Hotel Panorama

The hotel was very good located, near restaurants, supermarket and the beach. The breakfast was very good and a lot of variety of food. The only thing that I didn’t like it was that the parking lot has to be reserved before and we had written to reserve the parking by whatsapp but the hotel didn’t answer… the rest was really good.

There was plenty of things to like about this hotel, but also several very disappointing aspects, that overall led to a fairly poor stay which I feel falls short of a four star hotel. Firstly, the level of service was very mixed. Some of the staff here were so friendly and willing to help, but others were quite abrupt and were not always very helpful. In addition, staying at this hotel I would have expected car parking to be offered, at the very least at a discounted rate, however it was charged at a very extortionate 25 Eur per day. Our room was very old, had a creaky bed and did not meet expectations, and we requested to move. Despite this being accommodated it was done so at an additional charge which I also felt was very poor, and didn't do much to make you feel like a valued customer. On the plus side the views from the room and the roof top restaurant were stunning.

The hotel was very nice. The rooftop pool was beautiful and had great views. The breakfast was very good and again there were great views. The beach was directly across the street.

Location was perfect with great views! Staff was courteous. Rooftop bar restaurant and pool had breathtaking views!!! Hotel was clean, air conditioning was sufficient but bathroom was outdated. Otherwise nothing negative to say!

A piscina só tem 80 cm de profundidade, é dominada por crianças que ficam aos berros. Não é um hotel para casais que queiram descansar e aproveitar. Ponto positivo é o café da manhã e localização.

Staff was very kind and helpful with extending our stay with a late checkout. Beach Towel card was easy to use and explained clearly. Beach chair rental was reasonable price and available all day with the rental. Rooftop restaurant and pool had great views of the area.

We have enjoyed our 1 week stay. Very clean and staff are very friendly. The morning breakfast at the terrace was amazing. The balcony sea-view was superb. Hotel old but renovated. Room has everything u need. Had to pay to access the beach for sun-bed and umbrella.

Amazing hotel with amazing rooftop terrace. Parking is horrible though in a tiny little garage, they tell you they will valet your car to you but the woman at the front desk insisted we get it out ourselves. Everything else was amazing though!

Beautiful property with stunning views from the terrace. Dinner on the terrace was lovely and we felt so well taken care of. Breakfast was a huge spread of healthy and delectable options. There is an added cost to use the private beach.

Great breakfast buffet. Staff friendly and responsive. Beautiful view from the rooftop restaurant. Beach across the street. Only issue are the fruit flies. They’re all over the room. I would get rid of them and then more will appear. I can’t tell how they got in the room when windows are closed.

Room was clean & comfortable, breakfast was good with plenty of options.

We did not arrive untill 5 pm and were given the keys to a dirty room. Had to go back downstairs and wait another 1.5 hours for the room to be ready.

Our stay at hotel panorama was everything we would have wanted and expected. Convenient location. Lovely clean rooms that were replenished daily, helpful staff, nice/organized beach club, good value for $, wonderful included breakfast with nice view on the rooftop terrace. Would definitely stay again! Thank you.

The room was clean but The bathroom shower is old and the water comes out everywhere, the entire bathroom was flooded with water and when I told them to please check it, the answer was That they knew they had problems and that they will take care of everything . Breakfast is excellent and perfect view from the terrace

Clean rooms, comfy beds. Beach access nearby but you do need to rent spots, a little rocky on feet until get to sand. Everything is conveniently located and hotel can arrange anything you need.

Very nice hotel. Rooms were very clean and with comfortable beds. The beach was right across the street and many restaurants options at walking distance. Very nice pool with a beautiful viewpoint. The terrace also had a beautiful sunset view at dinner time. Did not like they don’t have iron for guests in the room. But this was the same for the other hotels as well.

We had a lovely few days. The room was clean and spacious, and the beds comfortable. It was great to have a balcony with a beautiful view of the seafront. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful and on the terrace overlooking the sea. We loved staying at the hotel.

