Truly unforgettable! This charming boutique hotel exceeded all expectations. Perched above the sea, the hotel offers breathtaking views—including a view of Positano, which looked magical lit up at night from our huge terrace. I was so glad we didn’t book in Positano itself—it felt too busy and chaotic.The photos don’t do it justice—everything has been beautifully updated and is impeccably maintained. The white walls, ceramic accents, and infinity pool overlooking the sea create a dreamy atmosphere. The pool (beautifully maintained by Andreas) was perfect after the 350-step climb to the tiny beach below—crystal clear blue water and dramatic cliffs (note: entry is by ladder or jump only!). Parking was easy at the hotel, and the bus stop out front made Amalfi and Positano easily accessible. The hotel is located right next to the charming San Gennaro Church, and the sound of the bells added to the area’s authentic Italian atmosphere. The on-site restaurant was excellent, with singing waiters and delicious food. Breakfast was included, with tasty pastries and savory Italian bites—we even received a breakfast to-go for our early flight out. Big special thanks to dear Rosa, who helped with everything from room selection to booking a 4-hour boat tour (Tip:The Amalfi Coast is best seen from the sea. You only truly appreciate its dramatic landscapes from the water!). Staff were kind and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We’ll never forget it!

Beautiful town. Great hotel. Loved the balcony. Very firm mattress...which is good for me. Walk out the front of the hotel and take the 300, or so, step staircase to a great cement "beach" complete with a ladder from the sea. Great restaurant. Rosa provided fine info.

Great hotel, amazing views. We could see Capri and the Faraglioni rocks from our balcony. The best breakfast pastries and coffee. We had a car, the hotel has a small parking lot and they squeezed it in. Very convenient location to explore the town.

Nice clean rooms with great views. Pool was even better than it looks in the pictures. Staff were very nice and helpful answering questions and arranging transportation. Bus stops in both directions are a 2min walk from the hotel. You can also walk to the beach but expect A LOT of steps. Great choice if you want to stay in Praiano as your base when visiting Amalfi coast.

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay amazing! Rosa at the front desk even helped us find parking and then moved our car immediately once a spot opened up in their lot. The views are unbelievable, the pool is fabulous, this has been one of my favorite stays by far! Best Honeymoon ever!

The property is in a great location. The room was nice but there were some problems. Our bathroom had ants and bugs everywhere, the shower would not drain the water fast enough therefore there was water all over the bathroom. We had problems with the tv not working. There were also ants by the pool so you couldn’t lay down on the lounge chairs without ants being all over you. Some of the staff were great like Rosa and Guido. Also the cleaning staff were nice. Unfortunately the pool attendant Andrea was very rude…not sure why.

To date, Hotel Pino has been the best accommodations so far in my 2-week tour of Southern Italy! The lobby, guest room, restaurant, and the pool/patio are were beautiful and spotless! The views are breathtaking and the hotel’s proximity to restaurants, shops, bus stop, etc in this beautiful enclave of Praiano is a bonus. The complimentary breakfast was great - with so many tasty selections of local fare! Now for the best part…the staff here was exceptional and treated me like royalty. Most noteworthy was Rosa, who was able to help me with every question I had and provide guidance for an optimum stay! She was simply amazing and I hope this property compensates her well! The pool staff (Vincenzo), the breakfast staff and even the housekeepers were so pleasant and helpful. A first class operation! Thank you Hotel Pino for a wonderful stay!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! I cannot recommend this hotel enough. They were very kind and friendly, reached out before we arrived and were accommodating. Rosa was very helpful, they give you tips for getting around, restaurants, we felt ver y comfortable. Amazing location that’s serene but close to everything.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Il Pino and felt truly welcome throughout our visit. The staff were all friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. The service was excellent, and everything was spotlessly clean and well maintained. Highly recommended!

My stay at Hotel II Pino was just what the doctor order. A nice, clean, comfortable stay with amazing views. Only slight niggle would be that my room was next to reception room / cleaning store so was a little noisey at times. Great pool area with beautiful views and breakfast was lovely and fresh, especially the homemade lemon cake... 😋. The famous restaurant attached to the hotel had a lovely, authentic italian feel with great food. As a solo traveller and on somewhat of budget, the location was ideal. Easy access to Amalfi and Positano. Although it was very busy due to peak season. All the staff were amazing, friendly, engaging and Rosa and Vincenzo on reception could not more helpful. From helping me with transfers, last minute tickets for mount vesuvius climb, to bus tickets and food recommendations. All in all a great place to stay and I hope to return in the future.

