Carpets are extremely dirty. They need major professoonal cleaning. Much broken plaster in halls and stairwells, plus entire interior needs paint. Breakfast only is cereal, milk, juice and some apples. Out of four mornings there was only one banana. The elevator was not working. The bathroom was clean, but only one towel and one very small bar of soap.

No likes. Room smelled horrible of bleach and many customers were complaining at the front desk and very disgruntled. No ice machines were in working order. Tv in room did not work and elevator did not work

Site was busy and booked up due to summer fest. Hotel was run down and not well kept or clean. main elevator was out of order. Stairwells reeked of smoke and marijuana. People were smoking cigarettes and marijuana right outside the main entrance even though it's a non-smoking property. Staff did their best to deal with the situations and aggravated customers. Location was convenient to highway and fast food. Parking was free. Hot water in bathroom sink was great but hot water in shower was weak. One saving grace was that the beds in the room were decent- firm and not warped or worn down. And the A/c worked well.

One of the two worst hotels I’ve ever been in. The picture of the “Front Desk” that’s attached, isn’t there. It’s from some other hotel some place else. The place has odors in the hallways and the odor depends on where and what hallway. The elevator has apparently been out of order for weeks based on other reviews. They charge $50 for early check in and require a $100 damage deposit. Little things, like the mirror over the sink was covered in smears. I cleaned it. It left a yellowish residue on the one washcloth provided. The single cup coffee maker had water in the reservoir already and something floating in the water. I wasn’t going to use it after that but further examination showed the cup for the coffee packet was missing. King size bed had three standard size pillows doubled over on themselves and stuffed into pillowcases folded to look like decoration pillows for a couch. I’m in Milwaukee 2-3 times a year. Headless to say, I’m not coming back to this hotel.

This place is a dump. I checked in and asked for extra towels and the man at the counter got a attitude. 3 cars got broken into in the parking lot. There were cigarette burns in the mattress. I took a shower before checkout and the bathtub did not drain. No continental breakfast. Both ice machines were unplugged. No room service or maintenance. There was no one at the counter when I checked out so I put my hotel key on their desk by the computer.

Do not stay here. The room was completely dirty like it wasn’t cleaned at all. The fridge wasn’t wiped down looks as if something spilled in the freezer. Nothing else was wiped down. The bathtub had cigarette marking along side of it. The bed sheets weren’t even cleaned. I would not recommend staying here at all.

There were holes in the sheets. Blood stains and other stains on the pillows and sheets. Old food on the carpets and furniture. Blood splatter on the ceiling. It advised breakfast, but that was non existent. There was also car air fresheners in the a/c to eliminate odors that was existing in the room from previous guests. Housekeeping appears that nothing is cleaned. The pictures on their website does not look like what the actual experience will be.

The information provided about the property was incorrect, the pictures are misleading, and the information is false. Everything is dirty, the bed had stained and tore sheets. The room did not have towels, when we asked they did not want to provide towels until the next day, the next day we asked for towels and they said their cleaning person had not shown up and they could not provide any. The rooms were filthy, the bathroom and the sink area had grease on the floor, and a bunch of hairs. At night people were opening and closing doors, talking and screaming. It shows they have continental breakfast, which is false information they had cold items cereal, milk, and store muffins, not a continental breakfast. We thought we were overthinking the situation of the hotel, however the first morning we woke up and went out the room, there was people excrement outside on one of the rooms. I have never been in such a filthy hotel like this one.

The place was filthy. Breakfast was only cereal, white toast, coffee and juice. If you got down there early enough to get food. Checked for bed bugs immediately. Scared to shower there. Sink and toilet was dirty as well. If you wanted to get more clean towels you could only do so diring 9am to 4pm. Very bad experience

They do NOT clean these rooms at all!!! Everything was dirty. Urine and blood stains on all the sheets and mattress. Told guy at frint desk and he said theres nothing he can do. Only one large towel and all towels were stained and yellowed. Splattered red liquid on walls, dark brown liquid stains on all lamp shades. Dirt, lint amd human hairs all over the floors, carpet and toilet. Dresser, tv and desks filled with dust. Shower curtain has large brown and yellow satins. Cigarette burn hole on main comforter. Guy at frint desk had major attitude when approached about issue by myself and another person from another room. I was in room 353. Horrible!!! Never again. This place should be condemned

This property is disgustingly, dirty with dingy stained linen, no clean towels and common areas with dirt and debris all around. The hallways were full of marijuana and cigarette smoke. The air wall unit in room was broken and falling apart. The staff gave linen that was stained and with cigarette burns. Only one towel in room and it was stained.

