Outdated and needs repairs. Room smelled damp and musty. Pool was dirty. Bed was caved in in the middle. Breakfast ran out of a lot of things.

Staff were very friendly and worked hard. Cleanliness was pretty good. The hotel was a little difficult to access, though and not very near restaurants and the pool was very tiny.

The bathroom door would not close and was broken at the bottom. The air conditioning did not work and the room was hot. The back exterior door lock was broken and anybody could walk in. The dog station was totally neglected, no bags in the dispenser and the trashcan was open full and full of flies.

Upon booking for the reservation, we asked for early check-in. We arrive no cars in the parking lot. Try to check in. They said none of the rooms are available as they were all rented out the night before and the cleaning lady showed up late and we were told that it would be 30 minute wait and she wanted to try to charge us $20 check-in fee we wait the 30 minutes come back and get access to the room and we check the cleanliness of the room and it was filthy so we requested cleaning supplies and towels, so we could clean our own room. There is no microwave in the room to heat up our food later that evening we noticed someone bathing in the pool on the property totally unacceptable. Back to the check-in. I asked if they had a different room available so we didn’t have to wait being that we requested an early check-in. She said all the rooms were booked because of the concert that evening, which was a total lie there was three cars in the parking lot and no additional cars after the concert nor the next morning it was like a ghost town not sure that I’d recommend this place as it needs a lot of help.

Short staffed, but everything was great! Will definitely stay here next time. Only thing is the ice machine on 1st floor out if order. Being single woman alone, i didnt feel comfortable going to another floor for ice.

During our 2nd stay the shower was not working 7:30am. Supposedly nobody else complained. There is a truck parking lot and will hear the noises. Some of the ice machines were not working. Place not dirty but it’s a little run down.

This hotel is the must dirty one I have been at for a very long time. A very run down hotel that got some paint without repairing it. The room was so dirty and so was the walkways to the rooms. Air condition was very loud even turned off and smelled. Breakfast was of very low quality. I can not recommend this hotel, not even for free. Disappointing that it got 8,6 rating.

It was horrible, the bathroom was disgusting there was poop in the toilet, there was hair in the beds, the floor was dirty.. never coming back I had to clean my room and put another set of sheets on top on theirs.

Room bed had sheets with blood stains all over. Bath towels were dirty with terrible smell on them. Would not ever recommend this hotel.

Room was dirty , sheets were stained and bath towels were ripped and stained this place is one star above section 8 housing and that’s being kind. Definitely wouldn’t stay here in the future.

Friday when I checked into my room, I pulled back the sheets and there were stains on the sheets. I let front desk know and he was going to send house keeping there to change the sheets. After seeing that I couldn't stay there.

This was the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed at. Mold everywhere. It smelled, bathrooms looked like they have never been cleaned. Bedding was dirty. I brushed my teeth with my own bottled water. Very dissatisfied. Front desk guy was very nice and that’s about it.

Property was not worth over 200 a night. There was no usb plugs, no couch in the room as stated, door latch didn't work. Just somewhere to rest very outdated and cheap. Would not stay again.

The first room we were assigned had bypass closet doors that were off the track and the HVAC would not even come on. The second room had working closet doors and functional HVAC but no hair dryer, though one was provided later. There was a gaping space in the corner of the room where an easy chair should have been, so we borrowed a chair from the dining area so that one of us could use it and the other, the desk chair. There were cobwebs in the corners of the room and mold around the bottom of the tub. Room was minimally stocked with two bath towels, two washcloths, and only one hand hand towel. Breakfast was on the low side of adequate, but no yogurt, only white bread for toast, no decaf coffee, and warmish water in the hot water carafe. There was no attendant assigned to the breakfast area -- only the desk clerk trying to do two jobs. On the positive side, parking was convenient, it was easy to get in and out of the hotel parking lot to a main road, there was plenty of hot water, and the bed was comfortable. This hotel was selected because of the 8.6 'very good' rating, but we felt that the hotel deserved a rating of 6 at best.

