The Inn At Gull Lake

We were down in Richland for a wedding over the weekend. The Inn is about the only place nearby to stay. It is an older motel but clean. The owner and staff were very pleasant and friendly. As a former golfer I really enjoyed having my morning coffee out in the patio watching the golfers. We would definitely return and stay here again.

Our first night, a storm caused an electrical outage that lasted 24 hours. The owner and manager visited us regularly with extra water, encouragement and apologies for something that wasn't in their control. This is the reason we stayed. That, and the room itself, which was clean, roomy, comfortable and well-equipped. The only reason I removed one star is the thin walls between rooms. The electric workers who restored power ended up staying in the room next to us. They arrived at 11 p.m. with their 12-pack and beep-beep-beep backup vehicles. They talked about their day until after 1 a.m., which kept us up. Other than that, we were very pleased with the room and gracious staff.

I love this hotel. It’s clean, the staff are always happy and will go the extra mile for their guests!

The staff were exceptional in providing me with a room. I arrived early and wa still permitted to check in. Super friendly staff and the room was awesome.

The room was the most expensive room on our trip. It wasn’t all that nice and very dated.
