Our stay was great. The pool was fantastic and the beach was very lovely. The grounds crew were very polite and helpful. The resort is in a convenience area, close to shops/food. The on site restaurant Oasis was convenient, however, the servers were very rude. Very unfortunate. Other than that, we enjoyed every minute.

The accommodations are beautiful and clean. This isn’t really a resort though. What they call the lazy river is just a walking path. No tubes available or allowed. The pool is freezing. If it was a warmed up a bit could be very enjoyable. The slides are fun but our grandson would have chattering teeth in 10 mins . The restaurant bar is only open a couple hours a day so never tried it. Other than slides a residence for elderly in our opinion

Milo and Theresa were wonderful hosts. Their home is absolutely beautiful. They provided everything we needed. Also, the property has an amazing pool, water slides, hot tubs, and easy beach access. The location is great since you can get anywhere from Lihue (15 min), Poipu (30 min), Hanalei (40 min) and Waimea Canyon (60 min) in an hour. The town of Kapaa had a lot to offer too. Milo and Theresa were very responsive to our questions. We highly recommend staying at their home. Aloha and Mahalo!

We enjoyed our stay at this property very much. It’s our second time at this resort but first time at this unit. The resort itself is awesome for kids and the separate hot tubs for adults and families is great. We saw a seal one day on the beach! Having Safeway across the street, walking distance was super convenient. The unit has everything you need in the kitchen. Driving North/South from Kapaa was super easy and Kapaa is a cute town with many places to eat. A condo when traveling with little ones is a must for the washer/dryer use, full kitchen, separate living space and lanai areas especially with grandparents and this unit checked all the boxes. Milo is super responsive and all the info you need is communicated well and ahead of your stay. You’ll love the spacious bathrooms and living areas.

The unit and resort exceeded our expectations (and our expectations were high given the ratings, reviews, pictures, etc). The room was clean, it comfortably fit our family of 6 (plenty of bed space with 3 comfortable king beds and a pull out, and 3 bathrooms), the pool and hot tub area were beautiful, and the maintenance of the grounds made for a stunning atmosphere on the beach. We also loved the location, next to a grocery store and near many dining and shopping options, close to the airport, and halfway between the north and south shores. We could not have asked for better, and we look forward to returning!!
The unit and resort exceeded our expectations (and our expectations were high given the ratings, reviews, pictures, etc). The room was clean, it comfortably fit our family of 6 (plenty of bed space with 3 comfortable king beds and a pull out, and 3 bathrooms), the pool and hot tub area were beautiful, and the maintenance of the grounds made for a stunning atmosphere on the beach. We also loved the location, next to a grocery store and near many dining and shopping options, close to the airport, and halfway between the north and south shores. We could not have asked for better, and we look forward to returning!!

We loved everything about our week at the Waipouli Beach Resort. Loved the location of the unit within the resort, but also it's location in charming Kapa'a Town. Really a perfect jumping off point for daily adventures anywhere on the island. The unit had everything we needed - even extra beach towels. The grocery store (Safeway) is right across the street and walkable - and Starbucks is next to Safeway. But there's a cuter local coffee shop a mile up the road in Kapa'a - Java Kai. Highly recommend all the restaurants in Kapa'a. We loved Fish Bar Deli so much we ate there twice. Along with the location, the Waipouli Property is beautiful. My seven-year-old loved the water slides and waterfalls at the pool. It never felt crowded and was walkable for my father who is disabled (and stayed in a different unit). The beach on property was pretty and easily accessible. The tradewinds the first week of March were strong, limiting our time in the pool. It rained nearly every morning but we never had a full day of rain. We'll recommend the Waipouli to friends visiting Kauai and definitely plan to stay there every time we visit the island.

Beautiful and well designed condo with gorgeous mountain views and amazing pool area. Well appointed with beach chairs, boogie boards, cooler, etc for exploring the island and close to shops, restaurants, etc. We loved the pool area as it offered something to do even if the weather was wild (still hit the sandy bottom hot tubs in the rain and used the gym). Slept well in the beds. Nice vaulted ceiling in the living room due to top floor. Milo was great to work with and let us check in early on arrival day. Would definitely recommend.

The property is beautiful. The unit was great. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. My only complaint was that only one of the hot tubs seemed to be hot. The other two were luke warm at best. Also there were kids in the adult hot tubs. Other than that it was perfect.

