Friendly staff in all areas. Spa - odd shaped pool was difficult to swim in without bumping into other swimmers. Golf course great fun and in good order. Bar dining and breakfast - friendly service and good food. Three identical rooms booked through Expedia but one room much smaller than advertised. One couple unable to travel and no refund even partial was offered. (Genuine reason - Margaret had spinal decompression surgery two days ago for acute disc lesion!)

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious with a nice view of golf course. The bed is comfortable. The used amenities such as swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Plenty of options in breakfast but we just noticed that only one staff there and you need to wait for a little while because if that. But overall nice hotel!

It was okay but we chose this hotel for the pool and the hot tub. The hot tub was cold and when we went to go swimming there were at least 20 children getting swim lessons taking up the whole pool. The changing room was filled with children of both sexes and there was no privacy. These were for the second group going in. We will not stay here again. Hot tubs are supposed to be hot. We told them about it but they said that is how it is. Very disappointed.

Generally okay. Hot tub was cold (should be called a cold tub). Lota of unsupervised kids in the pool contrary to rules that were frankly annoying. Breakfast good. Staff pleasant and helpful.

A lovely hotel on a golf course,we were also lucky as when we stayed there was a horse race meeting right across the road from the hotel.The staff at the hotel were some of the most helpful and friendly staff I have come across,going that extra mile.The room was big and comfortable,the food was very tasty,breakfast and evening meal.

My stay was okay. The hotel itself is fine and the room was clean, but it is certainly showing signs of wear. They really need to work on accessibility. For example, there's no reason not to have a front door that opens automatically or with a push of the button in order to make it easier for people with wheelchairs, strollers, or even just those trying to manage their luggage. Similarly, it is very annoying that the small lift that takes you to the rooms is out of order and, despite the fact that I was pushing a baby in a stroller and had a wheeled suitcase, no one alerted me to this fact or offered to help.

We had the loveliest overnight stay in a really large comfortable ground floor room. We had a beautiful meal in the bar in the evening & an equally delicious breakfast in the morning. It was so quiet & peacefully the whole time we were there. We never heard another guest. The staff were very friendly & welcoming. We would definitely stay again the next time we are passing.

We only stayed here one night. Not great, - the bathroom had some sort of leak as our carpet was soaking wet. No one on reception except a security guard who did try and help. However, the hotel was full and they could not swap our room so we had to just tough it out until morning when we checked out.

I was attending an event at the hotel and decided to stay overnight, rather than face a late night drive home. All the staff members I interacted with were extremely helpful, friendly and very professional. My room was on the ground floor and was superb. The bed was so comfortable. The room was large and very well decorated and very clean and tidy, I had a cooked breakfast the following morning and this was excellent.

I was attending an event at the hotel and decided to stay overnight, rather than face a late night drive home. All the staff members I interacted with were extremely helpful, friendly and very professional. My room was on the ground floor and was superb. The bed was so comfortable. The room was large and very well decorated and very clean and tidy, I had a cooked breakfast the following morning and this was excellent.

While the check-in was pleasant and all staff were professional I have to say the noise in the room was absolutely awful. I was given the room as an ‘upgrade’ at check-in but I suspect the room is a known problem room. There was a constant thumping from when I checked in at 6pm to when I checked out at noon - it was relentless apart from maybe three hours in the dead of night. I was extremely tired on arrival and so went to bed early and having done so did not really want to complain and have to repack and change room. I was also certain that any adjacent rooms would no doubt have heard the same constant thudding with it being so loud. I don’t know if the room sat under a gym or a function room or something but it was the worst I’ve ever experienced. I mentioned it at checkout and the lady said she’d look onto it straight away - I only hope that helps the next guest. Staff and breakfast were fine as I say, I didn’t use any other facilities but the minimum I expect for €180 per night is a good peaceful nights sleep and to not have to change room. Not happy.

3 star at best. Room key had to be changed 6 times as it stopped working. In room safe did not work , asked 3 times if it could be looked at and nobody came to look.No air conditioning.

We stayed at this hotel as we were attending a family event there, which was excellent and perfect for the occasion. However as guests we left disappointed. The hotel itself felt dated with breakfast limited and understaffed. For a 4-star hotel we were expecting something more.

