So grateful for the instructions to find parking beforehand! Nice location. A little noisy from nearby bars but nothing too crazy. If you travel with a-lot of luggage look elsewhere as there’s no elevator and plenty of stairs. Highly recommend!

This is a very small property in a 700 year old building. That being said, my wife and I had a nice stay. It is located conveniently in the Latin Quarter—right in the middle of shops, bars, restaurants, etc. It is easily walkable. There is no elevator and the stairs are steep. My wife and I are in our 60s so this presented a bit of a challenge, but the young lady who was present offered to help. We declined, but appreciated her willingness. The room we had (Shakespeare) was small but comfortable. The bed is comfortable. The air conditioning worked but could not be adjusted. The bathroom is tiny, but workable. We had breakfast included which was continental style. It met our needs each day just fine. While not a five star mega hotel chain, the experience was fun and the location couldn’t be beat.

A splendid step back into Galway’s past in this boutique hotel situated in a medieval townhouse steps from the bustle of Quay Street. Our tiny but cozy room was on the third floor — and please note, if you have any kind of mobility issue, this is NOT the lodging for you, looking out on Cross Street (with some attendant noise at night) — but the emphasis here is on “cozy”, because it was comfortable and well-appointed. The staff were uniformly lovely, the included Continental breakfast very good, and the location can’t be beat for its proximity to the pubs and restaurants of Quay Street and environs. We love Galway for its music and history, and 7 Cross Boutique Hotel puts you right in the center of everything and makes you feel at home. Parking is discounted at the Spanish Arch car park about a four minute walk away. We would gladly stay here again on a future trip, daunting stairs notwithstanding.

Perfect property in the heart of the Latin Quarter. There is no elevator given the age of the building so be beware of that. The noise of the nightlife did not bother me but my wife did end up using the complimentary earplugs the hotel provides. For the location, it cannot be beat.

Hotel is right in the heart of the action in Galway. Excellent music in the bar next door although the music was quite loud in the room also. The hotel provided ear plugs so it didn't really bother us. Hotel is a very old 600 year old building with no lift, steep/narrow stairs so carrying luggage was challenging. The room was very small. The car park at the Spanish Arch has extremely small parking spaces and was daunting to navigate, for a westerner. Unfortunstely missed our first night at the hotel due to a plane delay and couldn't get a refund.

Lovely little hotel albeit very small and noise can be a factor. They do give you ear plugs to mitigate. The windows were hard to open and close. Can't beat the location - right in the heart of the Latin Quarter in Galway.

The location was great right in the middle of everything and we didnt experience any issues with noise considering been in the busiest area. Bed was very comfortable and plenty room under bed for storage. Only issue was shower pressure which was v poor but plenty of hot water. Breakfast was lovely, plenty of fresh fruit and greek yogurt among everything else. Parking was v close and 24 euro for 2nights even tho hotels.com did advertise free garage parking on their site which was one of the reasons we booked it!! All in all a very pleasant stay and we would stay here again.

Included breakfast was fresh and delicious, staff was very welcoming. Right on pedestrian street with restaurants, bars, music - we enjoyed the proximity and walkability but some may find loud for sleeping.

I read lots of previous reviews from others complaining about the noise at night, but it did not bother us and wasn’t extreme. If you want a quiet place with no noise, you shouldn’t be staying in the heart of this entertainment district/neighborhood in the first place. Rooms and hotel were very clean, and nice free breakfast. Rooms were a little small, but to be expected in a historic 600 year old hotel in a historic fun vibrant area. Highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a place to stay in the heart of Galway.

Very clean and tidy rooms small but have everything you need staff very good and friendly. Nice continental breakfast, only thing bad was too noisy a Bar across from you and couple of other Bars in the street music playing until 2 in the morning plus noisier after closing time. Great place for young people who party.

Clean, central and historic location. Also tiny - like tiny-tiny - room and bathroom. People upstairs sound like they’re in the room with clogs on. Just be prepared. I don’t know how more than one person could fit, never mind with luggage. Again though, great location and super clean.

Loud music from 2300-0200 on a Tuesday. They said this in the advertisement, but it was really loud. Then other hotel people were mad and slamming doors. There should be a way to speak to the city and not have late music during the week at least. Room seemed clean but by friend said there was hair on her sheets. It’s fine if you don’t mind staying up late. Convenient location, close to parking and city center.