Hotel Pino was exceptional for a 3 star hotel. From the moment we arrived Tosa greeted us with a smile and insisted on helping with the luggage. The hotel has 17 rooms and you are a person and not a number. The room was small but our balcony and view was the most amazing ever. There are no words to describe the magnificent view of the ocean and mountains. A beautiful pool and terrace added an extra place to enjoy the ambience. We only booked 2 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for our memories and first impressions of the Amalfi Coast.

Perfect quaint hotel. Traditional but felt modern. Very clean. Great views. Although the pool was receiving a fresh coat of paint everything was great. They keep the property well maintained. Breakfast was delicious. We love Rosa!

We had an amazing time at Hotel Il Pino! The room and hotel were very clean, the front desk staff was helpful with their local tips, the pool staff kept us having so much fun and the breakfast was one of the best we had on our entire Italy trip. The views from the hotel were breath-taking and the location makes it the perfect spot to be able to walk to shops and restaurants in Praiano. It is also a ~4 minute walk to the bus stop that takes you to other nearby towns. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking in Praiano or th surrounding areas!

She booked a ride from Naples to the hotel and from the hotel to Salerno train station for a continuation of our trip to Florence. The company they used had an amazing driver named Edwardo, who was a great driver along the Amalfi Coast’s narrow and winding road. You can take a bus for a day trip to Positano and then a ferry to Capri. That was enjoyable. The hotel room was fine but the mattress was a little hard for my taste. The shower stall is very small. Besides those couple things, it was a nice stay.

Great hotel, amazing views. We could see Capri and the Faraglioni rocks from our balcony. The best breakfast pastries and coffee. We had a car, the hotel has a small parking lot and they squeezed it in. Very convenient location to explore the town.

This place is amazing. We enjoyed it so very much. Everything was perfect. Andrea at the fron office was very welcoming as was the rest of the staff. The room was fantastic. Clean, comfortable beds, big bathroom with great showers. The view from the room was spectacular, as the vew was from everywhere in the hotel. The pool was great to swim in and the beds perfect to sunbath on. The breakfast was amazingly good. It had everything you could want and more. Bacon and eggs, may sorts of coffee and tea, pancakes, doughnuts, croissants, bread, nutella, jam, ham, cheese, tomatoes, fruits, yoghurt and more. Thank you for the most wonderful stay.

My stay at Hotel II Pino was just what the doctor order. A nice, clean, comfortable stay with amazing views. Only slight niggle would be that my room was next to reception room / cleaning store so was a little noisey at times. Great pool area with beautiful views and breakfast was lovely and fresh, especially the homemade lemon cake... 😋. The famous restaurant attached to the hotel had a lovely, authentic italian feel with great food. As a solo traveller and on somewhat of budget, the location was ideal. Easy access to Amalfi and Positano. Although it was very busy due to peak season. All the staff were amazing, friendly, engaging and Rosa and Vincenzo on reception could not more helpful. From helping me with transfers, last minute tickets for mount vesuvius climb, to bus tickets and food recommendations. All in all a great place to stay and I hope to return in the future.

We stayed for 3 nights in this beautiful hotel during our visit to the Amalfi Coast. The room had a large terrace with stunning views across the sea to Positano and Capri in the background. These views are also enjoyed from the restaurant, breakfast room and swimming pool. Every member of staff were very helpful and friendly. We would definately recommend this hotel.

Hotel Pino was exceptional for a 3 star hotel. From the moment we arrived Tosa greeted us with a smile and insisted on helping with the luggage. The hotel has 17 rooms and you are a person and not a number. The room was small but our balcony and view was the most amazing ever. There are no words to describe the magnificent view of the ocean and mountains. A beautiful pool and terrace added an extra place to enjoy the ambience. We only booked 2 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for our memories and first impressions of the Amalfi Coast.

This place is in Priano. 10 mins away from postiano and in the opposite direction is almafi, also being 110-15mins away on bus. Staff was nice and room was clean. The room is a bit small but it fit 3 of us comfortably. The balcony view of the ocean was beautiful. The breakfast is pretty basic so if you have a big appetite in the morning, then i suggest eating breakfast somewhere else. overall, great place to stay.

