The stunning sunset and seascape views from the balconies, combined with the ever-present kangaroo’s on the golf course, made our holiday restful and memorable. Being able to hear the waves as they met the shore added to the relaxation level we experienced upon settling in to our spacious suite. Having the restaurant on site, as well as the pool, tennis courts, day spa and golf course, means there’s something for everyone to enjoy. We’re already planning a return sta.

Very nice looking property. Kangaroo come visit the golf course at night very peaceful. Pool is a bit cold and seems like an after thought for getting from top level but it work fine for us.

The rooms are large and clean, and we loved that they had foxtel. The gym is very good, lots of machines and weights. The restaurant was good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only complaint was on the second morning the room above us must had small children as we were woken up with a lot of noise/scraping of chairs. We will be back.

Lots of hair left in the bath tub jacuzzi vent and around bathroom floor. We were all there for a large golf tournament the next day (80 persons but I don’t know how many stayed at the hotel rather than air BnB) and sadly both the restaurant and the bar were closed all day and night before the golf comp so couldn’t get anything including coffee pods. Very noisy from 5am onwards - perhaps workers or keen golfers

Really enjoyed a weekend getaway at Lady Bay Resort. The golf course was pristine and the rooms were lovely and spacious, with a beautiful view. We also enjoyed delicious steaks at the restaurant, cooked perfectly.

Excellent, value for money. By far the nicest rural resorts i have stayed in across SA. Traveling for work and the room was perfect to wind down in from a long day. Even the food from the restaurant was very nice. Look forward to my next visit.

Very nice stay, in excellent spacious room. Great views and enjoyed the use of the bar. We didn’t use the restaurant, but menu looked good.

Our stay here was rather disappointing. I have stayed here previously when they first opened many years ago and thought it was great. But this time I was not impressed. Our check in was easy and quick, staff at the front desk was polite and informative, but that was the best part of our stay. Upon receiving our room key, we arrived to our room and were greeted by cleaners telling us our room was not ready and will be another 15 minutes, we were sent away and told to come back after, we were told to head to the front desk and we would get a drinks voucher for the inconvenience, the front desk did not give us a drink voucher and just said sorry for the wait. When we got into our room we noticed how unclean it was. Cobwebs all over the place, dirty floor (could feel it under feet) the bathroom was not cleaned well at all. The shower floor was full of dirt and grime, the spa was dirty, the spout was wobbly and falling off the wall. No hand soap provided. Balcony tiles were cracked and missing, it was also dirty with old food bits and bird droppings. Bed was old and sagging. Extremely uncomfortable, pillows were flat and lumpy. Had the worst 2 sleeps here. For a resort this experience was completely disappointing. Along with the fact there is no breakfast options and no room service at all. Advertised that they do a breakfast box and in room service, but when we asked they informed us there is no breakfast options or room service available. Will not stay again

Not a place I would book again, room not what I would call clean, bed was comfortable, they had 2 towels in the bathroom that were extremely thin and if you wanted another one you had to pay for it. Neighbours loud lots of running up and down the corridor if you asked for extra tea bags you had to pay

We stayed on the second level, When leaving reception and driving to the carpark it was difficult to see right, then right again around the shrubs. They need trimming. Little mould in the basin and in the shower. Continental breakfast and dinner was great.

Large room with couches, large tv with Foxtel, well equipped kitchen area,separate bedroom, sliding robe and two way bathroom which included a corner spa bath. Room very clean and comfortable bed. Staff very friendly. Lots of kangaroos to sit and watch from the balcony.

The restaurant was so dark and cold we had to use the torch 🔦 on our phone to see the menu and our food to be able to eat. There is a $50 charge to get your room serviced / cleaned, I asked if they expected me to empty the bins and was told yes or pay $50, after complaining that there was no mention of this charge when I booked the room they agreed to empty the bins. I stayed at this hotel over ten years ago and a fire door near our room would not close because it was damaged, the same door still won’t close because it is still damaged.

Had this review been for a stay for 2 people then it would have 4 stars, the location is good, the suite lovely, the bed comfy and on site restaurant pleasant with great staff. HOWEVER, the system allows you to book for 3 adults same room, charging extra for 1 adult on sofa bed. Obviously the room is now less comfortable as you have no lounge left and no sofa to sit on but that’s to be expected. What is NOT expected is how extremely uncomfortable the sofa bed is, the mattress was thin with ridges sticking through. A small child might manage but otherwise it’s horrible. We had to take the sofa cushions and put on floor. There is no one to contact when Reception goes home at 5pm and in the morning the Receptionist, whilst pleasant, was unhelpful. She said sofa bed new and no one had complained before. Would not return the money I’d paid for extra person to use sofa bed as I hadn’t booked direct with hotel. In short would recommend for 2 people only.

Room was good and spacious. Coffee and tea sheets were provided and a pod machine and frother as well, but no pods, they had to be purchased separately. Views overlooking the Golf course were lovely and it was good to watch the many kangaroos.

