Alicia Ubud is a jewel in the jungle with complimentary shuttles 3 times a day into downtown Ubud. Perfect for the traveler wanting an escape in a serene and tropical high end resort. The infinity pool is the best in Bali and the property sits majestically in the middle of the jungle with surrounding rice fields and beautiful vistas. The staff know you by name and the service is attentive and always served with the traditional Bali smile and grace.

Smuk udsigt og rolig beliggenhed. Men servicen var ikke særlig god, personalet var ikke særlig glad eller smilende. Maden var ikke god, de prøvede at lave alle retter med et tvist, men det fungerede ikke. Vi fik det alle dårlig efter frokost i restauranten og min søn kastede op. Og total misforstået underholdning. De satte en dame til at synge opera og Elvis sange! Vil da have skøn balinesiske musik når man er i Ubud. Fitness er i en mørk kælder uden vinduer og gamle maskiner.

This is a beautiful hotel - you’re in the middle of nature and stunning views all around. The infinity pool is really relaxing - definitely take a dip. The restaurant has amazing food - I didn’t try the western cuisine but the Asian cuisine is delicious. I also appreciated that they had free shuttles into town 3 times a day.

Un’oasi di pace e raffinatezza. Il lusso e lo stile nella loro forma più semplice e cordiale. La struttura è bellissima, nella foresta a nord di Ubud alla confluenza di due fiumi. L’infinity pool da cartolina. Personale estremamente cortese e professionale. Cibo eccellente (in particolare al ristorante Plantation) a prezzi molto contenuti. La treetop Villa è molto ampia, comoda, con un bel design e splendida vista sulla giungla dalla terrazza. Ulteriore nota di merito: l’hotel è molto attento alla sostenibilità ambientale e supporta alcune comunità locali.

A great hotel for a few days of quiet and peace. A beautiful property to just relax and spend time by the pool. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Food (although limited options) was good. The hotel is just a little off the main areas in Ubud.

Heel goed ontbijt en diner, zeer goed restaurant, echt mooi gelegen in de natuur. Het zwembad heeft ern mooi uitzicht. Kamers zijn ok. 's Avonds lopen er redelijk wat apen op het domein.

beautiful property. People are friendly. lovely pool. our 303 villa is gorgeous. the recommendation from a lady manager? to restaurant Begawan Biji was unexpectedly enjoyable. We didn't get to see UNESCO rice terrace due to big crowd, so the visit to this restaurant made us feel better..really enjoy our massage experience (love the flower bowl underneath head pc, so can stare at flower, instead of ground). The cocktail is weak (maybe is all southeast asian thing?) & taste ok? food option is limited and service is kinda slow. in all, very good and happy. will recommend to friends

We had a fabulous time in Alila! Our villa on the Ashe of the valley was super. The food was super and the service too. We enjoined the movie by the pool and the afternoon service making our room ready for the night was really great. You do know you are in the jungle as we had a gekko as a house huist. We only saw him once but every night we could hear him. The WiFi and airconditioning was good. The only thing would be that there was only one free outlet to charge our devices in the main cabin.

The hotel is in a great location, surrounded by rice terraces and forest. Away from the main centre of Ubud, so lovely and quiet. I stayed in a room with a balcony - number 508. This hotel was significantly more expensive than everywhere else i stayed during my 3 week trip to Bali. Staff were great and food was also good. I enjoyed the complimentary yoga session. However everything here; the spa, transfers, food, drink was between 30% and 50% more expensive than other hotels, and the quality was not as high as my experience elsewhere. This is supposed to be a 5 star hotel, but my room was really shabby. There were damp patches at the bottom of all the walls and large brown stains all over the mosquito nets. The coffee machine didn't work because the 'pods' were cheap non-branded versions and didn't fit. I was unable to charge any of my electronics as the plug sockets in the room were badly positioned in relation to the (fixed) furniture, so i was forced to continually take them to the reception to charge. There were only two small bottles of water in the room - particularly poor when you can't drink the tap water. I loved my stay at the Udaya - closer to Ubud, lovely rooms, pool and spa - and far better value for money!