The View and the rooftop terasse are very nice. Breakfast was very good compare to others in the region.Very close to bus stop and ferry port. Public Beach just across the hotel. Only thing to complain was the smell in the room which we mentioned but nobody took care about.But as we had this problem in other hotels too it is maybe a general problem . The shower door did not close. We could not lock the room door. The snacks with the Aperitivo was poor quality.

This hotel could not be faulted for the service, location and the breakfast was fabulous. So easy to catch the ferry and walk to minori and other villages. Loves the views from the room and rooftop. The rooms were ok and bed comfortable just needs an update and there was some noise from rooms above and beside us

First room on 1st floor was original and un renovated, probably from when it was built in the 60’s. Paid extra and moved to a room on the 3rd floor which was way better. Still don’t consider the hotel a 4 star even by European standards. It was clean, staff was pleasant, and breakfast on the 5th floor patio was magnificent.

Great location. Nearby restaurants all around. Food markets right next door (not just 1 option but several). ATM nearby. Ferry across the street. Safe area. Balcony beach view is nice but just avoid 4th floor. It gets noisy around breakfast time (6:55 am). I preferred the room that has a kitchen (Angelique). You can buy food and cook it yourself. But overall,great city and hotel to stay when in almafi coast. No hills!!!! Blvd is huge to walk.

We had a ocean view and it was STUNNING. The room could use a little update but it was clean, plenty of place and location was perfect (a few steps from the ferry, bus and restaurant)

Right in front of the sea. Affordable and nice. Staff nice. A little noise between rooms and floors a little annoying if you’re stuck next to or under a family that drags their chair across the tile or someone who lets kids run around and yell at 11 pm. These things will happen everywhere though because we hans can forgot about others. It hasn’t deterred us from returning to Hotel Panorama. This was our second stay.

Location is perfect however rooms are outdated

The property is ok, our room was newly renovated and very nice. However our friends’ room was very old and in disrepair. If booking this property, you must inquire about the condition of the room. If it isn’t one of the ones that it is not renovated, I recommend that you do not book it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is centrally located and steps away from the beach and from the center of town.

We really enjoyed Hotel Panorama and would absolutely stay here again. It's the perfect location as you can walk to most things (the port for the ferry, shopping, restaurants.) The roof top breakfast had a good variety and- to our surprise- one of the better dinners we had. And the view! The rooms were clean, well maintained, and had great AC. The front desk staff was really helpful, especially over email as we planned our stay and had questions. We rented chairs and umbrellas through the front desk prior to our stay and added a day when we arrived. It was an easy process and the beach club is directly across the street. (We didn't experience any crowd during the week but it was pretty packed on the weekends when other people came to town.) The beach club has a small selection of food and drinks- nothing extravagant- but good enough to enjoy yourself. We were at the hotel for almost a week with 2 rooms for our family of 4 and had no complaints- teenagers included!

All the receptionists were very rude. The parking was far from the hotel and there was no help to carry the bags. The only good thing was the location :in front of the beach.

The location of Maiori was perfect! Quaint and quiet beach town with no crowds. Front desk staff was not as professional nor friendly as we would expect for this Ibis property. Cleaning staff were superior!

The roof top terrace was amazing didn’t disappoint.. Breakfast was very good and room was plenty big and comfortable..balcony was very small .. Front reception staff I did not find very helpful barely answered any questions we had. Overall our stay was good..great location

Front desk staff not friendly just treat you like an annoyance, no smile, no name usage, just another number, not a guest…next! Did not feel welcomed at all when we arrived for check in after a long day of travel. Room was dated and worn, looked like it hadn’t been updated since the 80”s. Cheap paper disposable cups no coffee maker in room, just cheap kettle and some tea bags, no chinaware, think Days Inn, Motel 6. Not 4 star, is a 3 star hospitality and room. You have to pay extra for the set up at the beach, 30 euros a day. If you lose your beach towel or the beach card they give you they charge you another 20 euros per. Food and Beverage staff were great and seemed to care about you. Food was decent at dinner and breakfast. Restaurant is on 5th floor and has a beautiful view. Housekeeping staff were also kind and friendly. You are paying for location and view. When we checked out at front desk no goodbye or any sense of hospitality, no safe travels, just don’t let the door hit you on the way out attitude. Hotel in general looks tired and dated. We did not use the pool on 5th floor, is small but looked nice. Location of hotel in Maiori is convenient for ferry, restaurants. You are paying for 4 star hotel but you are getting 3 star standard. I would not recommend this hotel or would I stay there again.

