Stayed 1 night

My husband and I stayed for one night. It was lovely. The property is in an upscale gated community Ocean Park that is patrolled frequently. Very safe. Lots of people walking to and from the beach day and night which is a short 5 minute walk. There are scooters that you can rent on the streets if you like. A short walk to restaurants. The hotel is very chic and shabby and rustic with great vibes all around. Candles lit, incense burning. Very peaceful and relaxing. They provide beach chairs upon request and beach towels are in the room. The Duna suite we stayed in was at the front of the property. It is enclosed with iron gates and also has privacy blinds and a partition, as the large tub for two is in the front. They include a bath bomb as well which is a nice touch. Hammock and love seat out front as well. There are also resident cats that come to visit you at night and in the morning. Very sweet and affectionate. The entire area is very spacious. And be aware there are coqui’ tree frogs on the property that you do not see but hear all night as they are nocturnal. They sound like loud birds. I had ear plugs that worked just fine as I am a light sleeper. They have a kitchen where you can get limited drinks, seltzers, protein shakes and juice. They also serve breakfast and dinner, in which we did not try. This property is very unique boutique hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will stay again if ever in the area again.

Great little bohemian style hotel close to the beach and many great restaurant options! The amenities are great and they are so chill and accommodating! Definitely recommend for anyone looking to get out of the resorts and feel like a part of the city. Outdoor shower was awesome though the outdoor toilet took some getting used to! The hotel is in a gated residential area so super safe too. Will be back again for sure!

I have traveled to more than 20 countries around the world and I have never experienced something like this. Dreamcatcher is NOT a hotel. It is a poorly adapted house functioning as a cheap hostel, sold at boutique luxury prices. Calling this a “hotel” is misleading. The pictures online do not reflect reality. They create a staged, aesthetic illusion, but once you arrive, everything feels uncomfortable and improvised. The bathroom appears to be built where a parking lot used to be. The shower is outdoors with cold water. The mattress was one of the worst I have ever slept on. There is zero sense of comfort, privacy, or basic quality standards. The neighborhood does not match the boutique positioning they suggest. The entire experience feels deceptive. Customer service was equally disappointing. Staff members were evasive and unprepared, covering for each other instead of addressing clear inconsistencies and complaints. There was no accountability, no real solutions, and no transparency. The most shocking part is the price. You pay what would normally be a luxury boutique hotel rate, and what you get is a low-level hostel experience in very poor conditions. Extremely overpriced, deeply misleading, and by far one of the worst hospitality experiences I’ve ever had. I would strongly caution anyone before booking here.
