Great hotel. Staff is always friendly. We stayed in the parlor double queen suite. Room was huge. Beds are firm, if that is your preference. Bathroom needed a small amount of work. Shower head was a little leaky and dated. Large tub shower combo. Direct TV. Large tv. Pool and hot tub are great. Bice breakfast. No elevator (jsyk) no problem for us but be aware. Great location, out of town but within 5 min of everything. Have stayed jere many times and plan on going again

The people waiting on us were friendly when they were at the welcome desk. Several times when we walked through the lobby, no one was around, even if I had a request. The worst part of our stay was the condition of our room. It was quite dusty and dirty, especially the phone. The floors had clearly not been cleaned as there was quite a bit of hair in several places, especially the bathroom. The shower had also not been cleaned - it was very dingy and had hair on the floor. We will not stay at this hotel again.

We have stayed many times and always feel safe. It is quiet and the staff is always available if there are any questions. This time we noticed the bathroom was not as clean, there was mold/mildew in places where it would be easy to clean.

The hotel is in a very convenient location for sightseeing in Decorah. The condition of the hotel is very good, there is newer carpet in the halls and lobby amenities were good with water and coffee available. Breakfast however was not well attended and hot items were empty both days we stayed. The room was very disappointing with dust and dirty floors in the bedroom. The bathroom was disgusting! There was human filth around the toilet and the floor proved equally filthy when wiped with a cloth. Skip this location unless you want to clean the room yourself. We plan to visit Decorah again but certainly not Country Inn and Suites!

We stayed for 6 nights. The hotel in general was very clean and employees were very nice and accommodating but the beds were absolutely the worst bed I have ever slept on. You could hear the springs breaking as you sit on it. Our little family didn't get a good night's rest for the entire trip. I would highly suggest updating beds and pillows. It's a convenient place for my family to stay while visiting if only the beds didn't feel like a legit bed of nails.

I needed just 15 minutes extra to get my kids showered after swimming. 15. The woman at the front desk would not give it to me. When we left right on time, the housekeeping staff was no where near our room. They were busy working elsewhere. It would have been so easy to give me that grace. Nope. She wouldn't budge. Next time we're in Decorah, we'll be staying across the street at the Fairfield. Marriott has never turned me down for such a request.

Delicious breakfast. Loved that the hotel was right next to a bike trail head - we used many times during our stay. Vending machine only works with a card, no cash. TV in room was very poor visual quality. A little dangerous pulling onto the highway from the hotel - fast traffic from left - be very cautious. Pros very much outweigh cons, and we would abaolutely stay here again.

Short drive to almost everything. Clean hotel and our room seemed updated. They have a pool and hot tub but the hot tub was not hot enough! They have a Continental breakfast. Basic, but they did have biscuits and gravy that was very good! Also cereal, toast, waffles and a few different juices and fruit. Staff were fine. Pleasant but not over the top friendly.

The room was very clean. The steps were very dirty! They need sweeping. We enjoyed our stay but have to say the breakfast was horrible. Scrambled eggs with no sausage or bacon!! No muffins! Just ate toast and yogurt. Coffee wasn’t good either

The hotel is in a very convenient location for sightseeing in Decorah. The condition of the hotel is very good, there is newer carpet in the halls and lobby amenities were good with water and coffee available. Breakfast however was not well attended and hot items were empty both days we stayed. The room was very disappointing with dust and dirty floors in the bedroom. The bathroom was disgusting! There was human filth around the toilet and the floor proved equally filthy when wiped with a cloth. Skip this location unless you want to clean the room yourself. We plan to visit Decorah again but certainly not Country Inn and Suites!

Rooms are very attractive and clean. Coffee is excellent as are breakfast. I was bothered at first they didn't make beds and pick up towels. We stayed only 2 nights and i wasn't aware of the policy. We had plenty of towels so not a problem. Very quiet.

It was all great except for the breakfast. There were no eggs or any other meat. Just biscuits and gravy and waffles. And, of course, cereal.

Plumbing was second rate. You couldn't completely turn off the shower to take a bath. The breakfast was wonderful!! Great coffee. Very helpful staff.

The hotel staff was very friendly upon arrival...like they were glad that we were there. The check in was easy. We were greeted with a delicious chocolate chip cookie right away. The room was spacious and clean and had all of the amenities. The only disappointing thing was the coffee maker which was a lot of hotels are going to. The breakfast was really nice with eggs, cheese, sausage and ham! There was also cold cereal, fruit and waffle irons. I have to say, the pool and hot tub were some of the better we have experienced...not just a dang room with a pool so the hotel could achieve another star. It had high ceilings, lots of windows and was adjacent the lobby, not down at the end of some long hall. The beds were super comfortable with 3 nice fluffy pillows. The location is great. We loved our stay and will stay again in the future.

The room was very clean and the breakfast was great. The only problem was the construction was so loud and it started at 7am in the morning so if I had known about the construction, I would not have stayed at this hotel.

Quarto limpo e pareceu terem sido renovados recentemente, pois os móveis e decoração pareciam novos. Cama confortável. Equipe do hotel prestativa, especialmente a Kirsten. Ela foi muito atenciosa comigo e minha mãe! Ela merece nota 10! Café da manhã bom - eu apenas incluiria mais opções de fruta. O hotel tinha café disponível durante todo o dia perto da recepção e no final da tarde também cookies saborosos.

We arrived after 9 but there was someone at the front desk to great us-which was great. Our room was clean and welcoming. The breakfast was great each morning and a good way to start each day.