This hotel is truly a gem; from the beautiful views, to the truly exceptional customer service at the front desk, restaurant, and pool area. The property is stunning, clean, and has everything you need. I am going to start by highlighting Rosa, who was responsive to my every message weeks before my trip. She arranged all of my transportation to and from Naples, suggested activities, and gave us the most heartwarming welcome when we arrived. Her smile and amazing personality are a treasure. I am going to continue by highlighting Antonio at the restaurant; I can still hear him singing to us, his contagious smile and wonderful spirit made us come back to the restaurant every single night we were there. We chose no other restaurant and looked forward to his heartwarming welcome every single night. Sending him warm hugs from South Florida. From the moment be booked til the end of our amazing 6 day vacation we felt lots of support and great communication. The staff go above and beyond and met our every need at all times. Even before we would ask, it felt like they already knew how to make things even more special! I can’t say enough great things about this hotel/staff and location. Don’t 2nd guess, book your stay here! It’s perfectly situated between positano and amalfi coast making it ideal spot for the less crowded area but close enough to explore and enjoy all the surrounding areas. The hotel, view and pool area are beautiful. Rosa helped us set up a private driver to and from our hotel and helped us book a scooter rental for most of our days while there. It was so great to have help with dining, excursion/exploring ideas and also would help book these for us. Breakfast was amazing every morning and they even remembered what type of juice and coffee we liked, it would be ready at our table for us by the time we sat down. The pool guy was awesome and made us feel like we were at home.. amazing pool/bar area, super fun and played music we liked. The restaurant for dinner was absolutely delicious (awesome wine selection) the atmosphere was out of this world at dinner. It felt so warm, inviting.. like family. We truly are so grateful for all the love, attention and the care in every detail you gave us in all areas. We can’t thank you all enough for such an amazing and beautiful experience! The property is in a great location. The room was nice but there were some problems. Our bathroom had ants and bugs everywhere, the shower would not drain the water fast enough therefore there was water all over the bathroom. We had problems with the tv not working. There were also ants by the pool so you couldn’t lay down on the lounge chairs without ants being all over you. Some of the staff were great like Rosa and Guido. Also the cleaning staff were nice. Unfortunately the pool attendant Andrea was very rude…not sure why.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! I cannot recommend this hotel enough. They were very kind and friendly, reached out before we arrived and were accommodating. What an excellent hotel. It's immaculatley clean, beautiful, and very comfortable. The staff is superb. They patiently answered all our questions, helped arrange transportation, amd were welcoming amd warm. The restaurant is exceptional amd has amazing views of the water. Its located conveniently between Amalfi and Positano, but has none of the crowds. Praiano itself is charming and the bistro across the street from Il Pino is superb. Couldnt ask for better, IMHO.

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay amazing! Rosa at the front desk even helped us find parking and then moved our car immediately once a spot opened up in their lot. The views are unbelievable, the pool is fabulous, this has been one of my favorite stays by far! Best Honeymoon ever!

Me and my husband have just returned from 3 nights here and the hotel was absolutely perfect for us. Firstly, the location is great, I would highly recommend Praiano to stay for visiting the Amalfi coast as it's inbetween Positano (20 mins) and Amalfi (25 mins) but so so so much quieter - and still with plenty of restaurants to be able to eat out at a different place for at least a week. The hotel itself has stunning views, is so clean and light, has everything you need. The room is cleaned every day. It was a small hotel, so felt very personal. We were in the Atrani room, which was a superior double room with balcony and sea view. Breakfast options are great and for evening meals you can watch the sun go down in the restaurant next door. The food was outstanding, my husband and I shared the caprese and the eggplant parmagiamo, which were both delicious. For our mains I had the sea bass and my husband had the steak, once again perfectly cooked. In the hotel, Rosa in particular was so helpful, even from before we arrived she booked in our transfer from Pompeii to the hotel (€130), and also from hotel to Naples airport (€150) on our return. She booked us into the restaurant, helped us with buses, and booked us a water taxi from Praiano to Positano (€50) within the space of half an hour - just had to walk down the 400 steps to the jetty, which in itself was beautiful. They gave us takeaway brekkie on last day. A memorable 40th birthday trip! Highly recommend.

