The room was amazing, very clean, they even put a small tray of fruit and crackers on the bed, the balcony was very nice, across the street were a few places to eat, drink and local band music. It's a really adorable boutique hotel with custom one on one attention. I enjoyed the sweet touches like incense in the common areas first thing in the morning, the writeups on much of the artwork on the walls, the gardens and cozy porch. A charming hotel in a charming town. Looking for an original stay, this is it.

Had the pleasure of staying here on the 22 of February great place and staff, for me the kicker was ev charger in the parking lot since I drive a Tesla Embers eating venue across the street and Mikos coffee shop, and Furleys just down the road. Over all 5* hotel

Cozy, well maintained property. Room was tastefully decorated with all the amenities you could need. Easy check-in and able to let ourselves in when returning in the evening. Our room had a lovely deck which we would have enjoyed if the weather had cooperated. Only criticism would be that the room was very tight and the queen size bed was right up against the compact washroom.

I was able to see some of the other rooms as well as mine and each one is beautifully appointed and unique. Nice touches that were appreciated was the Nespresso machine, shower which was luxurious and crisp linens.

Gorgeous updated century home. Lovely clean room with small balcony looking over the street. Perfect location - walking distance to many restaurants and the river. Brewery across the road had live music and the restaurant across the road (Embers) had great food and nice ambiance. We’ll come again!

Extremely clean and a delightful boutique hotel, with attention to detail that we have never seen else where. The grounds, gardens, antiques and art enhanced the experience of staying in a Victorian style accommodation. And the gourmet breakfast topped it all off. Highly recommend and we will be back !!!

The minute I stepped in I felt like I walked into the Victorian era. It shows there was attention to every detail in furnishings and decor. Everything was so very clean and fresh. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The front desk lady was friendly and helpful and explained all the amenities. I highly recommend Maison Rose for your next romantic get away.

The hotel décor was beautiful and luxurious. The rooms were stunning, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. It felt easy to relax admidst the artwork, comfortable and inviting furniture and peaceful atmosphere. The hostess was warm and welcoming. She provided us with helpful détails about Hudson, including interesting places to shop and to dine. I would love to return, especially during the summer season.

I had a lovely stay at Maison Rose. The hotel manager went out of her to ensure I had everything I needed, and offered service above and beyond my expectations. The rooms are extremely clean and my room, despite facing rue Main was very quiet without any traffic noise at night. Excpect to hear the occasional train horn in the morning as Hudson is a commuter town but there are only a few stops in the morning and no trains at night. Steps away from cafes, shops and restaurants as well as a grocery store. Highly reccomended!

The Maison Rose is an outstanding piece of intricately detailed professional design ingenuity replete with carefully selected antiques, art work and decoration pieces at every turn. The facility is clearly the result of someone's labor of love. Every room. every corner, every hallway ... is rife with interesting artifacts, paintings and visual surprises. This is a skillfully created piece of design art presented in a methodically executed, high quality, bare-bones renovation of a local historical building. Phenomenal!

As you should be aware, I attempted to cancel my reservation the day before due to a health emergency. However neither Expedia nor the property were able to assist with my concern. I am therefore out $250 and wasted several hours of my time trying to resolve this matter. Should you wish to offer any compensatory assistance, I would appreciate it; Otherwise I will no longer use Expedia or recommend it or this property to any of my friends or business associates. Maybe hear fom you?

La Maison Rose est un endroit très propre et confortable. Le service est toutefois sporadique. Pour avoir un service assuré, il est important de s'y rendre après 16h. Nous sommes arrivés plus tôt que prévu et personne n'était à l'accueil, malgré le fait que l'on pouvait entrer. Mon épouse a appelé et laissé un message deux fois sans jamais avoir de réponse. Lorsque nous avons demandé à l'hôtesse s'il y avait des restaurants à découvrir dans le village, elle nous a répondu qu'elle ne connaissait pas trop bien la région. Je recommande peut-être un babillard avec des lieux à visiter à l'accueil afin que les invités puissent avoir une idée des différentes activités à faire à Hudson. Nous avons du faire toutes nos recherches sur Google puisque personne ne pouvait nous aider.

Nous sommes arrivés plus tôt que prévu et personne n'était à l'accueil, malgré le fait que l'on pouvait entrer. Mon épouse a appelé et laissé un message deux fois sans jamais avoir de réponse. Lorsque nous avons demandé à l'hôtesse s'il y avait des restaurants à découvrir dans le village, elle nous a répondu qu'elle ne connaissait pas trop bien la région. Je recommande peut-être un babillard avec des lieux à visiter à l'accueil afin que les invités puissent avoir une idée des différentes activités à faire à Hudson. Nous avons du faire toutes nos recherches sur Google puisque personne ne pouvait nous aider.

