The property was exactly as expected. It is a motel. Very clean outside and in. We stayed two nights for less than one night in a hotel 45 minutes in the wrong direction of the events we attended. We stayed here because I had procrastinated booking and with it being graduation weekend it truly was one of the only places available. The A/C was fantastic! We did turn it off when we went out for the day because when we checked in it literally only took a few minutes to chill the room. Go in expecting dated but clean and you won’t be disappointed.

We had a nice stay at the Deep Well Motel. A very pleasant woman checked us into Room 7. The motel is older, but well maintained. The room was spacious, with a relatively new mini-fridge & microwave. The beds were firm but in good condition. Linen was crisp & fresh. The bathroom had been modernized with tile, pedestal sink & shower enclosure. Wifi was good; we didn't use the TV. Checkout was early--10am. We were able to unload & load our stuff at the door of the room and then park about 20 feet away. We would definitely stay at this motel again in the future.

We needed a room in the area for 4 people - 2 adults and 2 kids. Our double bed room was perfect. It was clean, smelled decent and fit our purpose. The shower was hot and worked well, the beds were comfortable and check in was easy. This is not a luxury hotel but if you need a clean safe place to stay then I would recommend this motel

No breakfast, the AC labored away and couldnt get the room cool until the outside temperature fell. No writing table in the room. Room is close to the road, so you hear when trucks roar by.

I booked a king room, got a double room; quite clean inside and tidy outside; they need to install DEAD BOLTS on the door--just a flimsy knob lock made me feel somewhat insecure; air conditioning didn't work properly--would cycle off and not come back on even though I had it on HIGH as we had record high temps in the 90s and very high humidity; I returned from a concert nearby at 9:30 pm to the a/c snafu and left without bringing this to the attention of the front desk and found a suitable room elsewhere--I was disgusted and cranky and just wanted to get out of there vs risking changing rooms and still end up with inadequate a/c. The only thing I used in the room was the bathroom sink to wash my face--I was hoping that management would see the note I left as to the faulty a/c and not charge me the full $80; I was wrong. The office worker is behind a huge panel of plexiglass with a small hole on the bottom to sign paperwork, etc.--hard to hear or deal effectively through that.

The motel was the cheapest in the immediate area so it is as much a run down motel that I expected. The worst thing was the mattress, very hard, between the hardest mattresses we've slept on at a couple casinos and a board. NO bed bugs though!

Nice stay. No frills but adequate. Bed was comfortable. Temperature in the room was perfect. Service great (we asked for more towels). The room was spacious with plenty of space to put luggage. Clean but it coul use some touch up with paint in the bathroom. Convenient location. Would stay here again.

This was definitely no frills (no coffee, hair dryer, etc.), but clean and comfortable enough for the price. This vintage hotel could use an update, but they do work to keep it clean and comfortable. The room does have a fridge, microwave and new air conditioner. It’s not fancy, but worked for us. We would stay again.

Pleasant spot on the old road at the edge of town. About as bare-bones as you can get—all you get in the bathroom is soap, no shampoo. But everything worked fine. Bumped up a star because friendly owner lent me a phone charger after I forgot mine.

I've read the reviews and people need to understand, this is an older property. If you want Hampton Inn or Courtyard, please go there and pay 2 or 3 times more. I just got done driving 500 miles and a quiet little old school motel on the outskirts of a quaint town is all I need. Lots of good restaurants and historical sites nearby. Owner/manager is nice and helped me figure out how to get the cable set up how I want it. I'd stay here again.

Everyone wants to save money so this is the place to do that. We stayed for 2 nights at the Deep Well Motel, and were pleasantly surprised. It’s old, but renovated. No free breakfast. But if you just need a place to shower and sleep, stay at this motel. It’s clean and comfortable enough for a good nights sleep. The mini fridge and microwave were a plus. Good water pressure in the shower. The staff are polite and hospitable. You can feel their goal is for you to be happy staying in their motel. Do NOT expect much and you will be pleased. As long as they keep their prices low, maintain the cleanliness of the place, their vacancy will stay full with people returning over and over again!

We've stayed in this little traditional motel a few times in recent years. It's reasonably priced, in a quiet and safe area. We were checked quickly in by a very pleasant young lady. On this particular visit we noticed a number of improvements, including wonderfully comfortable beds and upgraded room fridges. Easy parking by the room's door. Wifi is excellent. We didn't use the TV. Our 2-night stay was pleasant and enjoyable. We'll be back.

It is located near town and the popular bar with electronic Gulf that uses what was a train station.The beds are firm but not uncomfortable,sheets were clean and matress incased in plastic.The attendant is friendly and efficient check in .Now the bad stuff,not enough hot water to take a shower, carpeting I wouldn’t walk on it even in socks ,chair same wouldn’t sit on that mess ,wall of bed small holes from something mounted there at one time,room needs painting.I wiped all the drawers with Clorox wipes before putting anything in there and handles.No hangers in space for clothes.no chain on door put chair there.AC good and filter clean that was a surprise.Toilet clean and plastic shower clean but couldn’t use even at 10:00 PM when use would be low I would think.But it got me where I needed to be to see Big Boy 1401 so it served it purpose.Should have been less than $1112 I was charged I see it now for$60

Older motel that is well maintained. Room and bathroom are good-sized and not cramped like many other older establishments we've stayed in. Just outside Owego and a quiet place to sleep. Nice shower and the bathroom fixtures were relatively new. Would stay again.
