Ate in the pub both nights - excellent food, plenty of choice. Breakfast also excellent especially the French toast, bacon and maple syrup. Very comfy bed, strong shower, all spotless. The team were friendly and professional, nice atmosphere. There is some road noise but didn’t bother us much. We’d highly recommend and will definitely go to another Chickpea pub.

From the start to the finish, I was very impressed with my stay here. Attention to detail was probably the best I’ve come across for a very long time.

Great pub with a smart, clean bedroom and bathroom. Friendly staff and good food. The breakfast was excellent but an earlier start time would be useful for business travellers

If Carlsberg did small village pub/hotels this is exactly how they would be. I can’t praise it enough and I stay in 200 hotels a year. Food, room, bed, staff and the little touches all excellent! Well done!

Friendly welcome, room had everything you would need. Cookies were excellent and dog loved the treats! The little extras for humans and the dog were very much appreciated. Helpful staff and they made sure we had breakfast to go when had to leave early. Nice looking village and quiet even though on a road. Great pub / accommodation, would stay again.