What a wonderful condo in a gorgeous resort on the beach! The condo is spacious, richly appointed, and well equipped. The resort pool is a 185,000 gallon lazy river with multiple waterfalls and spas. It has no equal on the island and few in the state of Hawaii. The Oasis on the Beach restaurant was excellent. Candace at Kauai Calls was very quick to respond and helpful with our requests. I would highly recommend this property!

This condo was amazing! Great location and views of the mountains, right across the street from Safeway. The condo has a full kitchen and has lots of kitchen items. We did have to buy the basics like cooking oil, foil/Saran Wrap for saving leftovers. There was salt and pepper and minimal spices. Lots of towels and super clean!!!! The boogie boards, beach chairs and ice chest was excellent. We used the cooler every day to take with us to explore the island. Milo was excellent to communicate with and was very helpful and texted back right away. Excellent host! We were very happy with this condo and the resort. Would definitely stay again!!!

Our condo was just as promised, clean, roomy, and with great fully stocked kitchen area. Property was immaculate and the pool area is beautiful. Milo was attentive to my emails, and all inquiries. Unit is across the street from a Safeway and small strip center. I highly recommend this unit.

This condo was the perfect home base for our family vacation to Kaua'i! Everything was exactly as it appeared on the listing- absolutely gorgeous! The room was clean, cozy, and loaded with everything we could need for our stay! The resort was unbelievable - the pool was exactly as pictured and the grounds were impeccably cared for! If we find ourselves in Kaua'i again, we will stay here in a heartbeat!

We had a fantastic experience staying in D407 at the Waipouli Beach Resort! The cleanliness was impeccable, and the host's communication was top-notch. Milo and Theresa were very communicative and their directions made getting into the room and navigating the resort a breeze. When there was a minor AC issue, they were able to get someone to come in and get it fixed within only a couple hours of letting them know. The room is very spacious and allows plenty of area to spread out. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you'd need to cook if desired. Lanais offer beautiful views of the mountains, especially at sunset. The location on the east side of the island was convenient for traveling to the North and South parts of the island. The beach on the resort isn't the best, and I didn't see many people on it, so if having a nice beach is important to you, would recommend elsewhere on the island. It wasn't a problem for us though, especially since it doesn't take long at all to travel around the island.

We stayed for about a week in B310 and really enjoyed our visit. The unit is large and beautifully furnished, decorated and maintained. The kitchen is fully stocked with all everything you would need for a Thanksgiving dinner, lol. Every aspect is very upscale. The grounds are lovely and our two 9-year-olds and 11-year-old had lots of fun in the pool and on the waterslides. I used the bbq for dinner one night and recommend you finish before it gets dark. We will return in the future for sure.

We had a great experience with this property. With our two kids under 13 and their grandparents that are over 75, it was comfortable for everyone and we had lots of fun. The location was excellent for adventures on the island and very centrally located for easy commuting north or south. Plus the access to grocery stores and shopping and restaurants it was perfect for our family. The pool was incredible and the beach was convenient. We even got munk seals right outside on the beach property. Our only complaint was the road noise from the Safeway parking lot and the stop light just below us. We slept with the slider doors open and screens closed for the first few nights and the busy road was definitely a factor with noise. But that does come with the convenience of stores and restaurants near by so I can’t complain about it much. I would definitely stay here again.

We even got munk seals right outside on the beach property. Our only complaint was the road noise from the Safeway parking lot and the stop light just below us. We slept with the slider doors open and screens closed for the first few nights and the busy road was definitely a factor with noise. But that does come with the convenience of stores and restaurants near by so I can’t complain about it much. I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing stay at the Waipouli! As a family of 6 I was definitely worried about having enough space. Not a problem here! Multiple bathrooms and the kitchen was big, and had everything we needed. Walking distance to groceries and shops was such a plus. I chose Kapaa since it would be so central and the location made it easy to get to all the different parts of the island. We loved being on the beach but also having the hot tubs, pool, and slides. Overall so glad we picked this condo!

We had an absolutely AMAZING time staying at Waipouli Beach Resort and this unit was just about perfect for our family of four (kids ages 4 and 6). The kids had so much fun in the pool and on the water slides and we loved the fact that the unit was on the ground floor because we could easily step out the door every evening for sunset. The unit was well equipped with everything that we could have wanted and it was conveniently located pretty close to the front entrance so we didn't have a long way to haul our stuff every day. Waipouli Beach Resort is in the perfect location to go North or South to different beaches and activities on the Island and there is a Safeway and Shave Ice shop right across the street which was super handy for last minute food/treat items. The check in process was smooth and communication with the property manager was great. The only negative feedback that I have is that the pull out bed was uncomfortable. We would put the kids to bed in the by contrast very comfortable king bed in the bedroom and wouldn't want to move them so my husband and I took the pull out bed. If you need more than one bed perhaps consider looking for a two bedroom in this complex. Would I stay here again despite the uncomfortable pull out bed? Absolutely!

