Perfect location in Whistler, just behind the Olympic Plaza and the start of the stroll through all the Whistler Village shops, past the stream and nearby to restaurants, cafes and even fresh food for using the units kitchen. Very central and easy to head out for nature walks to either the Lost Lake or a quick drive to Brandywine Falls and the Train Wreck. The unit had all the necessities I needed for my 4 night stay - comfortable bed, kitchen facility, lounge and small balcony. I could enjoy the evening music and movies playing in the Olympic Plaza right from the balcony.

The room was ok for the price. Check in process is horrible and so is check out. Too many instructions and not worth the hassle. Room had uncleaned coffee machine and water kettle. No microwave provided, which would have been a huge plus instead of provided utensils which are not going to use anyways.

Our unit was clean, and adequately ( but not amply) supplied. The kitchen supplies and furniture met our basic needs, but the mattresses have seen better days. This unit, and it's parking stall, were nice and close to the elevator, but do not count on being able to park a full-size truck in the stall if the neighbour is home. Access to the unit and stay instructions were well communicated. I would stay at this unit again, but would also probably bring additional camping mattresses for a better nights sleep.

PARKING IS A $&@%* JOKE. Everything about this place was OK except the parking. Which was such a joke that we will never book here again. There is, at best, 3 inches between your car and the car next to you. There's absolutely no chance of you opening your door if there's a car parked next to yours. It is unbelievable that the country of Canada allowed this parking garage to be built. Even in America where you can cheat the system wouldn't allow a parking garage like this to be built. It took two people to park the car. And everyone we talked to in the garage, commiserated about the ridiculousness of it. And we all couldn't believe this was allowed. If you were only coming and going one time. Perhaps it's not a big deal. But we were headed out every morning to trailhead for adventure, and pulling in and out of the space was an ordeal every time.

My family and I spent a weekend at this lodge. Unfortunately, our stay was affected by ongoing renovation work near our room. The hallways were messy, and a large industrial fan was placed in the corridor and ran throughout the night. The noise was quite loud and could be clearly heard inside our room even with the door closed. The room also had poor ventilation. Neither the sink nor the bathtub had drain stoppers, which made it easy for small items such as rings or jewelry to fall down the drain and be lost. In addition, the lock on the balcony door did not feel very secure, which raised some safety concerns. They have free underground parking.
