GRAND HOTEL SERAPIDE

Very misleading on Orbitz part to advertise as free shuttle. It is only available between certain hours and very limited. Hotel was great, when you type in free airport shuttle you should not have to read everything and email the hotel to determine if there is actually a shuttle. I would have gone with a different hotel, cost was almost $100.00 to get to the airport

Our stay was Great but the description of the property on Hotels.com promised an Airport Shuttle which ended up costing us over 75 Euros for an Uber/Taxi. I emailed the property 48 hours before our stay requesting shuttle information, with no reply. We phoned the property upon arrival at the airport and were told that someone would pick us up. When nobody arrived, we phoned the property again and they apologized and said that unfortunately they did not have a shuttle available. The sole purpose of choosing this property was because of the promise of a hotel shuttle. Upon our arrival at the property, once again they were apologetic and even compted us a drink at their lounge. The hotel is beautiful, the view breathtaking and the cuisine and prices at their evening dinner menu was outstanding. The complimentary continental breakfast on the veranda was exceptional.

I only stayed here overnight as my flight landed too late to get a car rental! This hotel is very good. We organized a pickup from the airport, as it was a little pricey it was easier than getting in line and dealing with the hassle of finding a taxi. We got put into a room where the AC did not work so we called the front desk. Within minutes someone came to fix it. They determined they couldn’t fix it so put us in a fully upgraded suite that was amazing! All of this happened around 11:30pm and someone was always there to help and respond when needed. The room was clean, wifi and AC worked and the room was beautiful! The breakfast was honestly one of the best we had in our 2 months of being in Italy and there were so many options! We also took a free shuttle to the airport in the morning. We didn’t want to leave this hotel since it was so nice and everyone was friendly! I would say it’s not close to many things in Naples, so if you’re looking for a stay where you can walk to main attractions, this isn’t it unless you drive or cab! Great stay and would recommend. I

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Whirlpool auf der Terasse, beim Nutzen des Whirlpools tauchten immer wieder neue Schuppen Dreck auf. Zudem gab es keine Beschreibung zur Nutzung des Save’s. Licht über dem Spiegel im Bad und der Terrasse funktionierte nicht und wurde auch nicht nach Anmerkung ersetzt. Wir hatten Ameisen im Zimmer und im Bett. Im Zimmer konnte man zu gut hören, was im Flur los war, Abend wurden gerne mal Türen zu geknallt und man hat andere Gäste im Flur zu gut hören können. Das Frühstück war klein gehalten und das Angebot an Brot war nicht passend (nur Toastbrot und ungesunde Aufbackbrötchen), Käse gab es nur 1 Sorte und der Großteil des Buffets waren Süße Teilchen. An einem Tag waren auf dem Brot sogar Ameisen. Das Hotel bietet Shuttle an, jedoch nur von 9-17h, was man online nicht herausfindet. Da die Lage vom Hotel nicht besonders gut ist hatten wir nicht viele Möglichkeiten als öffentlichen Transport, die Busse, die kommen sollten,sind selten zur Zeit gekommen oder sogar 2h lang nicht, obwohl sie jede 30min. kommen sollten. Beim Check-out hat man uns Sachen aus der Minibar berechnet, ohne dass wir daraus Sachen genommen hatten ( wir hatten eigene Getränke gekauft, die nicht der gleichen Marke von denen des Hotels entsprachen, und dort in den Müll geworfen). Wir würden dieses Hotel keinem weiterempfehlen.

We stayed after a long Italian vacation and it was just what we needed. Very helpful staff and service, delicious food, spacious room with a cozy bed, with a lovely view of the sea - and a free shuttle to the airport!

