The Son Tra Sea Hotel is steps away from My Khe Beach. You can also see the Linh Ung Pagoda (Lady Buddha) from your window. There is a nice washroom and drying area in the bottom of the hotel, so you can change before going back upstairs. Laundry service was helpful too. There is no onsite restaurant, because there are plenty of seafood restaurants along the strip. There is a very convenient 24/7 convenience store on the first level beside the hotel. The room was decent in size with good A/C.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the cheaper rooms were gross. Extremely unhealthy as they were so damp and smelt of mould due to no ventilation during the rainy season. There were no windows to open. My room had an integral glass screen that allowed all the corridor lights into the room at night. It was lighter at night than during the day. The more expensive rooms looked better. The area was in the back of beyond. There were eateries within walking distance, but little choice. A Grab (taxi) into town was 80,000 (and 80,000 back).

We had a lovely stay at Sontra Sea Hotel as a couple. The ocean view from our room was beautiful and super romantic. The room was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. Comfortable bed, clean rooms and close to the beach. Great staff and helpful service. It’s away from the hustle of downtown Da Nang but still close to everything by bike or taxi. Will definitely return.

The Son Tra Sea Hotel is steps away from My Khe Beach. You can also see the Linh Ung Pagoda (Lady Buddha) from your window. There is a nice washroom and drying area in the bottom of the hotel, so you can change before going back upstairs. Laundry service was helpful too. There is no onsite restaurant, because there are plenty of seafood restaurants along the strip. There is a very convenient 24/7 convenience store on the first level beside the hotel. The room was decent in size with good A/C.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the cheaper rooms were gross. Extremely unhealthy as they were so damp and smelt of mould due to no ventilation during the rainy season. There were no windows to open. My room had an integral glass screen that allowed all the corridor lights into the room at night. It was lighter at night than during the day. The more expensive rooms looked better. The area was in the back of beyond. There were eateries within walking distance, but little choice. A Grab (taxi) into town was 80,000 (and 80,000 back).

Me alojé en el Hotel Sontra Sea unas noches y me encantó. Habitación limpia, cama cómoda y personal muy amable. A solo unos minutos a pie de la playa, despertarse por la mañana con el sonido de las olas es una experiencia relajante. Por este precio, está muy bien; cualquiera que busque un lugar tranquilo cerca de la playa debería probarlo.

Belle chambre, belle vue! Lit de béton, pourtant on a pas si mal dormi mais il n’y a pas de matelas, juste un genre de couvre matelas épais. On m’a répondu que c’était comme ça au Vietnam… pourtant en 20 jours, on a toujours eu des matelas normaux sauf là. ceci dit le staff est très gentil. Sous l’hôtel, il y a un dépanneur, c’est pratique.

The staff was excellent! Everyone is so nice and accommodating! The view is excellent! We stayed in the 2 bedrooms and the beds were very hard. The room with the balcony side could get noisy at times especially between 5:30am - 6am. They were exercising across the street with very loud music. However, our last night we stayed in ocean view with king bed, it has better view, and bed is a little bit softer, and noise control is better. We can easily get a Grab to go anywhere. We would definitely stay again, but will choose Ocean view king room!