The staff is over the top superior! They go out of their way to accommodate and make you feel like you are the most important guest. Anna and Miriam at the front desk were especially friendly. We wanted a reservation at the tower restaurant but they were fully booked. Anna called twice and then sent a messenger to the beach to tell us they could fit us in! Tresa and Pasquale were awesome at the breakfast buffet and also dinner. The breakfast is terrific with many options! The view from the rooftop is gorgeous. You can rent the beach chairs from between €10-€40 and the hotel gives you towels. The water is hot and the water pressure is great! The room is very large (we had a superior triple with balcony) but the beds are very firm. That was our only disappointment. Air conditioning worked great! Thank you fabulous staff for acknowledging the birthday girl and making her day special!

As soon as we strolled into Hotel Panorama after over two hours of travel from the Naples Airport via train and a bus (that dropped us off essentially right outside of the property that appeared euphoric in its beauty that kissed the waterfront), it was so refreshing to be greeted by the front desk staff who were willing to answer any questions we had (as well as entertain the broken attempts at Italian that I know). They made sure we knew every bit of details that there were to know about the hotel, and even offered suggestions on what to order and where to eat… which was a huge help since vegetarian options were a necessity. And when we would walk past the front desk throughout our way-too-short of a stay, we were constantly checked on and even asked about what we’ve tried so far and what else we could do for entertainment. The room we were in overlooked the water and had everything we needed, from closet space to a safe to ample charging ports to a mini fridge and to bathroom essentials. The ferry to other islands along the Amalfi Coast was a short walk to the port with a plethora of ticket stands to purchase from, and Minori (the adjacent town) was less than a 20-minute walk away. If we had more time to, the Path of Lemons was right behind our hotel, and they even had towels available to use on the beach that was across the street and the pool that they had near their own restaurant on the property. I cannot wait to return to this gorgeous establishment in the future!

The Hotel is in a perfect location to everything, boat day trips, beaches restaurants everywhere and all very good a short walk to Minori.

We pondered on what town to stay in, and are so pleased that we chose Maiori! It was the most quiet, and easiest to navigate! The port was only a short walk away, where we easily booked ferries to all the major towns on the coast. The hotel was super convenient. Close by to restaurants and grocery stores. Staff were all very friendly and very accommodating to our needs. The rooftop pool was an added bonus for days to just lounge around with a pool! We stayed 5 nights, and are soooo glad we chose Hotel Panorama for our base. Everything was very clean, too! Again, the best part was it was the least crowded of all the coastal towns. We could barely walk around Positano, Amalfi, and Capri without bumping elbows. Not in Maiori! It was perfect!!!

The hotel was excellent with very clean facilities. Very wide range of options for the breakfast with a magnificent view around the bay. The room was bright and clean, again with a fantastic view of the coast from the balcony.

Property had a beautiful view but it was very outdated. Rooms need A LOT of updating. Rooftop restaurant had great drinks but the food was not fresh.

The food at their restaurant for dinner is not good. We ordered something, but couldn’t not finish and we left to eat elsewhere. Stressed staff and discussions between them are constant. Not funny to look at. Only spent one night and it was enough.

The rooftop restaurant had an amazing view, but the food could have been better. The nearby restaurant "Tony's had amazing food.

Greeted by friendly staff, this was a nice, clean hotel near the ocean. Our room was spacious, bright and clean. The beds were very comfortable and washroom was roomy with good water pressure. The morning breakfast was fabulous. Served on there rooftop terrace, there was a lot of selection of breakfast items. You could enjoy your breakfast on the terrace with a great view of the coast and ocean.

Lovely staff, great food and drink. Pool area great. Terrace has great views
