Baxter House, Wangford

The house is generously proportioned and was well positioned for our needs (funeral service in Reydon) We did find it a little cold and the ensuite toght

very nice, stairs a bit steep but stayed in August now November and still waiting for deposit to be refunded

We had a super short break in Baxter House at the end of September, and were so lucky to have good weather. There is so much space in the house - we never even used the second lounge. The house is furnished to a high standard, and was very clean. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of hot water for baths etc. It was good to have plenty of crockery and cutlery so that we could use the dishwasher once a day without running out. The village is very nice, with a well stocked shop and a pub serving food just a minute's walk away. We went into Southwold both full days for putting, crazy golf, shopping etc - it's an easy 8 minute drive. Would definitely recommend this house - and we especially loved the bagatelle!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Baxter's House. Wangford is a quaint little village and the village shop which was just around the corner was excellent. A lovely place to have the perfect English country village experience. With the church bells ringing and the hens in the allotment at the bottom of the garden.
