Lovely hotel just a 10 minute walk to the marina although the first 300 metres are down quite a steep hill. The rooms are very modern and well appointed, the disabled room was ideal, the breakfast was nice and varied including cooked items and the restaurant itself was very modern and inviting. It had a lovely small pool with chairs and loungers looking down to the coast. I would imagine e it would get crowded on the height of the season. Overall a very good hotel, we parked In the one disabled bay so it isn’t available the then the hill could present a problem.

It is the fourth time we have stayed at this hotel, originally La Cumbre. Pricewise, it was a better deal than last year when we booked direct and got ripped-off so we used your site this year. Situated above the port, definitely walkable for the fit but if infirm, a car is needed to visit the beach ( may take sometime finding a parking space in the port during July/August!!)Hotel refurbished a couple years ago, very modern with all facilities required.Quiet location althogh size of swimming pool a bit deceptive on web page!! Gardens superbly maintained by Gerry (Wiggins), very clean and staff attentive.. Menu, this year, was not as varied as last year... appears to cater for the more international clientele which didn't suit my Spanish wife!! Was told that it was a top chef but, in my opinion, needs more traditional Spanish dishes... well it is Spain!! Prices were a bit high for drinks etc but I suppose it is what should be expected in a hotel!! Rooms basic but very clean and a couple of problems encountered immediately dealt with. Definitely a hotel for a quiet holiday away from the hustle and bustle of the port (which, of course you can join in with) but despite the great offers for accommodation, the prices of drinks and food a bit excessive. My wife says "last visit"!!!!

Nos gustó el hotel, la habitación es comodo ,limpio con un balcón, también nos gustó el detalle de tetera con sobres de cafe ,azúcar ,etc.en la habitación . El desayuno es bueno, habia la variedad. We loved the pool area, the day beds are so comfy, very peaceful with beach club vibes. No hurry to get sunbeds, plenty available all day. Had a very relaxing stay. We gave it 4 out of 5 and not 5 out of 5 because - The air con in the bedrooms is not adjustable and set too high, it was hot overnight and not comfortable. The cooked section of the breakfast buffet was cold, and the last morning was stone cold so inedible but the rest of the breakfast buffet is good and well stocked up. There was a strong sewage smell every time we returned to our room, it wasn’t coming from the bathroom but was really unpleasant.

Hotellet virket litt slitt fra utsiden, men så mye mer oppdatert ut inne. Stor terasse med bar, badebasseng og flott utsikt. Mange plasser å slå seg ned med solskjerming. God frokost. Mye å velge i. Jeg hadde bestilt rom med sjøutsikt og det fikk jeg. Rommet hadde stillegående aircondition. De nettene det var kjølig åpnet jeg døren til min flotte balkongog ble slått av hvor stille det var. 15 minutter å gå til strand promenaden. Hjelpsomt personale med OK engelsk kunnskaper, langt bedre enn min spansk.

Room very clean. Massive bed, excellent shower, fridge, hanging space, balcony good. Only downside was the emergency light in room came on by itself frequently in the early hours on 2 nights. We did notify the reception team when it first occurred. It was only rectified after the second night it did it again multiple times.

Really enjoyed this hotel. Very comfortable room with super king bed, lovely balcony with far-reaching sea and town views. Nice pool area with reasonable number of sun beds. It never felt crowded. All staff warm & friendly and made us feel genuinely welcome. The walk to the promenade and marine was about 20 mins, with an excellent range of restaurants. The return walk was a little slower as uphill, but a good way to burn some of those extra calories!

La habitación con terraza con vistas al mar era muy bonita. Aunque había un par de cosas que se podrían mejorar (no funcionaba el teléfono de la habitación, no funcionaba el pestillo y pusieron una cadenita), la verdad que la estancia fue estupenda y pudimos desayunar mirando al mar frente a la piscina. Lo único que hay que tener en cuenta es que está a unos 15 minutos de la playa andando.

The hotel is lovely, the rooms are lovely, the pool area is fantastic. However, we have never ever, anywhere in the world, stayed in a hotel where the vast majority of staff were so rude and unfriendly. It was so bad, it actually became comical. There were a few exceptions, but if the staff were more friendly and welcoming, this hotel could be excellent.

Hotel was clean, fresh and couldn't fault that side of it, staff at poolside bar, breakfast all good. The issue i had was the safety deposit box was closed on arrival so i asked reception 3 times and one of the chambermaids to reset to open vs the last people that used it. We then also was told we would have water on arrival, and we didnt and again i asked for it. We then found out that one of balcony doors didnt lock, again asked with the safe & water. We stayed four nights and none of the requests happened. However we ordered food at the bar, i didnt get a receipt to check and I have phone calls, asking me at breakfast the next day to sign for it. I wouldnt mind it was only for 10 Euros.

My wife took ill with a fever and arm infection. The staff were very understanding and tried to contact 24hr medical centre but there was no reply. Didnt need in the end as my wife always takes antibiotics with her. Have stayed twice great value but most of all the staff are always friendly and helpful

I stay at this hotel on two occasions twice a year. The accommodation is good but the female receptionist on checkin was not very helpful. I asked for some extra milk or cream for coffee and she pulled a face. I know times are hard but just one request but these would appear to be too much for her. However a pleasant stay at this hotel as always.

Wirklich komisch zimmer gut. Pool leicht mit Algen. Hotel Restaurant öffnet erst ab 2030uhr fürs dinner. Room Service +20% service Gebühr wucher! Frühstück eher miserabel. Kein Sauberes Geschirr/ Besteck/ grenzt an den Tempel des Todes….. Nicht zu empfehlen!

Very good accommodation in a perfect location. Helpful and welcoming staff provided an enjoyable stay. The range of great food available for breakfast was one of best I’ve found anywhere, but the hot food selection was cold due to inefficient steam heating. A relatively low cost investment in heat lamps to keep the food hot would make such a difference.

No room available at checking time .But after a couple of hours waiting around we got a upgraded room ,the staff on reception were very polite and professional and apologetic about the rooms not being ready.we had a pleasant stay and liked the hotel the only thing letting it down was the the restaurant it looked lovely but in our 3 night stay it wasn't open or if it was there was no staff about when we walked round it and no menu on display,only a qcode in the room that both our phones wouldn't download.

This is a lovely hotel with a beautiful view. The only issue I would say is that they need to sort out the restaurant. The food is not good and if you haven’t reserved a table and want to just get a snack it is very hit and miss as to whether you actually manage to get anything. We only ate a couple of times here during the day but the food wasn’t cooked properly so had to send it back.

It's a nice hotel in a good location, but the gym is lacking, with nearly all cable machine attachments missing. Also the breakfast is of a very poor standard the small hot food offering they offer is just left to go cold on plates on the side.