Expedia should NOT include this property. I plan to file complaints with the BBB and health department. I had to switch to a different hotel because this place was so bad. I will be submitting photos of blood on the curtains, the one towel was dirty, I had to sign saying I understood there was ZERO housekeeping during my stay, what appeared to be semen on the bedspread, mold in the bathroom, a sink that didn’t drain, a peeling bathtub with burn marks on it (WTH?), drug deals in the parking lot, what appeared to be urine on the elevator floor, broken window, disgustingly dirty trash can, trash and towels on the lobby floors, leaks in the ceiling, I could go on and on. I wish I had read the reviews before booking this hotel. I had a family emergency and was desperate for a hotel on a Brewers weekend. Had I know how bad this place was, I would have slept in my car in a better part of town.

Dirtiest, unkept room I ever stayed in. From mold around the water line in the toilet bowl, to unwiped down surfaces, poor vacuuming (still cheerios on the floor from previous guest). Burn marks all along the tub. Shiwer faucet didnt work right, had to fight to turn it on/off or find a decent temp. And it didnt drain. Only 2 partial rolls of toilet paper for a 3 day stay. Comforters had large holes on both beds. Spider/cob webs in the corners of the ceiling. Walls throughout the whole hotel were filthy, they looked like they havent been cleaned or painted in 20 years. Over all upkeep of the hotel looked very neglected. Didnt want to use dresser drawers cuz they were filthy. Towel exchange is during certain hours, yet still closed, not available. Heavy drug use/traffic in parking lot. Worst hotel stay Ive ever experienced.

The pictures on web site are old. The place needs a good touch up. Paint and hole in wall. Bathroom was clean but only one towel. Toilet paper on back of toilet because holds missing piece that holds them. Non smoking room requested but smelled smoky.

Night desk attendant was rude. We had 1 towel and 1 pillow in our room. When I asked him for more he argued that I didn't need them. I just needed a towel and a pillow since we were 2 guests. The whole place smells of mildew, stale cigarette smoke, and weed. Elevators are broken. Burn marks all over the bed, floor, furniture, and bathroom. Bleach stains all over carpet. Smoke alarms ripped out of ceilings. Plaster falling out of ceiling/big holes. Old food on floor and against the wall. Continental breakfast is 1 cereal and milk or juice. Cheap and the doors lock. You get what you pay for.

Parking lot has more potholes than craters in mars. The overall cleanliness of hotel is a solid 3/10. Front desk staff on day of check In was extremely rude to a customer on the phone.

The lobby smells strongly of chemicals at all times. The elevator is constantly dirty and the rug on the floor is never vacuumed. Trash pickup is done only if people set their trash outside of their room, which means leaking bags in the hallway and the smell of trash as you walk to your room. The bed was not uncomfortable, but certainly wasn't comfortable. The pillows are very flimsy, and offers zero support. The upstairs neighbors were constantly loud throughout the entire two nights, and the front desk did nothing to assist. And if you need anything at night past 9:00 or 10:00, they closed the front desk and pull down a gate so that you can't even see if anyone's there.

I know that this is an older hotel but it could use some work. The coffee pot didn’t work and we only 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth The bed was comfortable the TV worked and we liked that their was a small fridge

Horrible is an understatement.. I partially blame myself for being cheap and not booking a different hotel.. I would NEVER recommend anyone stay at this “hotel”.. I waited almost 45 minutes in line to check in until the rude guy at the front desk finally called the manager down to help with the customers.. The guest before me checked in and came back down to get a different room because the room that she was given was occupied.. We were only given one wash cloth and one drying towel and was told if we wanted more we needed to exchange our old towels for new towels.. It was a mess.. It seemed more like an extended stay for people and their noisy children because that’s all you heard day and night, children in the hallways yelling and running.. I booked the room from Friday to Sunday and I tried to stay out of the room as much as possible and didn’t even stay my last night.. The bathroom in the room was so nasty including the shower curtains, toilet, and tub.. There was dirty towels in my room.. It was so horrible!!! They need to tear the whole building down and just start from scratch.. I really wish I had something good to say, but there’s absolutely nothing good about that place..

NOrwood requires a $100 deposit upon registering. They will return it in 5 days if there are no problems, but by that time I am far away. I don't think it is right that they require the use $100 of each guest's money for five days when this is not specified during their online reservation process. I'll never stay there again.