Not child friendly. Our toddler daughter was able to unlock both the front door and balcony door and there was no way to keep it locked or blocked off. Massive safety issue on the second floor balcony. No key available to manually lock it. No air con in main building or gym. Air con was terrible in room. Had to leave 2 hrs after checkin because it was so hot and the above safety issue.

There were not a lot of options in the area so we chose the Lady Bay. Great views over the beach and golf course and nice and quiet at night. Staff were lovely and bar and restaurant excellent. Sadly the place needs a bit of work and the ducted air con was noisy and blew too much air in the bedroom. There were no insect screens on the sliding doors so made life difficult without the air con. Shower was fantastic. Need a mattress topper on the King beds too.

There were not a lot of options in the area so we chose the Lady Bay. Great views over the beach and golf course and nice and quiet at night. Staff were lovely and bar and restaurant excellent. Sadly the place needs a bit of work and the ducted air con was noisy and blew too much air in the bedroom. There were no insect screens on the sliding doors so made life difficult without the air con. Shower was fantastic. Need a mattress topper on the King beds too.

Very nice property with friendly staff. The room was huge and very comfortable, more like a one bedroom suite. The check in was easy and Peter at the front desk very helpful. We had dinner at the restaurant which was very good. The salad was a meal by itself and very tasty. The curry chicken dish was very good. We found out the chef is from Sri Lanka. The one issue was had was that the hot water took a long, long time to come on. We gave up waiting in the morning. Also, there was no morning breakfast service.

Had this review been for a stay for 2 people then it would have 4 stars, the location is good, the suite lovely, the bed comfy and on site restaurant pleasant with great staff. HOWEVER, the system allows you to book for 3 adults same room, charging extra for 1 adult on sofa bed. Obviously the room is now less comfortable as you have no lounge left and no sofa to sit on but that’s to be expected. What is NOT expected is how extremely uncomfortable the sofa bed is, the mattress was thin with ridges sticking through. A small child might manage but otherwise it’s horrible. We had to take the sofa cushions and put on floor. There is no one to contact when Reception goes home at 5pm and in the morning the Receptionist, whilst pleasant, was unhelpful. She said sofa bed new and no one had complained before. Would not return the money I’d paid for extra person to use sofa bed as I hadn’t booked direct with hotel. In short would recommend for 2 people only.

Peter on reception & all the staff in the restaurant we encountered were very friendly & helpful. Our room was spacious & it was a great view from our 3rd floor balcony overlooking golf course & ocean. We ate the restaurant most night's for convenience but lovely food & reasonably priced.

We stayed in a room which had a smell of sewerage coming from the bathroom which they said was from the drains and we just needed to run water, they then said they would go fix it and put in a disgusting lavender chemical in it which made it 10 times worse than before. The manager was in denial and thought it smelt fine, he ended up moving us rooms as we were not comfortable staying in there at all. There was food under the broken couch which we had to request to be cleaned. We were not compensated in any way at all and we had to move all our own luggage to the new room. We won’t be returning.

great place to stay if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of a beach getaway. Lovely view from the second balcony, fun watching the local wildlife sharing their golf green with the golfers! Nice restaurant with a decent choice on the menu. Town with shops, cafes only a few kms away and is walkable. Only issue was not having a courtesy bus or local taxi for a night out and no such thing as Uber in the area either. If you need a private driver, you need to book well in advance for the 1 person currently operating in the area. Ohterwise, it was a lovely stay and would stay again!

Lots of hair left in the bath tub jacuzzi vent and around bathroom floor. We were all there for a large golf tournament the next day (80 persons but I don’t know how many stayed at the hotel rather than air BnB) and sadly both the restaurant and the bar were closed all day and night before the golf comp so couldn’t get anything including coffee pods. Very noisy from 5am onwards - perhaps workers or keen golfers

Great getaway for the NY. Rooms spacious, neat, modern and clean. Staff friendly, approachable and knowledgeable on local area and facilities. Excellent restaurant/bar and golf course. Only improvement would be how long it took shower to warm up and water pressure very low, but don’t affect a great few days away, we will be back

Convenient location if travelling by car. Nice view and balcony. My daughter loved the pool and playground and the kangaroos. Bar and restaurant on site was good. Meals great. Beers expensive. Towel and cleaning service was extra and pricey, a four night stay, it would have been nice to get clean towels just once.

Really enjoyed a weekend getaway at Lady Bay Resort. The golf course was pristine and the rooms were lovely and spacious, with a beautiful view. We also enjoyed delicious steaks at the restaurant, cooked perfectly.

Our accomodation was huge. We had an apartment overlooking the pool and golf course. Everything worked and it was clean, warm and comfortable. The after hours check in was simple with very clear instructions. We ate at the restaurant as there is nothing else on site, but could have driven into town if we had wanted to. We would most definitely recommend the place and would definitely stay again

The restaurant food and staff were awesome and very friendly and accommodating. The room was good, sliding door had a broken lock and when we reported it to reception they advised that there were several rooms in the complex with the same issue and it was scheduled for maintenance.... thankfully we were on 3rd floor.