Milo and Theresa were wonderful hosts. Their home is absolutely beautiful. They provided everything we needed. Also, the property has an amazing pool, water slides, hot tubs, and easy beach access. The location is great since you can get anywhere from Lihue (15 min), Poipu (30 min), Hanalei (40 min) and Waimea Canyon (60 min) in an hour. The town of Kapaa had a lot to offer too. Milo and Theresa were very responsive to our questions. We highly recommend staying at their home. Aloha and Mahalo!

Milo and Theresa were very communicative and their directions made getting into the room and navigating the resort a breeze. When there was a minor AC issue, they were able to get someone to come in and get it fixed within only a couple hours of letting them know. The room is very spacious and allows plenty of area to spread out. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you'd need to cook if desired. Lanais offer beautiful views of the mountains, especially at sunset. The location on the east side of the island was convenient for traveling to the North and South parts of the island. The beach on the resort isn't the best, and I didn't see many people on it, so if having a nice beach is important to you, would recommend elsewhere on the island. The room was just like the pictures. Especially liked the ice chest, beach chairs and the great wagon that was in the unit. We used them everyday. The property was beautiful and the pool was amazing! Right across the street there was a grocery store, Food places and ABC store. The host Candace Mack always got back to us when we needed her. We are definitely going to book this unit again!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. The location of the condo in the resort is great because it's right next to the parking and tucked in enough to not get the noise from the central pool/lazy river area. But it is close walking distance to the pool area and the beach which was amazing! Driving proximity is great also. Close enough to the airport, Kapa'a Market, about an hour drive to Princeville (such a beautiful drive). One lane streets mostly so being close enough to the airport was good (12 min drive) and prevented the stress of getting stuck in traffic. We loved the lazy river and our son loved the kids jacuzzi. Overall we loved our stay here and would consider staying here again.

We loved staying here! This was our first time staying in this unit, but our second time staying at this resort. We will now always try to stay here, because it seems to be one of the few units at this resort with handheld shower heads which are game changers, especially when showering kids. The condo was clean and has everything you need. Milo & Theresa are excellent hosts that were always extremely fast to respond. My kids love the pool with the two slides and my youngest loves the kiddie area as he still is learning to be comfortable in the water. We love that we can just walk to the grocery store and the best shave ice across the street. We also love staying in Kapaa for the central location because we love to visit Hanalei (30-40 min north) and also love going down south to Poipu and Hanapepe (30-40 min south). Thank you Milo & Theresa for the amazing stay, we hope to be back soon!!

Upon arrival AC did not work. Tried to call phone # provided. No answer. Had to email numerous times back and forth. One email told me that it had been inspected before we arrived, and it worked. That told me they did not believe us. The next day maint arrived and had to flush the waterline twice to unplug it and get it to work. Slept first night w/no A/C. Even though their directions in the arrival e-mail said to "Feel free to call me if you have any questions or concerns" and even though I asked them (through e-mail) numerous times to call me, I never once received a phone call. There were no directions left for basic things, such as where do we dispose of trash, how do you unlock the stove top (had to google it). The shower pocket door will not stay closed. The shower head was black with mold. Was told in one email that coffee/creamer/sugar was provided in a starter pack, then was told in another e-mail, they don\'t provide anything. Had 1 cereal bowl, emailed and asked for more and received them two days later, but I needed to send them a pic of the 1 bowl so they could bring me matching bowls. They brought 4 bowls, they didn\'t match anyway and a Brita Pitcher, which we never asked for (assuming they had it on their notes that it needed a pitcher but had neglected to bring it before we arrived.). I hope the owner of this unit realizes the customer service this real estate company provides is subpar. Did not enjoy dealing with this while on vacation.

Our condo was just as promised, clean, roomy, and with great fully stocked kitchen area. Property was immaculate and the pool area is beautiful. Milo was attentive to my emails, and all inquiries. Unit is across the street from a Safeway and small strip center. I highly recommend this unit.

