House was rundown lots of work required to bring it to a standard advertised as four star accommodation it had strained furniture fabrics where dogs had been sat on chairs very unclean not value for money it took two day's of are holiday to get to clean to a standard you could live with as it was high season and there was no other accommodation available after travelling 230 miles to get there

The accommodation had a nice layout and felt quite spacious for 4 people, the beds were comfortable. The property felt bright and airy. The decor was good and modern. We did have a few issues which got resolved after some time. The location of the property is ok but being closer to amenities or nature would be better.

Excellent accommodation. Disappointed no fan! - considering weather/heat should have been told. Appreciated plenty of clean bedding and towels

Bay Retreat villas was the perfect base for exploring Padstow and the seven bays, it’s ideally located for getting to all the local amenities. Padstow is 10 minutes away, and there are several beaches (with cafes and parking) 5 minutes drive away. The apartment itself was perfect for usand our two small dogs. It was modern and very clean. The secure garden was a godsend and we made use of local dog sitters so we could get out and about without taking them. We locked ourselves out once and someone appeared within minutes to let us back in, as they lived on site. (Thanks Steve!) we found the entire area fantastic, there’s a shop,pubs, petrol garage, few takeaways and great coffee in St Merryn, a few minutes drive. The only thing we have to say negative is that we wished we had booked for longer! We hope you enjoy your stay here as much as we did.
