I wish the elevator was better and both were operable

The air conditioner had a moldy smell that made the entire room unpleasant during our stay. Also, I genuinely do not understand why La Quinta uses incredibly small pillows on their beds. Each bed had three tiny square pillows that weren’t even standard size, much less appropriate for a queen bed. Why are hotels doing this now? It feels like comfort and convenience for travelers are being sacrificed to cut costs. Guests shouldn’t have to travel with their own pillows just to get a decent night’s sleep. For that reason alone, I will not be staying at La Quinta Inn again.

Booked for a night stay after a concert in Starkville. Easy access right off highway. Staff friendly and room spacious. Continental breakfast was great and the staff made sure there was plenty of hot food.

Adequate stay for a trip to Starkville.

Breakfast offered a good if not great selection. AC worked but was a bit noisy when operating so turned it off when sleeping. These type of room units are common and they all are noisy so this hotel was not that unusual in that regard. Room had basic amenities and bathroom was clean but pretty basic as well.
