The room cleanliness and comfort was excellent. We had trouble with check in and payment being doubled, which took a good portion of the time there and after the stay to resolve. The indoor pool is not unlocked unless requested and more of a large hot tub size. No real access to Lake and no outdoor pool. Disappointing and not much to do at this property.

The property was nice, there was not a lot of activities on the property or in the area. Beautiful lake, but no kayaks, bikes, or outdoor gear. There was no hot tub and a very small cold indoor pool. The beds had tiny useless pillows. For the expensive nightly rates, we were expected better amenities and service.

Lovely hotel, very quiet, with a fabulous gas fireplace in our spacious room. Make reservations for the private pool (FYI there is no hot tub, despite what Expedia claims, which was a minor disappointment.) So convenient to get dinner at the attached steakhouse (the creamed spinach and steak tips with parm fries are recommended). Easy 15 minute drive to Gunstock. We hope to be back.

INCREDIBLY DISAPPOINTED IN THE POOL. IT'S NOT HEATED. THERE DEFINITION OF HEATED IS 84 DEGREES WHICH IS DECEPTIVE. IT'S A SITTING COLD POOL THAT NO ONE SITS IN. Not one person went into that pool for the weekend. I brought it to the front desk's attention and they were not helpful and did not care about heating it properly. This place would BE SO MUCH BETTER if they offered a truly heated pool/spa at 100 degrees. People would actually want to come here over Mirabeau if that was the case.

Nice quant small inn. Rugs in lobby need upgrading. Rooms are diverse themes. Was not aware when booking thru expedia, not asked for desired theme. Received a rustic themed one ( rm 100 with king bed), did not like it. Would have preferred a ocean themed one. Large room with lake facing balcony with 2 chairs and table. , no microwave in room, only supplied one set of towels per person, requested two, and was supplied. Jacuzzi placed in jammed , hard to enter position. No table supplied if was to have coffee or breakfast in the room. No safe in the rooms. Very helpful clerks at front desk. Delicious restaurant on site. Pool is a small soaking pool and locked and need to have someone open it and remove cover to use it. Decent continental brkfast. Fresh muffins, juice coffee, toast, bagels, danish and cereal, would have been excellant if provided some fruit also.

Amazing spa experience. Lovely rooms. Quiet and spacious. The soaking pool and billiards are great for kids. Excellent service. Hot breakfast would have been nice but not provided. Great location to Gunstock.

Unique experience, friendly and helpful staff, accommodating. Suggestions to help: Be clear the pool is not a lap pool and you have to reserve the soaking tub in advance. Also when helping to make dinner reservations at the connected restaurant, Steak and Seafood, be specific on options to reserve for indoor or outdoor dining. Overall , very beautiful experience and an exceptional resort manager, Jerry.

It was advertised as a Spa hotel, but the spa was closed over the weekend. The price of the hotel is pretty high, but the linens were synthetic and the rooms are quite over dated, including the bathroom. doesn’t worth the money that we spent. In addition, the breakfast was quite bad.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and extremely clean and warm/ welcoming. The staff were always smiling, helpful and so friendly. The fireplace in our room warmed the room and made it such a relaxing atmosphere. Beds were very comfortable and yes the sheets were super soft. The restaurant, although not directly affiliated with the hotel, was fantastic. We now plan to stay here for every trip back to this area!!

This is our Third visit in 10 plus years. The rooms need to be updated, they are the same. The bed posts have gouges out of the wood, the patio decking was dirty, the TV remote was cheap and sticky. The breakfast is cheap

Property is very nice although a little dated in places. Breakfast needs to be more substantial for the price of the room. There is a restaurant attached, but it does not open for breakfast. The staff are really nice and the house dog is super friendly.

First time at the Inn stayed over a 3 day weekend but decided to leave after 2 nights. We had an expensive exec suite that was quite roomy. Tough temperature control with window units (ambient temps were hot). Bed was quite large and with bizarre mattress that was so soft and deep it was hard to move in the bed. They really need a new, much firmer mattress in that room at least (hope all the suites are not similar). Had a tiny TV to watch at night (24" maybe). Breakfast provided item by item on specific request for each. Felt almost like staying in a foreign land, Transyvania at Holloween maybe (actually travelled from Massachusetts to Laconia)? Great dinner and service at O's first night and Fratello's the second night. Nice to drive around Winnipesaukee in our Tesla. Great superchargers in Tilton and Center Harbor. Decided to forgo trip up and around Lincoln, Kangamangus highway to Conway and back, although easy to so with Tesla SC in Lincoln (probably not even needed but nice) due to forecast snow on third morning. Great EV confidence builder for touring anywhere in NH but don't think we'd come back to this Inn.

