Stort og romslig rom med tv. Ingen lås på døren til badet, noe vi savnet. Grei beliggenhet med gåavstand til sentrum og festningen. Litt gammelt og slitt, men hyggelig betjening. Enkel og god frokost. Også god middag på kvelden med dagens rett, salatbar og suppe. Vi var der 3 dager og fikk akkurat samme dagens rett både første og tredje kvelden, så her burde de variert litt mer. Parkeringen utenfor hotellet var ikke gratis, men der var alltid plass. Mye bråk utenfor den ene natta, men alt i alt et greit opphold.

Rommet var litt preg av litt gammel men sengen var god å sove

Supertrevlig personal på ett boende som erbjöd både god middag och fin frukost i trivsam miljö! Det enda negativa var ljud från vägen utanför under natten men annars toppen!

We arrived expecting a smooth check-in. However, when we entered the room we had been assigned, we found that it was already occupied by other guests. This was both embarrassing and very uncomfortable for everyone involved. We immediately returned to the reception to report the issue. What I find particularly difficult to understand is why we were the guests who had to bear the consequences of the hotel's mistake. We were travelling with an overtired toddler who urgently needed to sleep after the journey. At that point, many other guests had not yet checked in, so it is difficult to understand why we were the ones who had to move. We were then transferred to another hotel and were told that it would be an equivalent or even better alternative. Unfortunately, this was far from the case. The room we received was extremely hot, with a temperature of approximately 29°C, making it very uncomfortable, especially for a family travelling with a toddler who needed to rest. In addition, the sofa was covered in several large, unpleasant stains. We expected a professional service and accommodation that matched the quality associated with the Strawberry brand. Instead, we experienced a series of serious failures that resulted in our stay being downgraded rather than improved.
