Cabinas y Hotel Vista al Golfo

This place was a hidden treasure. We had a private room with bathroom but some rooms shared a bathroom. Very clean. Shared kitchen area was great to cook or just hang out and eat. Other guests were very friendly. The included breakfast was amazing. Scrambled eggs and fruit one day and pancakes and fruit the other day with coffee, tea and juice. Very close to town. Walkable to lots of restaurants. We toured the orchid garden in town which was nice. Hiked the Santa Elena Reserve. Visited the Ficus root bridge in town. On our way to Monte Verde we toured Monte Verde Coffee plantation.

Short walking distance to downtown...but Santa Elena is very hilly, so you'll earn your dinner. :-)

very convenient location, walkable to central. helpful staff, loved the detail explanation on getting a bus, cost, etc. Nice breakfast, great view. very clean and nice. Highly recommend it

Ro was very welcoming and friendly and helped us settle in. Good value for money and plenty of available parking. Room was spacious and the property had good views. Breakfast was average and maybe could start a bit earlier (6:30am instead of 7am) as we found tours start at 7/7:30am.