Hotel was fine for what and when we needed it. Had to evacuate for Hurricane so we HAD to stay at matter what we found at check-in. Only one clerk at reservation desk - poor guy was swamped but very professional. Room photo on website was NOTHING like to room we were assigned, when we questioned this, we were told ALL the room had the couches removed so we had one (1) chair - a desk chair that was partially broken. The air-conditioner never stopped making noise even when it was in the recycle mode - very noisy all night long. Breakfast buffet was a real joke, one greasy sausage, bread to make toast and some prepackaged honey rolls - yuck! As for the condition of the room - old and not kept up very well. The room was assigned because we were traveling with our cat, so the floors were vinyl that I don't believe had been cleaned in several days. Everything in the room as very run down and well/overused desperately in need of replacement. Not a location I want to ever go back to and would NOT recommend going forward.

Bed was very very uncomfortable, the water dripped in the tub constantly and made it very difficult to sleep. The heater didn't work and the room was very cold at night.

Unless you are desperate or need a place for one night, please save yourself and don’t stay here! The place is extremely outdated and not very clean. The minute you walk through the double doors the musty order hits you almost like a warning to turn around now before it is too late. The actual check in process was smooth. They provided two keys and wifi information even though the wifi itself was a waste of time be sure I had to use it the next day for work and to say to was slow is an understatement. The front desk clerk explained breakfast which honestly is just a spot to get coffee, juice, make your own waffles and prepackaged pastries and that’s it! The room had clean beds and that’s it. The bathroom was not cleaned and very outdated and no toilet paper or sufficient towels. When we contacted the front desk, we had to get things are on our own and don’t forget anything the first time you asked because the front desk clerk was so annoyed when we came back because the room was not properly stocked. In the room there is a laminated signed that claims due to COVID you have no room service and to place your trash out the door. The entire stay no one came to pick up the trash. The room itself was so musty. Basically do yourself a favor and book elsewhere and you’re welcome!

When we arrived the front desk person tried to give us a different room then we paid for. He was truly rude and after we insisted on getting the right room we finally did but all of this wasn’t worth the hassle.

First of all, we got in early and just stopped in to see if they possibly had a room ready. We were told it would be $30 for early check in. We didn’t need the room immediately so we told them we’d be back at 3:00. He proceeded to tell us to come as late as possible because they had a full house the night before and were understaffed. We returned shortly after 3:00 and checked in. When we got to our room, it was hot and stuffy, no towels and an old roll of toilet paper all ripped up. Oh and a huge empty space with no sofa. I tried to use phone to call downstairs and the phone wasn’t working. I called on my cell phone and “manager” came up and said something about changing ownership and the new sofas had to be ordered. So, I’m paying $270 for a room with a king bed. The towel issue: we could solve that one ourselves because housekeeping was in the hallway. My daughter went and asked for towels. The lady handed her one towel (we had 3 people in our room, because we were supposed to have sofa). She said can I please have more and the lady tossed her an oversized hand towel. Unbelievable!!! I then went down to the front desk to complain about the rude housekeeper. Instead of trying to make it right, he said well you have to let us know… well what do you think I’m doing? Then had the nerve to shush us while we were explaining the problem. WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! If I had another option, I would have left (hotels sold out due to Taylor Swift concert).

It is clean, nice breakfast, quiet. Not much to do nearby, but you are only a 15-20 drive from Bush Gardens, 15 to Tampa Aquarium, etc. Its a nice quiet place to stay away from the city prices.

I have stayed at this property several times in the past and really like the location. It has always been fine and often very good. This time, while the check-in was very smooth and friendly, I did not have a good experience. The trucks at the truck stop next door were so noisy at all but a few hours, I did not sleep very much and finally gave up at 5:30 am. The room and bathroom were clean enough but needed to be repaired - water damage and rundown fixtures.

The only plus side I can mention, it was close to the Amalia Arena. Will not recommend this hotel for a few reasons, see my reviews below. The check in was good.

The hotel and staff itself was very good, and we felt safe in the area it was in. Just not many restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Had to go out of our way to get something to eat. Continental Breakfast was Good.

Overall was good. The place has been renovated, no more carpet on the rooms, for us that’s a plus. The beds were not the best but manageable for our 2 night stay. They do not clean your room during your stay if you want change of towels you need to leave them outside in the morning in order for them to have enough at night. breakfast was good for being complementary, waffles for the kids are always a plus. The room smelled like Clorox really bad but everything was cleaned.

The staff was very friendly during check-in process. The room was OK but the bathroom had chipping tile and rust. The air conditioner was VERY noisy and had a strong smell. But the worst thing was the constant lack of food at breakfast. When I asked the male server to add some it took him extremely long to do so and he looked very unpleased.