Location and style is great. Food is tasty. Bathtub is fantastic. The only drawback is the TV in guest rooms are a bit too small. Also given the climate would be great if dehumidifier can be equipped in each room.

The hotel is in the middle of a jungle and beautiful nature. We loved our stay , our room was clean and no bugs . If you want to relax, catch up in reading, yoga then you are in the right place. The food was delicious!

The resort and staff were excellent, however the rooms are very tired. Our room was so damp we had to ask tor a dehumidifier to try and reduce the dampness. Beautiful location but let down by the quality of the rooms.

I have to agree with someone that wrote that this is not a 5 star hotel unfortunately. Pool area and both restaurants are great. Staff is incredible friendly and helpful and that is what improves the review but the rooms are not up to the standard. Our bathroom roof was leaking after every rain, and the rooms are really small with not even a space to open your suitcase, almost no closet space either.

We were delighted to be upgraded to a villa. On our first day, a group of monkeys visited our balcony. It was a huge Villa, with an open air bath tub and a separate room for shower n toilet. The Villa was spacious and cool. We enjoyed our stay at the villa.

Lovely welcoming staff. We stayed in a one bedroom terrace tree villa. Highly recommend the room. Good free daily shuttle service into Ubud centre. Monkeys are highly entertaining- just keep your distance:)

Staff were AMAZING. they were so friendly, polite and extremely helpful. Will absolutely recommend this gem to anyone who wishes to visit Ubud. Room is very comfortable (we stayed at the TreeTop Villa) and well furnished. Love the nature vibes it encompasses.
Staff were AMAZING. they were so friendly, polite and extremely helpful. Will absolutely recommend this gem to anyone who wishes to visit Ubud. Room is very comfortable (we stayed at the TreeTop Villa) and well furnished. Love the nature vibes it encompasses.

This property and the staff were absolutely phenomenal. I couldn't have wished for a better start to my stay in Bali. I stayed here for 3 nights and had a hill view room with lovely views, granted that I had to be ready to face monkeys as they did come and walk along it, hang off chairs etc. Be mindful to keep food out of sight. The ambience at this hotel is chilled, calm and helps you to immerse in the culture. I loved it and would stay again. The hotel sent me a tray of desserts expressing with a card wishing me well after I sustained an injury on an excursion. Such care. Also the food here was out of this world.

I have to agree with someone that wrote that this is not a 5 star hotel unfortunately. Pool area and both restaurants are great. Staff is incredible friendly and helpful and that is what improves the review but the rooms are not up to the standard. Our bathroom roof was leaking after every rain, and the rooms are really small with not even a space to open your suitcase, almost no closet space either.

We had a fabulous time in Alila! Our villa on the Ashe of the valley was super. The food was super and the service too. We enjoined the movie by the pool and the afternoon service making our room ready for the night was really great. You do know you are in the jungle as we had a gekko as a house huist. We only saw him once but every night we could hear him. The WiFi and airconditioning was good. The only thing would be that there was only one free outlet to charge our devices in the main cabin.

We really enjoyed our stay. They staff was super friendly and helpful. Our airline didn’t get our luggage on our last flight, so we didn’t have our checked bags. The staff at Alila worked hard to help us get updates on our luggage even though it wasn’t their fault. They offer several different activities. They have live music some nights at the resort. Overall it was a fantastic place to stay!

Smuk udsigt og rolig beliggenhed. Men servicen var ikke særlig god, personalet var ikke særlig glad eller smilende. Maden var ikke god, de prøvede at lave alle retter med et tvist, men det fungerede ikke. Vi fik det alle dårlig efter frokost i restauranten og min søn kastede op. Og total misforstået underholdning. De satte en dame til at synge opera og Elvis sange! Vil da have skøn balinesiske musik når man er i Ubud. Fitness er i en mørk kælder uden vinduer og gamle maskiner.

beautiful property. People are friendly. lovely pool. our 303 villa is gorgeous. the recommendation from a lady manager? to restaurant Begawan Biji was unexpectedly enjoyable. We didn't get to see UNESCO rice terrace due to big crowd, so the visit to this restaurant made us feel better..really enjoy our massage experience (love the flower bowl underneath head pc, so can stare at flower, instead of ground). The cocktail is weak (maybe is all southeast asian thing?) & taste ok? food option is limited and service is kinda slow. in all, very good and happy. will recommend to friends