The hotel is very old and has a lot of character. The rooms have been recently updated so everyone is clean and in good condition. The room itself is very small and hard to move. The sink has separated spigots fur hot and cold water which is a little frustrating but not terrible. What is super frustrating is the shower water pressure. I had trouble getting tinsed off.

7 Cross Street is right in the heart of the Latin Quarter in Galway making it a fun (although noisy) and very walkable place to stay. The breakfast was great and the staff was friendly, though sometimes hard to locate. The building is old and our room was very small, but they provide interesting historical information for the building.

Very nice place. The room was clean and comfortable. The room was a little small for us tho. We had a hard time moving around and the bathroom shower was extremely small. I also wish there had been an elevator as we stayed in the 3rd floor and had a lot of luggage. But the staff was very nice and helpful.

This is a very small property in a 700 year old building. That being said, my wife and I had a nice stay. It is located conveniently in the Latin Quarter—right in the middle of shops, bars, restaurants, etc. It is easily walkable. There is no elevator and the stairs are steep. My wife and I are in our 60s so this presented a bit of a challenge, but the young lady who was present offered to help. We declined, but appreciated her willingness. The room we had (Shakespeare) was small but comfortable. The bed is comfortable. The air conditioning worked but could not be adjusted. The bathroom is tiny, but workable. We had breakfast included which was continental style. It met our needs each day just fine. While not a five star mega hotel chain, the experience was fun and the location couldn’t be beat.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in this delightful hotel. Our room was compact in size but more than adequate for our three night stay. The hotel staff member was very pleasant, made us feel most welcome and prepared a lovely continental breakfast for us. We would definitely return to this hotel

Vi skulle skifte værelse efter 1 overnatning, da der kom VVS. Det var ok, men vi forventede at komme på lignende værelse. If you want a quiet place with no noise, you shouldn’t be staying in the heart of this entertainment district/neighborhood in the first place. Hotel is right in the heart of the action in Galway. Excellent music in the bar next door although the music was quite loud in the room also. The hotel provided ear plugs so it didn't really bother us. Hotel is a very old 600 year old building with no lift, steep/narrow stairs so carrying luggage was challenging. The room was very small. The car park at the Spanish Arch has extremely small parking spaces and was daunting to navigate, for a westerner. Unfortunstely missed our first night at the hotel due to a plane delay and couldn't get a refund.

Bed was very comfortable and plenty room under bed for storage. Only issue was shower pressure which was v poor but plenty of hot water. Breakfast was lovely, plenty of fresh fruit and greek yogurt among everything else. Parking was v close and 24 euro for 2nights even tho hotels.com did advertise free garage parking on their site which was one of the reasons we booked it!! All in all a very pleasant stay and we would stay here again.

We were on the top floor which meant carrying luggage up 3 flights of very narrow stairs, staff assisted - historical building, no elevator. Once moved in we enjoyed the stay! Included breakfast was fresh and delicious, staff was very welcoming. Right on pedestrian street with restaurants, bars, music - we enjoyed the proximity and walkability but some may find loud for sleeping.

Lovely old building with Latin Quarter literally on the doorstep. We had some reservations about noise and room size, having checked the usual review sites. But our room (overlooking Cross Street) had secondary glazing so the complimentary earplugs were not needed. The room was compact, but absolutely fine (my husband is 6'3" and he had no complaints), and was equipped with everything needed. It was thoughtfully laid out, spotlessly clean, comfortable, and attractively decorated. The hosts were friendly and helpful and the continental breakfast buffet was varied and more than sufficient to fuel us up for the day. There was a dear little book on each breakfast table, with a history of the building, which was a lovely touch. A few more plug sockets would be useful, but I guess our medieval ancestors didn't have so many devices to charge :) Would not hesitate to stay again.

Room we were stuck in was the size of a Harry Potter Closet room. The bathroom was misery personified. Mold/mildew in the shower. No room whatsoever in the bathroom. From the toilet to the wall is a tiny little gap. I will whole heartedly admit I'm thick still doesn't change the geometry. Nonetheless; I feel ripped off. We booked and paid for two nights. Stayed one, left our keys at the reception desk at 11am the morning of the next and called for some sort of refund. They did return half of my 2nd night. Which I know they didn't have to do, but they should have done more. Don't let the pics fool you. What a shame.