We had a fantastic experience staying in D407 at the Waipouli Beach Resort! The cleanliness was impeccable, and the host's communication was top-notch. What a wonderful condo in a gorgeous resort on the beach! The condo is spacious, richly appointed, and well equipped. The resort pool is a 185,000 gallon lazy river with multiple waterfalls and spas. It has no equal on the island and few in the state of Hawaii. The Oasis on the Beach restaurant was excellent. Candace at Kauai Calls was very quick to respond and helpful with our requests. I would highly recommend this property!

Our stay was great. The pool was fantastic and the beach was very lovely. The grounds crew were very polite and helpful. The resort is in a convenience area, close to shops/food. The on site restaurant Oasis was convenient, however, the servers were very rude. Very unfortunate. Other than that, we enjoyed every minute.

Our family of 5 really enjoyed staying at this condo. Extremely clean with nice furnishings. We really liked the convenience of being in proximity to both the north and south side of the island. Very convenient! The pool area is really nice and it’s on a lovely beach. I should note that swimming at this beach isn’t ideal here due to rocks just offshore, but a nice sandy shore to walk in and get your feet wet. Many other beaches are extremely close and our family enjoyed borrowing the condo’s beach gear and trying out many beaches near by. Highly recommend. We would stay here again.

Best location in Kauai as it is central to everywhere. The complex and facilities are wonderful. The apartment was quite clean and had ample space for 4 adults. The 3rd bathroom/toilet was a bonus as were the washing machine, dryer and dishwasher. Views are fantastic, overlooking pool, waterfall and the ocean. Highly recommended!

We loved everything about our week at the Waipouli Beach Resort. Loved the location of the unit within the resort, but also it's location in charming Kapa'a Town. Really a perfect jumping off point for daily adventures anywhere on the island. The unit had everything we needed - even extra beach towels. The grocery store (Safeway) is right across the street and walkable - and Starbucks is next to Safeway. But there's a cuter local coffee shop a mile up the road in Kapa'a - Java Kai. Highly recommend all the restaurants in Kapa'a. We loved Fish Bar Deli so much we ate there twice. Along with the location, the Waipouli Property is beautiful. My seven-year-old loved the water slides and waterfalls at the pool. It never felt crowded and was walkable for my father who is disabled (and stayed in a different unit). The beach on property was pretty and easily accessible. The tradewinds the first week of March were strong, limiting our time in the pool. It rained nearly every morning but we never had a full day of rain. We'll recommend the Waipouli to friends visiting Kauai and definitely plan to stay there every time we visit the island.

My wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary here and had a blast. We loved the location because we planned activities in the North and South part of the island and this was just about in the middle. There are a lot of restaurants near by and a grocery store right across the street. If we visit the island again, I will look to stay in the same place.
My wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary here and had a blast. We loved the location because we planned activities in the North and South part of the island and this was just about in the middle. There are a lot of restaurants near by and a grocery store right across the street. If we visit the island again, I will look to stay in the same place.

Great condo, great location on the island if you want to visit the north and south beaches because you are basically at the mid-point. Owners are super responsive and accommodating. The condo complex has a great pool for kids. Hugely convenient to be located across street from shopping center with Safeway and other stores. Highly recommend.

Our stay was great. The pool was fantastic and the beach was very lovely. The grounds crew were very polite and helpful. The resort is in a convenience area, close to shops/food. The on site restaurant Oasis was convenient, however, the servers were very rude. Very unfortunate. Other than that, we enjoyed every minute.

We LOVED the location. Safeway right across the street is SO convenient. They were very prepared for us and it was so helpful. The pack and play was there waiting for us and everything. Although the beach isn't swimmable my kids still had a lot of fun. Loved running from the small waves and playing in the sand. They spent a lot of time collecting coral. My kids also loved the pool! It would be nice if there was like a snack shack type menu that was more affordable, the on site restaurant was out of our budget. We loved the location. Right in the middle to travel to all areas of the island easily. We unfortunately had a trip to the ER during our stay and that was close too. Nothing negative to say about the property. I love that it is on the ground floor. So easy to walk to and from the room/pool/beach. I felt comfortable with my kids going by themselves if we forgot something in the room. Beautiful condo. Will stay again.

