We have since reviewed the booking confirmation again, and while the wording may not have been explicit, we are certain this was not the accommodation we reserved. Second, when we asked about modifying our check-out date, we were informed there would be an additional charge due to a rate change. We understand policies may apply, but this was not clearly mentioned in the cancellation or modification terms provided at the time of booking, which made the situation frustrating.
