Parking was safe. Room was extremely clean. Only complaint I would have is the pillows. They were flat and not enough of them on the bed. Full size refrigerator/freezer was certainly a plus and a surprise. Definitely a great place to stay!

Rooms are always clean. I didn't like that they charge additional 20.00 dollars per pet per day. There breakfast looks old and stale. The remote for the tv didn’t work. The lady come from the front desk and got a nee remote from a different room. The dish tv did not work.

Parking was well lit, property staff was professional and courteous. The window locks were disabled in the room I stayed in and thebstaff made immediate note for repairs and thanked me for the information. Nice place to stay. Continental breakfast was standard and fresh.

There is a fee for service dogs. Never had a hotel charge for our service dog before this. The hotel is near a railway and several trains passed through the night waking us.

The inn staff is delightful and easy to work with. We have stayed here several times while in the area and love it so much we won't stay anywhere else. Super clean with washer/dryer on the property; no need to worry with change as staff can turn your cash into quarters.

Upon checking in I had to pay extra for my dog and that was fine but they refused to let me put it on my card and made me pay cash for it. The room was not very clean. The bedding was stained, the floor was not been sweep or mopped.

Was in town for a fishing trip with my kayak. Parking was a limited Friday night and Saturday night so finding a spot for my boat trailer was hard, but not impossible.. The staff accommodated my need for a first floor room and that was awesome. I will be back and will stay at this motel.

This is an inexpensive motel. We stayed here for the night before a cruise. Very pleased with the cleanliness and excellent condition the room was in. Breakfast is very simple - cereal and waffles. It is a great overnight stay before a cruise.

Not a fan of bullet-proof glass between the customer and staff, I guess there’s a reason? Room was very nice and clean…even provided toothbrushes. Property was very quiet during the night. In the morning it was a different story. We learned how thin the walls were around 7am with people up and moving around in other rooms. Oh, and the train. Didn’t come by very much, but the horn and engine woke us up. Suggestions for property: 1. Ceiling fan is a wonderful amenity, but it only works when light is on. Maybe fix that. 2. Put a hook outside the shower. There’s nowhere to hand the towel or clothing. 3. Maybe a designated place for motorcycles to park that’s not right in front of rooms, if possible.

I had a great time at the Scottish Inn. No issues at all. WiFi was fast. Staff was very kind and polite. All good things to say about this location. I’ll definitely book again next time I’m in the area! Great jobs guys :)

The property was pretty clean and so was the room. However there was a smell of weed and cigarettes in the room we stayed. The light was out in the restroom as well. There was no elevator and we had to drag our suitcase up the stairs. The walls are thin and I could hear the neighbors plus the train in the middle of the night. The price reflected the stay.

the guy at the front desk was very rude. they also had poor service I had an emergency I tried to go the office and no one was there I hit tit doorbell button got no response. the next morning I went to get breakfast and no breakfast was available although it clearly says breakfast served from 7am to 10am. I was very disappointed in my stay and would like to be refunded or maybe given a room somewhere else.

The motel was clean & staff was friendly & accommodating. The room was clean. My only complaint is the lack of “free breakfast” as stated in the amenities. Sign on the lobby wall read Breakfast served from 6am to 9am. At 6am, the lobby door was still locked & no food was put out. I rang the attendant doorbell & was told breakfast hours were 7am to 10am. When I returned at 7am, lobby door was still locked & no food was put out. Other than the lack of free breakfast, my stay was good.

The breakfast buffet had very little and was not stocked for what they did have. The washing machine was broken. The room was clean. The bed was OK. You only get one tiny bar of soap.

This is an inexpensive motel. We stayed here for the night before a cruise. Very pleased with the cleanliness and excellent condition the room was in. Breakfast is very simple - cereal and waffles. It is a great overnight stay before a cruise.

We booked a room with a king bed, and we were offered a room with two queen beds and a kitchenette when I went to check in. The room looked decent. The bed we slept in was very firm. I realize people have varying preferences in this area, but I wasn't comfortable. The breakfast choices were very limited; coffee, packaged muffins, cereal, and make your own waffles (with syrup, but no butter/margarine) We will definitely return to Galveston County. However, we WILL NOT stay there again!

Nous étions là de passage donc cela nous a suffit. Le petit déjeuner est très limité et la salle vraiment toute petite (seulement 4 places assises). La chambre a été rénové. Elle était confortable. Nous n'avons pas réussi à utiliser la TV. Cuisine agréable. Par contre, trous de cigarettes dans les draps et couvertures

Breakfast included was a few hostess items, coffee, and cereal. The door did not bolt, the hair dryer was melted, the towels had brown stains on them, the comforter had burn holes on it, and there was a roach crawling on the wall in the shower.

My stay here could have definitely been better! There was no breakfast other than cereal, oatmeal and yogurt. Also, the water pressure for the shower was terrible! There were some lights in the room that didn't work, and the ice machine was not working! I think my next stay in Galveston will be at a different hotel. Thanks, but no thanks.