The accommodations are beautiful and clean. This isn’t really a resort though. What they call the lazy river is just a walking path. No tubes available or allowed. The pool is freezing. If it was a warmed up a bit could be very enjoyable. The slides are fun but our grandson would have chattering teeth in 10 mins . The restaurant bar is only open a couple hours a day so never tried it. Other than slides a residence for elderly in our opinion

This was exactly what we were expecting from the description. I had even booked restaurant reservations in advance and later realized that the location I booked was actually the resort restaurant. My teens loved the large pool with waterside. Having a grocery store and Starbucks across the street was nice too.

We loved everything about our week at the Waipouli Beach Resort. Loved the location of the unit within the resort, but also it's location in charming Kapa'a Town. Really a perfect jumping off point for daily adventures anywhere on the island. The unit had everything we needed - even extra beach towels. The grocery store (Safeway) is right across the street and walkable - and Starbucks is next to Safeway. But there's a cuter local coffee shop a mile up the road in Kapa'a - Java Kai. Highly recommend all the restaurants in Kapa'a. We loved Fish Bar Deli so much we ate there twice. Along with the location, the Waipouli Property is beautiful. My seven-year-old loved the water slides and waterfalls at the pool. It never felt crowded and was walkable for my father who is disabled (and stayed in a different unit). The beach on property was pretty and easily accessible. The tradewinds the first week of March were strong, limiting our time in the pool. It rained nearly every morning but we never had a full day of rain. We'll recommend the Waipouli to friends visiting Kauai and definitely plan to stay there every time we visit the island.

Absolutely loved our stay here. The place is absolutely perfect and conveniently located to everything. Oasis was very good (on site restaurant). And the hot tubs with sand bottoms were awesome. Note- the ocean is very wavy! We would happily return and stay longer next time!

Waipouli is a great resort. Beautiful beach front location, nice pool, on-site restaurant, great staff, close to everything and nice amenities. The units are also really nice. We come multiple times a year and Tina’s units are amongst the best. There’s always an added touch and extra care that goes with staying with Tina and Dream Vacations Kauai. These units are super clean and have everything you a need for your home away from home stay. You can’t go wrong!

What a wonderful condo in a gorgeous resort on the beach! The condo is spacious, richly appointed, and well equipped. The resort pool is a 185,000 gallon lazy river with multiple waterfalls and spas. It has no equal on the island and few in the state of Hawaii. The Oasis on the Beach restaurant was excellent. Candace at Kauai Calls was very quick to respond and helpful with our requests. I would highly recommend this property!

We’d had dinner at the Oasis 6 years ago and promised we would stay at the Waipouli next time, and it was everything we hoped it would be. Fantastic unit, location, and amenities. We look forward to coming back again soon!

The unit as well as the entire property was extremely clean. Kitchen was beyond well equipped beyond dishes and flat wear…good knives for prepping food, full set of pots, pans, and lids in great condition, measuring cups, serving bowls, and water pitcher for refrigerating which is a must for us. The barbecues are cleaned daily so are always in great condition for grilling. The pool was nice and warm with a number of seating spaces along the edge. On occasion, the pool got a bit rowdy with unsupervised kiddos, but this was sporadic and not constant. From what I understand after calling the front office, it is Security’s responsibility to enforce the no running/no jumping or diving in the pool and I think that they should have a bit more visibility there to keep kids and inattentive parents in check.Candace was a fabulous host, quickly responding when I had questions…felt like she was a good friend when we spoke rather than a host/ business person doing her business.Safeway is just a walk across the street as is a great women’s clothing boutique (Mahina’s). We learned they get new shipments on Thursdays, so we would go shopping on Friday looking for new stuff. Of the three stores on the island, my daughter and I liked the selection the Kapaa store offered best (there is a little overlap of merchandise but we were told each store receives different things, which we discovered when we visited the Koloa and Hanalei.

Everything listed and was pictured extremely accurately, place was very well kept and all interior appliances worked flawlessly, very beautiful place for our family of 4. Only thing for improvement: place only had 3 chairs (why more add a 4th.) Also, it would be nice to have 2 Boogie boards and an umbrella as a standard compliment, easily purchased from Costco for very cheap but would be great for vacationing families to have on hand when exploring as a standard room compliment, otherwise everything else was perfect. I will be recommending this to the rest of my family for future bookings, thanks

We loved this property. Beautiful view and close to everything. The owner has thought of providing whatever you could possibly need in the kitchen with high end appliances and supplies. We took advantage and cooked meals and grilled down by the pool. The staff on property did a great job of keeping the pool/bbq area very clean. Would definitely stay here again.