Reception staff great, breakfast fab and staff get great, on three nights I had meal and drinks in restaurant , food average and over cooked and waiting staff need more customer service skills waited thirty meal to be asked if I required another drink even know my glass was empty and waitress passed me on several, shame as it would have been a great stay

2nd time staying here and was disappointed, thought the girl on the front desk was very good and the room itself was decent but WiFi and phone coverage were awful. Might have been a different experience if I wasn’t staying for work but unfortunately that was the case. WiFi crashed multiple times, couldn’t hotspot as my phone signal was “E” or “3G” at the best of times. Breakfast wasn’t great, servers didn’t come near me for ordering hot food off the menu.

The room was large and very well decorated and very clean and tidy, I had a cooked breakfast the following morning and this was excellent.

I was attending an event at the hotel and decided to stay overnight, rather than face a late night drive home. All the staff members I interacted with were extremely helpful, friendly and very professional. My room was on the ground floor and was superb. The bed was so comfortable. The room was large and very well decorated and very clean and tidy, I had a cooked breakfast the following morning and this was excellent.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious with a nice view of golf course. The bed is comfortable. The used amenities such as swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Plenty of options in breakfast but we just noticed that only one staff there and you need to wait for a little while because if that. But overall nice hotel!

We stayed at this hotel as we were attending a family event there, which was excellent and perfect for the occasion. However as guests we left disappointed. The hotel itself felt dated with breakfast limited and understaffed. For a 4-star hotel we were expecting something more.

Breakfast was the best in Ireland and I am Gluten free. Absolutely delicious. Breakfast bacon was perfect not overdone. Mushrooms were so good. Views are stunning and staff are consistently so friendly and welcoming. My favourite place in our Irish Stay !

We had the loveliest overnight stay in a really large comfortable ground floor room. We had a beautiful meal in the bar in the evening & an equally delicious breakfast in the morning. It was so quiet & peacefully the whole time we were there. We never heard another guest. The staff were very friendly & welcoming. We would definitely stay again the next time we are passing.

2nd time staying here and was disappointed, thought the girl on the front desk was very good and the room itself was decent but WiFi and phone coverage were awful. Might have been a different experience if I wasn’t staying for work but unfortunately that was the case. WiFi crashed multiple times, couldn’t hotspot as my phone signal was “E” or “3G” at the best of times. Breakfast wasn’t great, servers didn’t come near me for ordering hot food off the menu.

Hotel amplo numa localização fora da cidade. Confortavel, quartos amplos, boa rouparia, bom chuveiro. O quarto precisaria de atualização. Havia azulejo trincado no box e um azulejo de padrão antigo que da ar de velho. Havia frigobar no quarto e água no corredor, e apesar de entender que isso é característico da hotelaria Irlandesa, a falta de amenidades como hidratante, roupão, chinelo de quarto faz muita falta. Assim como a maioria dos hotéis nao possui ar condicionado o que para nos gera algum desconforto a noite. O cafe da manhã de buffet foi muito bom

The room was very comfortable, clean and there were lovely useful elements in it such as a small fridge with cooled water and milk and a lovely selection of tea and coffee including decaff coffee which I'm a fan of. I loved the large comfortable and very clean bathroom with a lovely shower and the handy little bits like showe caps, soaps etc. My only negative about the hotel was the fact that the leisure area - the pool / sauna were a bit dated - but thse being dated wouldn't be much issue at all as overall I still managed to relax and reset thanks to it. The issue I had was the lack of cleanliness in the pool yeah, OK, hello, aww. It was lovely. I want to download to the flowers to Daniel. Oh no, that's so much your mother. 01 of my favourites, I'm happy life. The word mother and I get every day you're cooking busy, you should be right. I know, bakes me, sadly, ohh God, we have to stop. To be honest for the whole day, yeah, you got a different. I had a full Irish breakfast and I'd like, oh stop and don't think that, do you know what? The hotel was lovely. Overall, it wasn't like super modern, probably a nice kind of you know, typical. Not east longer hotel. Yeah, the only negative that I have. And I was gonna not put it still because they asked me for the reviews now, but I didn't realise it's topics.