Beautiful property. Staff were very nice. View was amazing. The restaurant was good but not a big selection. We booked this hotel based on location and shuttle to airport. Didn’t know until we got there shuttle didn’t start until 9am which didn’t work for us. Hotel did arrange a cab and take away breakfast (we paid for cab 70€)

Be around that this hotel advertise a free order to the airport that I cannot provide to you. I communicate with them for two days before arriving by emails and they announce me that on the Sunday the free shuttle doesn’t work. The day of my arrival, 2 hour prior my checking the announce me they couldn’t accommodate my free shuttle. I had to cancel it and they charge me anyway. Stay away from this hotel that actually lying to you and try to rip you off!

This hotel surprised me. It was good priced and in a great location. It is far from the main city, but we stayed to go to the airport because of the free airport shuttle. Which worked out perfectly because we had to leave at 9 the next morning and we scheduled it when we first arrived around 3. Staff greeted us happily when we first walked in and the location is gated which made me feel really safe in such a big city. Only complain was that the dinner wasn’t too good, but not what we came for. Would recommend.

We booked the room with the private balcony and hot tub. The view was amazing, room and amenities were great and the staff friendly and helpful. Would come back!

Hotel offers a shuttle service to the airport. The driver was rude, had a dirty vehicle with a broken seatbelt, and drove like a maniac.

We stayed for four nights at the hotel's studio suite which has a jetted tub in the room. The room was spacious and cozy, and the doors can open to a balcony with a beautiful view of the sea. The bathroom was plenty big, but some fixtures need an upgrade; regardless it was clean. It had a heated towel rack, but we never used it. The plug was also to high to reach for my short self. Maybe this is a European thing, but I am use to having drawer space to put my things in, but this this hotel had none. There was an open closet to hang clothes, but several items simply remained in our suitcases because we had nowhere to put them. The jetted tub was roomy and so relaxing once we figured it out. I wish there had been some instructions on how to operate it. It had lots of buttons to push and they were not labeled, so it was a guessing game what each was for. Most of the staff we dealt with were great and super helpful. On the first night we missed dinner and they went out of their way to make us a little something, best grilled ham and cheese sandwich we ever had. They serve a continental breakfast, and it was good. They have several different options. We made it a little late (15-20 minutes before breakfast ended) a few days, so there were mostly pastries and yogurt. There was a random sulfur smell, and we found out is coming from a nearby volcanic crater that emits those fumes. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This property really doesn’t have an airport shuttle. You have to book it way in advance. It has limited hours. Taxis to the property charge double due to the distance and tioll booth. My room had a foul odor. The bed was not comfortable.

Wir konnten im Hotel Serapide eine sehr angenehme Nacht in Neapel verbringen, da es sich in einem ruhigen Stadtteil befindet. Am späten Abend war es uns jedoch unmöglich den privaten Whirpool zu nutzen, was den Aufenthalt für uns persönlich perfekt gemacht hätte. Der Schwefelgeruch des Vulkans, der am Spätabend am stärksten war, hat es uns unerträglich gemacht. Dies lag jedoch nicht in der Verantwortung des Hotels. Es war trotzdem schade um das Erlebnis. Das Hotel ist grundsätzlich sehr sauber gehalten: gut klimatisiert, überall liegt ein frischer Geruch und alle Räume werden stetig gereinigt. Alleine der obengenannte Whirlpool, war unser einziges Manko. Leider wurde dieser nicht einwandfrei gesäubert bzw. er befand sich in einem veralteten Zustand. Dies war etwas schade. Die Freundlichkeit des Personals, das gute Frühstück und die tolle Aussicht haben es uns aber schnell vergessen lassen. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt!

Clean and comfortable

This is a beautfiful and reasonably priced hotel overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Rooms are spacious and bathrooms huge. Recently tenovated with everything in immaculate condition.

The staff and service are excellent. The view is beautiful. However, The hotel is not near anything. The room has mold around the shower/tile, missing light switches, extremely dirty hot tub. Had to get up early oh for our flight and could hear the Neighbor’s tv.

The hotel is in a beautiful location. We did not receive a free shuttle to the airport or wifi (after requesting it 3 times). There was a private function just under where our room was that played loud music until midnight. Too bad their customer service was so bad this could have been an amazing hotel. I would never recommend anyone to book here.

