 5 hangers in your room. No room for your clothes, so we were living out of our suitcase. Cleaning wasn’t done during our stay nor change of towels. If you did want this service then you have to ask at reception. Other than that, the place was clean and the bed was comfy.

My husband and I booked this hotel randomly for a one night mini getaway. We were not disappointed! Not only was our room clean, comfortable, up-to-date, AND had a little private patio, but the grounds themselves were just very cool. It’s almost like a botanical garden is included in your stay. We did not utilize the spa or on-site restaurant, but I’d imagine they’d be wonderful. To top it off, the main building itself is historic, which adds more charm to the property. This is not a hotel for rowdy guests, and does have quiet hours, so if you’re looking for a comfortable, relaxing place to stay, this is it! We will be back next time we’re in Bonita Springs. Cheers!

The property was beautiful. The rooms were new, but the hotel is old. You can hear everything. We had a neighbor coughing all night long and it sound like she was in the room with us. There is no pool. The hotel had a weird smell. I don’t know it’s from the flooding of the hurricane. The food at the hotel was awful. There is no microwave. It’s definitely not worth the price we paid. We would never stay there again. We were very shocked at how well it was rated and then to arrive there how much different it was. The spa was nice too probably the only thing that saved it was how wonderful the spa was. Again definitely not a 9.2 hotel. Not even close.

We had a very nice stay overnight at the charming Shangri La. We arrived late afternoon and checked out the next morning. The bed was comfortable and shower was great. Towels were good, just wish there was a place to hang them and clothing near the shower stall door while showering. The patio was a nice surprise and coming from a colder climate it was nice to sit there in January. The only real downside was that we heard lots of noise any time other guests rolled their bags down the sidewalk outside our room door and the fact they don’t have WiFi due to being in a Blue Zone. It is my fault for not reading the listing thoroughly enough to know they don’t have internet, but we were on our way to a conference and both needed to work a little and couldn’t easily do so. Internet on our ATT phones was very spotty throughout the whole Bonita Springs area. Overall I would stay here again.

Charming, historical property, which is fine for a night but perhaps challenging for a longer stay. The air conditioner in our room would make a loud rumbling sound periodically. As expected, bath area was small with almost no space to set down items. But there was a Keurig, a fridge, and a ceiling fan, which are nice. The hotel is by a mineral spring, so expect the odor from it.

The Expedia described the suite as having two king size beds and a queen bed. The actual suite had one king, one queen and one pullout. There was no pool as advertised on Expedia and the restaurant was only from 8 am to 2 pm and serve cereal and light foods, not a full kitchen. There was no wifi. No coffee in the rooms. Despite having three bathrooms in the suite, only one person could shower at a time or the water wouldn’t be hot.

Nice scenic surrounding around the building. Mattresses were great. Very old building, but redone well. I rented the small 2BR suite (493sq ft). The main BR was small. We checked in just after 10PM, and the front desk guy didn't know where our second BR was. Took time to get it figured out. Main defect is there is NO WiFi (Expedia is incorrect). Apparently, there is wired internet, but we found that out late in our stay, did not use it.

We ended up here after vacating a property that we had booked and was unliveable. We were upset and felt like our trip was in a major disruption. Shangri-La was the savior to our vacation. It only took 5 minutes at Shangri-La to forget about our awful experience. The staff was so friendly and inviting. The room was clean and so comforting. The hotel grounds are stunning and serene. It was like stepping into a magical far away land. The history of the hotel and the springs makes you feel connected to the land. The trees, flowers, lizards, statue's, and water brought us into a space of peace. I cannot say enough about Shangri-La. I am actually so greatful we went through our negative experience because it brought us here and we got to have this experience and now have these memories forever. I highly recommend Shangri-La. I have heard that internet is an issue here, but we didn't miss it. We spent our time enjoying each other and the beautiful property. Also, don't forget to buy a spa robe. They are pure luxury. Thank you too everyone at Shangri-La for making our vacation unforgettable. Also, thank you to all the grounds people to keep that place looking so magical.