There was trash everywhere in the parking lot and on the grounds. The entire facility had an odd odor that permeated everything. It took almost 30 minutes to check in because there was only one person at the counter. We were only given one towel for 2 people, then told we could only exchange a dirty towel the next day. There was mold in the bathroom and water damage. The shower valve didn't work. The phone in the room didn't work. We were told the ice machine was broken. It had clearly been non-functional for a very long period of time. Everyday there were 2 or 3 cars parked in handicap spots with no handicap plates, stickers, or placard. Every morning there were multiple cars parked in such a way it was clear whoever parked the car was either drunk or on drugs. There was trash in the hallways and by the elevator. Every morning, there was a notable amount of new trash in the parking lot. I've stayed at many low cost budget run down hotels. Most of them were at least somewhat clean or had staff that were pleasant but that was not the case here. We should have left and cancelled our stay. In the future, I will not go back.... ever!!

On arrival I had a issue checking in where they couldn’t find my reservation which I made & prepaid online.It took 45min for them to contact Hotels.com to fix the issue & finally give me my room key.The room they gave me was dirty…Sheets was dirty with stains,chips crumbs on the floor & balls of weave hair stuffed in the corner,dirty microwave & outside of the refrigerator as well.Went to notify the manager is he was very rude said they short staffed on housekeeping & he can give me a broom to sweep it up myself…I demanded a refund or another room and was told no more rooms is available & no refund because I paid through Hotels.com.I seen another manager which I was told he left for the day when I asked to speak to him instead of the rude manager.He gave me another room which the ceiling was leaking in the bathroom which the toilet top kept getting wet as well as the bathroom floor…In my arrival another lady was there requesting a refund because she was provided a dirty room as well…This hotel was full of drug uses & prostitutes.U smell nothing but marijuana throughout the hotel & the elevator…management is very rude & have very bad customer service…I will never spend my money at this dump of a hotel again…Highly don’t recommend!!!

If you want horrendous service stay here. I booked a room for that night and then 2 hours later tried to cancel. The front desk person was awfully rude on the phone and hung up on me. The GM would not work with me in cancelling the room even though I just booked it less than 2 hours prior. So stay at your own risk!

We had to be moved into another room, due to it not being clean at all. The mirror was dirty, no towels, no garbage bin, sheets on the bed were all stained and disgusting looking. The only face towel there was brown, and looked disgusting. the refrigerator was broken. I made a complaint and got moved into another room, which was a little bit better than the first one. We still had stains on the sheet and stained towels, but at this point, we figured what the hell. Shout out to the staff though! Very helpful, understanding, and nice.

Probably the worse hotel I have ever seen. Manager was rude upon arrival first thing he said was “I need 5 minutes” made us wait 30 minutes to check in. Got wrong rooms with one bed, and they were so nasty, not clean, stains all over and smelled like smoke in all areas. We took the loss of money and stayed elsewhere it was so bad. They also never mentioned the $100 deposit at booking but made us do it in person for each room! This place needs to be turned into the health department.

The guy at the front desk was not only rude, but talked down to us like we were children. After i complained the key didn't, he reprogrammed it then said it was my fault. Mind you, i just used it to get in the building and he reprogrammed it. The room smelled funny and there was trash left in the fridge. Stay away from this hotel at all costs

The hotel is a bit run down. The front desk person ran out to us & told us we couldnt Park r motorcycle under the canopy area where you would normally pull up to check in. My guy said, are we not supposed to drive here to check-in? And suddenly the front desk person changed their tune and just said, well.You can check in, but then you have to move. You only get one key card to your room. Which will deactivate daily. There will only be one towel and 1 wash RAG. In your room so you might as well ask for extras.When you check in. The front desk elevator was not working, and breakfast was basically cereal and stale pastries. Oh, and another guest had their car stolen while we had stayed there. However, it was probably the most budget friendly.A hotel in the area.

It wasn’t even what the pictures look like it was filthy. We didn’t even get to stay one night. It was in an area that was unclean. I had a paid $290 for a room I was coming in for a funeral and it was really sad that I had to pay extra to get a room at the last minute because there was a Harley Davidson festival state fair festival, which I didn’t know because I out of state and I was in a rush to get a room in this room and this motel Was the worst neighborhood ever ever in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

