The location of this properly was amazing. The sea views were fanatic and the living room layout provided a comfortable vantage point to take advantage of them. We would not hesitate to book again! The bench is 30 seconds walk over the road (which is fairly quiet). The sea was great to swim in and was calm throughout our stay. The 1970/80s decor was quirky and functional, just be careful in the kitchen, the draws come all the way out if pulled and this can be dangerous (landing on feet/small children). The vacuum cleaner that was provided also needs a new belt as the brush doesn't spin. I would recommend that the owners allow more food storage in the kitchen as one cupboard isn't really enough space for food storage for a group of 5. There are lots of other cupboards but they are all full of retro, and not particularly useful, pots pans and other items. If you visit, make sure you walk around Selsey Bill and you can see the sunset over Portsmouth as well as the Isle of Wight.