L’hotel è un po’ datato, la mia camera era molto spoglia e Minimale.anche il bagno non aveva rifiniture da Grand Hotel. Unica cosa veramente “Grand”è la vista che si può ammirare da fuori l’hotel. Mi aspettavo una colazione più ricca, con una maggior scelta e, essendo a Napoli, non il caffè della macchinetta self-service ma ho un buon espresso ( Cosa possibile ma a pagamento a parte)

It was really warm in the room. It advertised an air conditioner but did it was not on for the season. Also they advertised hotel shuttle but did not have one.

A/C did not work and we were warm all night. But, staff was very helpful and friendly in setting up an early morning cab for us. Disappointed we could not use the free airport shuttle, it was the reason we chose this hote.

HOTEL ROOM WAS BIG AND CLEAN, BUT IT WAS NOT WELCOMING, BESIDE THE BED AND TILES EVERYTHING IS PLASTIC, CHAIR, SIDE TABLE, TROLLEY IN WASHROOM, KIND OF ODD FOR A HOTEL THAT SIZE. THE PARKING IS NOT CONVENIENT AND THE STAIRS TO HOTEL IS NOT WELL THOUGHT. OVERALL IF YOU ARE ONLY SLEEPING FOR A NIGHT ITS OVERPRICED, AND THE HOTEL DESIGN INTERIORS AMBIENCE IS A FAILURE. WHOEVER DESIGNED IT AND WHOEVER APPROVED IT NEEDS TO RETHINK OF THEIR DECISIONS.

Terrible experience, we travelled with friends and family, called in advance to let them know of our arrival, shuttle costed us $80 Euros for a short trip. We let them know some of us had lost a flight and they didn’t let us in the room after midnight, despite the fact we had called them twice to make them aware of the situation. Customer Service is zero grade in this hotel.

The food was good both for dinner and breakfast. The view was also excellent but the staff made all the difference. They were polite and over-the-top helpful. We have no reservations about recommending the hotel. We will use them again.

Stayed here to position ourselves close to the airport as we ended out week visit to the Almafi coast. Staff was kind, and helpful.

The hotel was so amazing, staff super friendly and accommodating. But SO far out of Naples. Not sure I meant to book that or if there was a mistake because taxis were SO expensive in and out. And there really wasn’t much around.

There is, I believe, a geo-thermal vent near the property. At certain times during our visit we could smell this, a smell of sewage.

Nice hotel. However, I was led to believe the hotel was close to the airport. It is at least 20 minutes from the airport. I did not realize this hotel was so far away from the city center of Naples. It costs €100-€120 take a taxi into Naples. This hotel does provide you a beautiful view of you with a beautiful view of the sea, including a beautiful view of the island of Capri.

Terrible sulfur smell evident both inside & out with this property. They promised a complimentary airport shuttle that did not exist resulting in a very expensive taxi ride and the location is awful & remote - not even in Naples as advertised - 30 minutes from airport. Absolutely no dining options other than one high-end seafood restaurant

Perfect waterfront stay on our last night in Italy. The hotel is great if you’re looking for a view with peace and quiet but there’s nothing walkable nearby. Luigi and Francesco were amazing!! Also worth noting, the airport shuttle is only available 9-5; but the front desk kindly coordinated a 4am cab pickup and even had amazing breakfast bags waiting for us!

One of the nicest hotels I have stayed at— updated, beautiful, kind staff, safe, nice views, good food. Only downside? Few activities nearby and the train is a distance away.

Albergo in posizione strategica e panoramica. Davvero una ottima location. Camera ampia e comoda. Colazione strepitosa davvero tutto molto buono e con giusta proporzione fra dolce e salato.

Spectacular views but could have done better in terms of customer service. Very limited dining options with uncertain hours.

Very nice and comfortable, staff is service oriented, breakfast is great, clean. The plastic shelves doesn't fit the nice bathroom.
