Great hotel, very nice and modern and situated next to a shopping centre. The staff are extremely kind and helpful. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the old town. There are lots of transportation options around and we mainly used uber because it’s cheap in Cluj. Overall great stay.

Absolutely amazing property and all of the staff was amazing. Quick note - for electric car charging - front desk needs to activate the charging station. We will be back soon!!

Hervorragendes Frühstück, Saft wird frisch zubereitet, Eierspeisen auch, unsere Bedienung brachte am zweiten Morgen zwar kalte Omeletten von den auch vorhandenen wärmebehältern. Fitness war wegen Reperatuten geschlossen. die Suiten sind dafür in Wohnungsgrösse und sehr schön!

Beautiful property, and the room was the best on our trip! The Italian restaurant downstairs in the mall adjoining the hotel is quite good with impeccable attention to detail. The views from the upper floors are nice, although right now there is some very noisy construction across from the hotel. We could not hear it in the room, but the traffic and construction did make it difficult to enjoy the balcony. Parking is easy and connected the hotel.

Convenient, central location, very close to the BT Arena where the design fair was, which was the reason of my trip to Cluj. Spacious, clean rooms and nice views. I had a suite with multiple rooms and the view was great from all windows. A copious breakfast was included in the room cost. I will most likely stay at Hotel Platinia again.

Exceptional place to stay. Very clean and well maintained. About a mile, 15 minute, walk to old town/St Michael area. Staff is extremely helpful and kind. Breakfast is great, but the waitstaff make it top notch. We stayed here for our 4 night stay in Cluj and had the best experience. Very comfortable.

Exceptional place to stay. Very clean and well maintained. About a mile, 15 minute, walk to old town/St Michael area. Staff is extremely helpful and kind. Breakfast is great, but the waitstaff make it top notch. We stayed here for our 4 night stay in Cluj and had the best experience. Very comfortable.

Beautiful property, and the room was the best on our trip! The Italian restaurant downstairs in the mall adjoining the hotel is quite good with impeccable attention to detail. The views from the upper floors are nice, although right now there is some very noisy construction across from the hotel. We could not hear it in the room, but the traffic and construction did make it difficult to enjoy the balcony. Parking is easy and connected the hotel.

We loved the hotel and mall within. However, there was road construction that made it hard to navigate and sleep in. Would return though as the hotel was great!

Hervorragendes Frühstück, Saft wird frisch zubereitet, Eierspeisen auch, unsere Bedienung brachte am zweiten Morgen zwar kalte Omeletten von den auch vorhandenen wärmebehältern. Fitness war wegen Reperatuten geschlossen. die Suiten sind dafür in Wohnungsgrösse und sehr schön!

Fantastisk hotel hvor alt bare er som det skal være. En lille del fra den gamle bydel af Cluj, men vi tog en bolt/uber hjem og gik ind til midtbyen. Jeg anbefaler stedet.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Platinia. Overall, we were very pleased with our time here and would gladly recommend it. The breakfast was great with plenty of choices. You could order eggs made to your preference alongside bacon, and they even made us crepes one day even though it wasn't on the menu, which was a lovely touch! Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed. It had two TVs, which was perfect for relaxing on the sofa and watching the World Cup. The balcony was also great a wonderful spot to sit in the sun and unwind. The beds were large and comfortable, and the housekeeping throughout our stay was top-notch. Location wise, the hotel is just a short Uber ride from the city center. If you are driving, parking is super convenient: you get free access to the parking garage. Just take a ticket from the machine when you first arrive, give it to the hotel reception to register your license plate, and after that, you can drive in and out seamlessly for the rest of your stay. The only slight downside was the gym/spa facilities. You receive one voucher per stay, after which it costs €35. We were not informed that it was only one voucher per stay, so on our first visit, we only used the gym and planned to do the spa the next day. When we showed up the following day, we had to pay extra. Had we known beforehand, we would have combined the gym and spa into a single visit. Tip for future guests: Make sure you use both the gym and spa on the same day!