This property is horrible. I typically don't give reviews, but this place should not be on Expedia as a recommendation with 4 stars. I rely on such apps as Expedia to recommend places according to ratings, however this place is a complete error on ratings. The area is not a safe place. The parking pavement is broken up. There're people sitting in their cars all night. There're people just hanging out in the lobby & out front. The reception area is dirty & dark. There're holes on the walls. The rooms are completely dirty & old. There're stains in the tub & toilet. There were no complimentary shower accessories. We didn't get any towels, AT ALL. I was told towels will be available after noon, but checkout is at 11am. The front desk person found one towel for 3 ppl to shower with & was told I should be understanding of their lack of available towels. The continental breakfast consisted of old cereal in a tupperware container, a loaf of bread, a few random pastries, and horrible coffee from an old machine. You'll also be charged if you want your breakfast back in your room, instead of wanting to sit in their dirty dining area. Just a horrible place. I didn't sleep all night because I felt I needed to keep an eye on my car and the room door since it didn't lock properly. In my opinion, the ratings come from the people who live there and not the guests booking a room. Expedia should remove this location from their website and NOT recommend staying there.

Site was busy and booked up due to summer fest. Hotel was run down and not well kept or clean. main elevator was out of order. Stairwells reeked of smoke and marijuana. People were smoking cigarettes and marijuana right outside the main entrance even though it's a non-smoking property. Staff did their best to deal with the situations and aggravated customers. Location was convenient to highway and fast food. Parking was free. Hot water in bathroom sink was great but hot water in shower was weak. One saving grace was that the beds in the room were decent- firm and not warped or worn down. And the A/c worked well.

Property needs to be updated for sure. Carpet in hallways smells, towels were white BUT brown, non smoking rooms still smelled like smoke, building doors propped open for anyone to come in and out. The list could go on and on, my room looked NOTHING like what was online

Breakfast was almost nonexistent - and if we took any breakfast to our room, we were threatened with a "deduction from our deposit ($100)." Crumbs on the carpet. Desk clerk was either not a people person or having two bad days in a row. No "Do not disturb" sign for the door. Won't stay here again.

The representative was rude and didn’t want me to get a receipt. My room wasn’t clean at all. I had no towels. I asked for towel at the front desk and was told they were out until 9:30am the next day. My bed sheets and trinkets of cut up paper on them and noticeable stains. Most of the staff were personable and courteous. Breakfast was only on weekends. A broken coffee maker in the room that never got replaced. Every time I came down to the lobby for coffee there was only decaf. I notified the front desk clerk and came back 10 minutes later but there still wasn't any regular coffee.

Pictures never show the reality of the place when we pulled up there was a police car looking at things. Then they went into the hotel. There was no washcloths in the room. There is no coffee maker in the room basic necessities. The continental breakfast was toast, cereal, coffee juice, the least amount I’ve ever seen. also looked like people might live there from the area too.

The staff were ok, I did not like that there was a limit of towels. The hallways and dining area were dirty. The elevator smelled like someone defecated in there. The continental breakfast was mainly prepackaged items except for the cereal. I will not book a room there again.

I was enjoy the stay and breakfast varieties are satisfying. Staffs are friendly as well as room was clean and spotless. Nice location !

The stay was terrible. The hotel was filthy. It was dirty, there was nasty papers. All over there was dirt in the cracks of the walls. The bathroom was filthy. The tub was nasty. It did not look like the pictures that are shown on hotels.com. Their deceiving pictures on there. The only thing that was good was the person at the front desk. Other than that, the bed was nasty. There were cigarettes stains in the cushions. In the bed sheets on the comforter in the pillow cases I found dog droppings on the side of the refrigerator It was so disgusting. I would never post this hotel on hotels. dot com. If I was the owner of this app, they should be shut off of hotels.com. For the nastiness, that is in this hotel, and they need to put correct pictures of what the hotel rooms and the outside of that area. Looks like

it was behind filthy , they had roaches, the towels and sheets where filthy , the front desk was no help they didn’t seem to care , it was things all in the hallway they just didn’t seem to care overall , it was horrible 0/10 i wouldn’t recommend to a homeless person

Room was muggy water didn’t work for the tub.. the ceiling had a leak down the middle of the room.. I killed a roach in restroom.. the breakfast was loafs of white bread Frosted Flakes a honeybun or muffin

Super gross . Security at night bc it’s that ghetto. No breakfast besides 4 pieces of bread at 7 am! One towel , was told I had to get more between 10am-4pm. Will not ever stay here again .

The pictures online make this place look like a palace, when in reality it's a DUMP! It was a red flag when first checking in that the floors in the front lobby hadn't been vacuumed in a week. The room, which was non-smoking, had cigarette burn holes in the bed linens, furniture, and walls. The room smelled of smoke and the breakfast was non-existent, consisting of muffins. The ONLY reason I stayed here is because it was last minute and there was no other place to stay. Save yourself some grief... DON'T stay here!