Another fantastic weekend at Opechee - rooms are spacious, clean and staff is always friendly and helpful. We stay as much as possible in the summer and we are never disappointed. Worth the money!

The fireplace in our room warmed the room and made it such a relaxing atmosphere. Beds were very comfortable and yes the sheets were super soft. The restaurant, although not directly affiliated with the hotel, was fantastic. We now plan to stay here for every trip back to this area!!

The room cleanliness and comfort was excellent. We had trouble with check in and payment being doubled, which took a good portion of the time there and after the stay to resolve. The indoor pool is not unlocked unless requested and more of a large hot tub size. No real access to Lake and no outdoor pool. Disappointing and not much to do at this property.

Another fantastic weekend at Opechee - rooms are spacious, clean and staff is always friendly and helpful. We stay as much as possible in the summer and we are never disappointed. Worth the money!

As always Lake Opechee is amazing. We stay every summer for several weekends - the staff is always friendly, they take good care of us! It's a little tough to get into O's but we just book ahead of time and understand this. Would be great if guests got some sort of preference on seating but I realize they are just at the hotel and not part of the hotel. Not Opechee's issue at all! We love the hotel!

The property is tucked away in a somewhat commercial area but once checked-in it had a more lakeside feel. It has west-facing rooms and small balconies which were great to enjoy a coffee. The restaurant is good onsite and far end of building as not to disrupt the Inn feeling.

The location overlooking the lake was so scenic and beautiful. Plenty of space and parking which was super quick and easy to navigate during check-in. The room size was fantastic and the accommodations such as the mini fridge were top notch. Great access to the downtown and plenty of activities that all were advertised well by the property. The convenience and quiet were things that we appreciated and will have us returning soon!

As always Opechee was awesome. We have friends nearby so we have a specific reason to stay here - but the hotel is clean - staff is friendly beds are amazing! The location is ideal for us but unless you have a specific reason to stay here it’s a little tough as you can’t go in the lake here and the pool is very very small - otherwise Opechee is awesome - that’s not what we need so works perfect!!

Exceeded expectations in every way. A quiet option to other more touristy choices but convenient to activities such a Lake Winnipesauke boat tour. Walked the WOW Trail behind the Inn. Great dinner at Fratellos nearby. Enjoyed sitting on lawn and saw a loon.

The view of the lake was beautiful! The breakfast was good although would be better if they could extend it later to accommodate those who like to sleep in on their vacation. It would be great if there was a beach area/ more of a resort vibe. The surrounding industrial buildings are not conducive to this.

This place is very misleading when you book your stay they charge astronomical prices show you beautiful rooms that face the lake with a deck they also advertise an indoor pool and you could probably fit four people in it then they put you in a room that faces the train tracks and a dirt parking lot out back after you paid 350 dollars per night. I would understand if the front rooms were that price. but the room that they put me in wasn’t worth more than $125 a night we ended up leaving Saturday morning and taking the loss of 350 next time, we will do more research and stay elsewhere

The room was comfortable and clean. However the breakfast was underwhelming. For a hotel like this, one expects better. There was no fruit, no toast, and the offered ice cold muffins. Will not be returning to this hotel as there are much better options for this price bracket.

The only complaint i have is that the continental breakfast was lacking. The pictures on the website showed assorted fruits and cereal, as well as pastries. There was only a few yogurts, hard boiled eggs and muffins/ pastries. Also, only a kuerig for coffee. We ended up going out for breakfast. But otherwise was a very lovely comfortable place. And all staff were wonderful.

The “breakfast” was disappointing. All high sugar, high carb junk. Otherwise the hotel is nice. Older, but in good condition. I recommend a full length mirror in the rooms for those of us who need to get dressed for events.

Good ambience and courteous staff. O’Steaks is excellent for seafood lovers. Spa is nice and therapists are great. Breakfast options are limited & would need improvement. Overall a nice and cozy place for those looking for a quiet getaway from the busy city life.

The attention to detail was very nice. My wife and I had an excellent dining experience at the restaurant. Our server,”Bee”, was the most attentive and friendly person that we’ve had in a very long time. She was amazing!! The options for breakfast were on the weak side.

We had a very comfortable stay for a family trip. The beds are extremely comfortable and we enjoyed the included continental breakfast. The staff was very nice and helpful. The pool is very small. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will consider it for future trips!