All in all a great place to stay in the area. Check-in was a little touch and go as it took forever and it didn’t seem like anybody knew what exactly was going on. Other than that completely satisfied with the location as well as the surrounding area.

Nice scenic surrounding around the building. Mattresses were great. Very old building, but redone well. I rented the small 2BR suite (493sq ft). The main BR was small. We checked in just after 10PM, and the front desk guy didn't know where our second BR was. Took time to get it figured out. Main defect is there is NO WiFi (Expedia is incorrect). Apparently, there is wired internet, but we found that out late in our stay, did not use it.

We had a wonderful stay!!! I would like to give a special shout out to Mary Anne and Etta. They were so professional and helpful and friendly! We felt at home right away. What an oasis in the middle of a hectic “season”.

This property is sooooo beautiful and peaceful. A true oasis. The gardens have been meticoulously maintained and you just want to hang around and zen out. I was surprised by all the dining options near by and things to do like kayaking on the river and watching the game at the sports bar which is within walking distance. I will surely stay here again.

The grounds of the property are outstanding & beautiful. Walkable to local coffee shop & new night life location as well as other shops. Only dissappointment for the costs & hospitality level there was no wireless internet service available. Also I was surprised there wasn't daily maid service. The controller for the HVAC unit didn't seem to be working. We would stay again, just seemed there were a few details missing. But the building & grounds are amazing.

I absolutely loved the Shangri-La! My husband and I spent three nights there and it was peaceful and very comfortable. High-end pillows and wonderful shower with special touches like a Keurig coffee maker and large flatscreen TV in the room. We ate at their wonderful organic restaurant every day as we received a discount. The food was wonderful. Just be aware that there is no pool on this property and there is no Wi-Fi. I was able to use my phone just fine and the pool is still on the property, but cannot be used because it needs to be retrofitted. It was definitely a joy to stay and it is close to , lots of restaurants and the beach. We will definitely be staying again in the future!

The property was beautiful. The rooms were new, but the hotel is old. You can hear everything. We had a neighbor coughing all night long and it sound like she was in the room with us. There is no pool. The hotel had a weird smell. I don’t know it’s from the flooding of the hurricane. The food at the hotel was awful. There is no microwave. It’s definitely not worth the price we paid. We would never stay there again. We were very shocked at how well it was rated and then to arrive there how much different it was. The spa was nice too probably the only thing that saved it was how wonderful the spa was. Again definitely not a 9.2 hotel. Not even close.

I did not like that internet service was not provided on the property and that irons and ironing boards were not provided. Additionally, the. Pool was not operational at the height of the season. The restaurant’s menus was limited and the cost was unreasonable. Without these simple amenities the cost per night was excessive for the value.

The property is stunning. It is like visiting a Botanical Gardens. The food is exceptional with fresh organic produce grown in the gardens. The room has organic cotton linens - the most comfortable, cozy bed & bath.

Our stay at Shangri-La Springs was awesome The staff was very friendly, the property is beautiful, the room was clean and comfortable, the food at the restaurant was delicious and the Spa services were also very nice I will definitely come back

We truly enjoyed our first time stay here in the amazing brunch afterwards. Unfortunately we checked into the room late at night after the Immokalee car show so we had limited time at the property, but we will be back next year for sure with our friends, also doing the car show. When we arrived late in the evening, the property was lit up, beautiful with lights and we enjoyed walking around the property at night. It was absolutely enchanting. To see the property during the day was absolutely amazing with the beautiful gardens and the wonderful wood deck to have brunch absolutely Stunning Property. We look forward to coming back and enjoying the spa next time.

A beautiful property! My room was spotless and decorated with beautiful individuality. The private patio was a a slice of heaven. The location was perfect as well being walking distance to several great local establishments like Sugarshack Downtown. Can't wait to stay again.

Excellent place tucked away in Bonita Springs, the grounds are amazing big beautiful trees, flowers just incredible atmosphere. The rooms are nice and spacious perfect size bathrooms and an excellent little patio area to relax. Close to everything. The staff is phenomenal, super friendly and accommodating. No request went unanswered. We’ll definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.