Amazing place to stay, the staff were very welcoming and very helpful! The hotel itself is on the main road which is really convenient as you don’t have to walk up and down a lot of stairs. The bus stop to Positano is right infront of the hotel and we visited positano twice so transportation was easy. The views are absolutely insane and the restaurant at the hotel was delicious. this hotel was beyond our expectations. Clean and nice rooms with an unbeatable view of the sea. rather small breakfast buffet but suited us perfectly. the pool area was cozy with nice staff the hotel also had a typical Italian restaurant with a singing waiter and a magical view of the sea. Great hotel, amazing views. We could see Capri and the Faraglioni rocks from our balcony. The best breakfast pastries and coffee. We had a car, the hotel has a small parking lot and they squeezed it in. Very convenient location to explore the town.

What an excellent hotel. It's immaculatley clean, beautiful, and very comfortable. The staff is superb. They patiently answered all our questions, helped arrange transportation, amd were welcoming amd warm. The restaurant is exceptional amd has amazing views of the water. Its located conveniently between Amalfi and Positano, but has none of the crowds. Praiano itself is charming and the bistro across the street from Il Pino is superb. Couldnt ask for better, IMHO.

This place is amazing. We enjoyed it so very much. Everything was perfect. Andrea at the fron office was very welcoming as was the rest of the staff. The room was fantastic. Clean, comfortable beds, big bathroom with great showers. The view from the room was spectacular, as the vew was from everywhere in the hotel. The pool was great to swim in and the beds perfect to sunbath on. The breakfast was amazingly good. It had everything you could want and more. Bacon and eggs, may sorts of coffee and tea, pancakes, doughnuts, croissants, bread, nutella, jam, ham, cheese, tomatoes, fruits, yoghurt and more. Thank you for the most wonderful stay.

We LOVED our stay here. The view from the rooms was spectacular. Having drinks by the pool was relaxing and fun. The restaurant was fabulous. The food was great and the atmosphere was so friendly that we ate there 3 nights of our 4 night stay. The breakfast spread in the morning was also great. So much food - not what you expect in Italy. And it’s included! But the absolute best part of our stay was the staff, particularly Rosa. They helped us with all our excursions and made our time there so carefree and fun. They gave us the excellent hints and suggested the perfect itinerary for Capri and Ana Capri. They got us to Positano by water taxi. And they scheduled a fantastic boat tour (when I tried to do it myself, everything said it was sold out). They even provided a bagged breakfast for the day we left because our ride came so early in the morning. They answered all our questions and were very friendly. I highly recommend!!

This place is in Priano. 10 mins away from postiano and in the opposite direction is almafi, also being 110-15mins away on bus. Staff was nice and room was clean. The room is a bit small but it fit 3 of us comfortably. The balcony view of the ocean was beautiful. The breakfast is pretty basic so if you have a big appetite in the morning, then i suggest eating breakfast somewhere else. overall, great place to stay.

We loved this boutique hotel! Such a great and friendly staff from the front desk, to manager, to dinning and the pool side bartender and the cleaning staff. A great location in Priano with great bus service and walkable to the Path of the Gods trailhead.

O Hotel Il Pino é um lugar realmente especial, com uma atmosfera muito agradável e um atendimento que faz toda a diferença na experiência. Destaque especial para a Rosa, na recepção, sempre muito atenciosa, simpática, prestativa e disponível para ajudar em tudo o que fosse necessário. O Guido também merece elogios pela cordialidade, atenção e eficiência. A estadia foi excelente, em um ambiente acolhedor e muito agradável. Como pequeno ponto de atenção, a acústica entre alguns quartos poderia ser um pouco melhor, mas isso acaba ficando em segundo plano diante de todas as demais qualidades do hotel. Foi uma experiência muito positiva e certamente voltaria a me hospedar no Il Pino.

The view from this hotel is absolutely breathtaking, from Positano to Capri and the sun setting behind the mountains between them. Praiano is a lovely town, smaller and quieter than Positano or Amalfi but easy access by bus to either one. But it’s the staff at Il Pino who are the real story, and who helped make this the most magical leg of our trip through Italy. From the beginning Mario was very helpful in arranging transportation and answering all our questions. Rosa was a delight to talk with and helped us plan and navigate our trips around the Amalfi coast. Andrea kept the pool area clean and inviting, and Guido managed a beautiful and delicious breakfast every morning. The air conditioning was by far the best out of the 4 cities we stayed in, which was critical in this heatwave summer. And the restaurant and its staff was fantastic as well - separate review coming for them! If we return to the Amalfi coast we wouldn’t look for any other hotel than Il Pino.