Had a lovely stay at the Maison Rose, a true show of hospitality! And a quintessential experience. The way that the hotel is staged it makes you feel like you are walking through time, and maybe for a moment the world has stopped. Truly memorable, and when I accidentally left my dresses in the closet they were sent back to me right away. Would book again!

This charming little hotel is located in the centre of Hudson, where pretty much everything you could want or need is within walking distance. The staff is very friendly and the owner is very amiable and accommodating, and goes out of his way to make his guests feel welcome. Pride of ownership is evident in his attentiveness to his guests and every detail. Highly recommend and hope to return in the future.

I had a lovely stay at Maison Rose. The hotel manager went out of her to ensure I had everything I needed, and offered service above and beyond my expectations. The rooms are extremely clean and my room, despite facing rue Main was very quiet without any traffic noise at night. Excpect to hear the occasional train horn in the morning as Hudson is a commuter town but there are only a few stops in the morning and no trains at night. Steps away from cafes, shops and restaurants as well as a grocery store. Highly reccomended!

This is the most beautiful and inviting bed and breakfast we’ve ever stayed in. It was the perfect place for our 25th wedding anniversary. The artwork and decor is stunning. The hosts are personable, down to earth and provided great suggestions on what to see and where to eat in the area. Hudson is only a 45 minute drive from Old Montreal and it’s worth the drive to stay at this property if you’re wanting to visit the city.

Gorgeous updated century home. Lovely clean room with small balcony looking over the street. Perfect location - walking distance to many restaurants and the river. Brewery across the road had live music and the restaurant across the road (Embers) had great food and nice ambiance. We’ll come again!

Très belle endroit, ambiance romantique qui incite a la douceur et a la detente. Personnel acceuillant. Un peu cher, pas de déjeuner inclus $$. Air climatisée qui fonctionnait mal dans ma chambre avec la chaleur accablante a l’extérieur, donc l’humidité était a son summum dans la chambre. Aucun rabais ou compensation en retour, un peu déçue.

Maison Rose is very special! My daughter and I stayed about a week and we loved everything about our time there. Every room is decorated impeccably in English Victorian and French style. It feels like you're stepping back in time! There is nothing like coming downstairs and smelling the Parisian breakfast of homemade baguettes and croissants. Servane and her staff are attentive and the service is superlative. The little town of Hudson is lovely and not far from downtown Montreal. Hudson was a nice retreat after sightseeing, and the local neighborhood is fun to explore also. Highly recommend this charming place to stay!

Only point to make is that the beautiful breakfast is extremely expensive - on a par with a top 5-star hotel. It’s a near theatrical production in a breathtaking setting but you may not want to do it every day of your stay. It’s a small quibble. We’ll be back.

Extremely clean and a delightful boutique hotel, with attention to detail that we have never seen else where. The grounds, gardens, antiques and art enhanced the experience of staying in a Victorian style accommodation. And the gourmet breakfast topped it all off. Highly recommend and we will be back !!!

Every corner felt like a whisper of romance — the creaking floors, the delicate floral details, paintings, morning light spilling through windows. The Parisien-style breakfast was just as lovely: flaky croissants, delicious chocolatines, baguette, jams, cheese and ripe fruit, fresh juice pressé, and peppermint tea.

Beautifully decorated, very Victorian. Rather like staying in a museum. Mattress was comfortable. Very clean. Front desk check in was lovely. Those were the good bits. Unfortunately, the air conditioning unit in the room was horrifically noisy, to the point where we had to turn it off halfway through the night and open the windows instead. To get any kind of breeze, we also had to open the blinds, which meant that the bright exterior lights that stayed in all night lit our room up like daylight... and we could hear the neighbouring room's a/c. Even more unfortunate was the owner's response in the morning when we checked out. Yes, he knew there was an issue with all the units, and he had someone coming in a few days to look at them. In the meantime, we were told "sorry about that"... and nothing more. No offer of a discount of any kind. No offer of a complimentary breakfast (which is not included in the price of your stay, btw, so it is most definitely NOT a bed and breakfast as advertised... not is it cheap). We were out the door and halfway down the stairs before he offered breakfast the next time we stayed. So. Pretty place. Clean. And utterly spoiled by the compete lack of client care. Cannot recommend. Will not stay again.
