In general this is a lovely hotel but there are some improvements that could be made to make it better. The room was spacious, modern and kept clean. An old very small fridge on the floor was useful. However I wasn’t a fan of the electric plugs socket directly behind pillows on the bed. Our room was on the first floor above the restaurant and we had to report disturbing muffled music from very early around 5:30am and late at night till after 11:30m, both at times when the restaurant would be closed. This was sorted. The free disabled parking area did not have a marked out bay and in our opinion parking there would be too close to other parked cars. We were initially told we had to pay to park in another marked bay, until we queried this with a different member of staff who said we didn’t have to a pay. Room and communal area carpets would benefit from deep clean. Breakfast was always luke warm to cold. Even after I let staff know this and they acknowledged that the warmers weren’t working properly. The evening menu is limited and doesn’t change. Waiting to be seated for dinner was slow as staff left us and other guests waiting. It’s pitch black outside at night and we weren’t near anywhere else to eat nearby Room and communal area carpets would benefit from deep clean The hotel is opposite the beach so you have a beautiful view for the beach and sea. I recommend you get a sea view room. The staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming.

Magnifique piscine , établissement propre et calme . Agréable petit dejeuner. Surprise que ce soit une douche uniquement dans notre chambre. Je reviendrai probablement avec plaisir

Esplanade team really made our NewQuay experience memorable. From check-in, they had a birthday card waiting for us and a wine voucher. Then, they proceeded to give the kids “a build your stuffed animal” which sent them to cloud 9. Throughout our stay, they went far and beyond to make sure we had a great time. The dinner and breakfast buffet was delicious and everyone was kind, cheerful and helpful. The hotel was kids and pet friendly. The location was just 5 minutes to Pestral beach . The hot tub, Sunna , Arcade and swimming pool were all well maintained. Most importantly, they took their time to work out an adjustment to our booking when we needed a last minute extension. This has been the best birthday weekend experience thanks to them!!! We highly recommend for anyone going to Cornwall. Thank you so much!! Favour C

Had reserved parking right in front of Hotel. Booked a sea view room with balcony which was great and we could watch surfers and paragliders. Hotel really convenient for The Eden Project and The lost Gardens of Heligan, we have visited both.
