We had one of the upper floor rooms for the duration of our stay. When I opened the door, the room was oven hot (arrived 6pm Aug 17), so I rushed to open the windows. Quite surprisingly, there was access to the balcony. The wide back windows was overlooking a dog run, which is convenient for pet owners. I went to the bathroom to open up the window there, and noticed how clean and spacious it was. Before running the A/C full blast, I checked the filter - clean as a whistle! Anyhow, A/C unit was noisy, but worked well. The beds and linen was fresh and smelled clean. It was comfortable, too. Rivals, if not better than, most 4 star hotel chains. I am a light sleeper and I slept well as it was quiet. The light outside came through the thick curtains, so wasn't totally dark. All in all, it is one of the best value hotel deals I've had, other than the free ones. Only complaint was the vending machine: $4.24 for canned soda

My stay at Best way Inn was awesome. The guy who manages the place was very friendly and helpful when i had questions. The pool area is really awesome, in a secluded area. The housekeeping was very nice and helpful as well. This stay was an all around great experience, i will deffinately be coming back.

This was the worst hotel I've ever been in in my entire life. It was disgusting, filthy, and flat out unsafe. There was no lock. There was not a single item in that room that was not covered in some sort of bodily fluid stain. Blood on the blankets and pillows. Stains all over the sheets. Disgustingly filthy couch covered in what only could be semen. My daughters and I lasted 30 minutes.

There was mold in the refrigerator, so we could not use it. We could not use the ceiling fan as there was about 1/2 inch of dust on it. The carpet was dirty and extremely stained. At 5 am the smoke detector started beeping continuously every 5 minutes. There was an enormous spider in the bathroom. There was an enormous hole in the “carpet” on the balcony that exposed worn wood underneath.

I showed up right at 3 to get into my room as check in time is 3. The guy at the register said my room was ready, went in the bed was fully un-made, no sheets on the bed, blankets on the floor. body hair was on the toilet and in the bathtub. Someone else’s key was on the desk. They gave me a new room once I mentioned this one was gross but even the new room I got had a shower soap system and the body soap and shampoo were out and the bed was like sleeping on cardboard. I would not stay again.

The bathroom did not have any protective screen on so we could not open the windows without getting giant bugs in. Very hot in the room, the AC was loud, but not at all able to cool the place and its location was very badly placed. We did not have enough towels and we had no way of contacting the reception to get some more.

Had two problems that were taking care of immediately. My AC unit wasn't working, and had no power. Before checkout time my key card lost its access. Both problems were taken care of right away.

Room was fine once I got checked in (language barrier). They wanted my driver's license for ID and a credit card although I had pre-paid and then failed to return my DL, instead returning it to the next guest (who thankfully looked up my name/cel # on the internet and called me).

One problem noted There was a slow drain in the shower tub, Which caused some water to enter the bathroom. I conveyed this to the attendant When I checked out. He apparently did not care and ignored what I said. In addition, I requested a copy of the final bill, since they had the nerve to charge my cc. For a security deposit. He said that do not issue a copy of the final bill, but I had to request that from Expedia. One final comment, when I returned the door key( at about 10.00 am) the office was closed And apparently I awoke this man from a nap Out of his quarters. Overal comment: mediocre c/s !! I wii not return to this place.

The person who runs this place is beyond rude and completely unprofessional. Wi-Fi connection is intermittent at best. And the icing on the cake are the bugs that continually crawl into bathroom sink. Would never stay here again.

We stayed because it was cheap and it was nicer than expected. Very comfortable for the price and easy access to restaurants, freeway, etc.

Nice, clean room. The owner did some upgrades, and does care about the quality of her hotel. It's a solid four stars. In my room the fridge nub was gone and the shower sprayed in all directions, but those are minor inconveniences. I like the town of Paso Robles. The downtown is nearby and offers some nice restaurants and boutiques.

We were able to check in and out quickly. The room was clean. It was quiet at night with no noise. Would stay at this hotel again. It was close by the venue for a great Foreigner concert!

Last minute found this online. Quick check-in, but realize that no soundproof on the walls. very noisy next-door neighbors. No coffee in the lobby. just the bulletproof window when check in out.

Hotels.com advertised this motel as providing breakfast but no breakfast is provided. Clean and basic room. I stayed with my dog and we were comfortable.

The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable, although it made some kind of loud noise when I got in or out of it, a metal sound. Not a big deal, but loud enough to wake up a partner. The shower pressure was weak. Half the water kept coming out of the lower spout instead of the shower head. Again, no big deal, just a mild annoyance. Despite these minor issues, I would stay on this property again and would recommend it.

The room was so spacious and very clean. I didn’t have the typical shower gels and the staff was so helpful assisting me with getting some. I was very comfortable walking the front grass area and just sitting back on the outdoor swing and just winding down after a long business day. I would come back here every time I’m here for business or just passing by. Thank you staff and Hotels.com for connecting me.

The rooms looked updated with newer tile and no carpet. Has nice central park-like setting in middle. I had left charging cable in room in morning, and manager was very helpful and let me in to get it.

Great location at a good price. High ceilings, makes the room feel bigger. Nice quad area. Bed was a little wonky, but we survived.