Alicia Ubud is a jewel in the jungle with complimentary shuttles 3 times a day into downtown Ubud. Perfect for the traveler wanting an escape in a serene and tropical high end resort. The infinity pool is the best in Bali and the property sits majestically in the middle of the jungle with surrounding rice fields and beautiful vistas. The staff know you by name and the service is attentive and always served with the traditional Bali smile and grace.

This is a beautiful hotel - you’re in the middle of nature and stunning views all around. The infinity pool is really relaxing - definitely take a dip. The restaurant has amazing food - I didn’t try the western cuisine but the Asian cuisine is delicious. I also appreciated that they had free shuttles into town 3 times a day.

The hotel is in a great location, surrounded by rice terraces and forest. Away from the main centre of Ubud, so lovely and quiet. I stayed in a room with a balcony - number 508. This hotel was significantly more expensive than everywhere else i stayed during my 3 week trip to Bali. Staff were great and food was also good. I enjoyed the complimentary yoga session. However everything here; the spa, transfers, food, drink was between 30% and 50% more expensive than other hotels, and the quality was not as high as my experience elsewhere. This is supposed to be a 5 star hotel, but my room was really shabby. There were damp patches at the bottom of all the walls and large brown stains all over the mosquito nets. The coffee machine didn't work because the 'pods' were cheap non-branded versions and didn't fit. I was unable to charge any of my electronics as the plug sockets in the room were badly positioned in relation to the (fixed) furniture, so i was forced to continually take them to the reception to charge. There were only two small bottles of water in the room - particularly poor when you can't drink the tap water. I loved my stay at the Udaya - closer to Ubud, lovely rooms, pool and spa - and far better value for money!

Heel goed ontbijt en diner, zeer goed restaurant, echt mooi gelegen in de natuur. Het zwembad heeft ern mooi uitzicht. Kamers zijn ok. 's Avonds lopen er redelijk wat apen op het domein.

Located on the steep hills on the outskirts of Ubud, we chose this hotel based solely on its location and the photos we found online. As with any booking made from pictures alone, your imagination inevitably starts to paint a picture of what the hotel and its surroundings might actually be like. The road leading to the hotel is narrow—at times it feels as though there's barely enough room for the taxi to pass. Winding through rice fields and dense jungle, the journey itself builds a sense of anticipation. Eventually, you arrive at the hotel entrance, where a gently sloping driveway leads down to the reception area, offering your first glimpse of what awaits. We arrived late in the evening, making it difficult to fully appreciate the setting at first. Even so, it immediately felt like a hidden jungle retreat, and the atmosphere was simply breathtaking. The pool area, located a short walk down from the reception, is undoubtedly the jewel in the hotel's crown. Located on the steep hills on the outskirts of Ubud, we chose this hotel based solely on its location and the photos we found online. As with any booking made from pictures alone, your imagination inevitably starts to paint a picture of what the hotel and its surroundings might actually be like. The road leading to the hotel is narrow—at times it feels as though there's barely enough room for the taxi to pass. Winding through rice fields and dense jungle, the journey itself builds a sense of anticipation. Eventually, you arrive at the hotel entrance, where a gently sloping driveway leads down to the reception area, offering your first glimpse of what awaits. We arrived late in the evening, making it difficult to fully appreciate the setting at first. Even so, it immediately felt like a hidden jungle retreat, and the atmosphere was simply breathtaking. The pool area, located a short walk down from the reception, is undoubtedly the jewel in the hotel's crown. Beautiful property with excellent service. The monkeys on site were a charming and authentic touch. The views are spectacular. Rooms are Ok, but good value. The location is a little out of way from Ubud city center but worth it to be on such a nice property that reflects the jungle atmosphere of Ubud

Absolutely loved it, was so peaceful, pool was stunning and so was the whole place. Loved the outside shower. Also lots of monkeys running around.
