An excellent property. It is in the midst of conversion so expect some early morning construction noises (I'd suggest avoiding using high RPM rotary tools before 0830) but otherwise a very nice courtyard apartment facility in great area of the city.

Huge space. Clean, central. Friendly staff. Functioning kitchen. Electronics are old but didn’t really use them. There is overall engine or heating sound that is persistent in the background but didn’t bother me too much. Overall I would have my colleagues stay there too. Now the lift was broken for a week,I had to carry my 3 week luggage up to 3rd floor and down. can’t say I liked it.

Wonderful apartment in a great central location! First, two blocks from St Paul’s on the Thames side, yet absolutely country quiet. Apartment is VERY well equipped with stove, fridge, oven, washer dryer, dishwasher and a TV in each room. Could happily stay here for a month or two, and the staff are pleasant and very helpful. Feedback to Native corporate HQ: the high bathtubs are a lawsuit waiting to happen. At least put a stepstool on it the outside of the tub. Second, why is there not a plus in either her bathroom? Had to dry my hair sitting sideways on the bed 8 ft for on a mirror. Back spasm city. Finally, the elevator appears to be permanently out of order. As are a number of other thing like showers and thermostats. Suggest improving the maintenance for a truly outstanding experience.

I booked this property quite a few months ago. I was traveling with my adult son. I am a 68-year-old female. I was very surprised to find that they had put us on the top floor and the elevator was broken and had been for at least 3 months. We had 2 large cases, 2 carry-ons, and 2 backpacks to get up there. This did not impress me. Other than that, the apartment was perfect and the staff are all very friendly.

Good location - right across from St Pauls and walking to most major attractions. The place is under construction and hallways were a bit dirty. We reserved a 2 bedroom, and due to construction, it wasn’t available, but they gave us two rooms instead. Rooms are definitely dated but looks like they are upgrading and renovating. Very happy with the location and tons of space!!

The elevator did not work for our entire week-long stay and we were on the top floor. This meant that cleaning the rooms was difficult, as well as lugging luggage up and down narrow staircases. So my review is colored by this inconvenience (which apparently resulted from a missing part that had to be ordered outside of Britain.) The rooms are very spacious but the living room furniture was quite dirty (clearly no one had picked up a pillow to look at the crumbs inside the couch). The kitchen was well-supplied with crockery and the frig/freezer a good size. The location is great!

Expedia has been great resource for securing accommodation for many trips we've taken. Unfortunately this experience at Native Kings Wardrobe was extremely disappointing. When planning our trip to London we knew we would require car parking facilities and filtered the accommodation search accordingly. Native Kings Wardrobe came up as an option that supposedly had parking at a reasonable daily rate, so we selected that option. Prior to the visit we tried to call the property regarding the location of the parking but could never get through. We also messaged via the app a couple of times, but never received a response. On arrival at the property neither of the staff on the check-in knew where the parking was located. A staff member in the cafe was called who walked us down the street to the parking location and opened the gates so we could enter to park. There were only a small number of parking spots, but we found a vacant one and we then checked in and paid for our stay up front, the staff being fully aware that we were staying for 2 nights and were parked in the car park for the duration. About 10 days after leaving the property we were issued with a parking fine with the reason cited as "no valid parking session". If you are thinking of staying at this property, please be aware that communication with the property is extremely poor and that the parking situation is nothing short of a scam.

Overall the stay was pleasant. However, the shower needs proper plumbing. I had it fixed on day 3 as it went so bad that water overflowed, but days 5 and 6 it repeated again. Also, I hope slippers could be provided even at a cost. They are not something that can easily be bought in the City of London.

Hotel was great. Fantastic location as it’s a short walk to many underground stations. Room was spacious and comfortable. Only downside was the hotel parking I think. We only needed it for one night thankfully as it’s very awkward and small spaces. It’s run by another company which complicated paying for the spot. But otherwise the hotel is great.

We had no hot water for the first three days and they were working on the air conditioning for the first four days. Our keys also did not work for a day while systems were being changed. Staff was always helpful but could definitely have communicated about the problems - we had to complain about the hot water even though they knew about the problem when we checked in. Still, very roomy and clean property. Also enjoy staying here when in London. Great location in the heart of the old City.

The pictures look much better than the property. We got this place thinking it would be a nice place to hang out between events. The living room was very sparsely furnished and the furniture was very uncomfortable. The decor was very sparse and uninviting. However, the kitchen and baths were very clean, neat, and updated. They were 8/10.

This place has definite potential. It is located in a beautiful courtyard right across from St Paul’s Cathedral. Excellent walkable location to restaurants and shops. The apartment itself didn’t feel clean though, the carpets and blinds all had stains, even stains on the towels. The showers needed linescale removal and the common area couches were worn and not clean. Found some small red ant looking bugs in bathroom. the beds seemed cleaned though and were decently comfortable and since we didn’t spend a lot of time at the apartment during the day we just made due for the few nights. That being said though, I wouldn’t make the effort to stay there again unless they did some serious cleaning and upgrading.

We have just returned home from a fabulous two night stay at this hotel. Our apartment lacked natural daylight a little. It did not however affect our stay. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom a good size, lovely white towels, tea coffee and sugar provided and milk in the fridge. It was spotlessly clean. It’s in a good central location but couldn’t hear any outside noise. Check in and out was easy and the staff we did have contact were very pleasant. I would not hesitate to stay again and would certainly recommend it.

Awesome stay at this property. Location was fantastic, Millenium Bridge, South Embankment, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Black Friar Underground, all within 5 minute walk. Apartment was clean, comfortable, well stocked, and just all around a great stay. Thank you Native properties for contributing to our wonderful London visit.

The property location is excellent and the two room flat we rented was spacious. Front desk staff friendly enough. That being said, the space we were in is in need of an update. Walls and carpet were significantly stained, furniture was worn and wonky (nightstand wobbled so much, I thought it would fall apart with too much on it), and in general it was very shabby. The cleanliness was fine, but the worn nature of the entire place was a significant minus. Given that the price was about average for that area, I'd probably just stay elsewhere in the future. There are cheaper places in central London that are just as worn or equivalent places at about the same price or a bit more.

This apartment was very nice. The property had a 24/7 desk available for any issues. It was clean, comfortable. Although we did not cook, the kitchen was very well setup.

This property is absolutely perfect. You enter into a beautiful, quite courtyard. You are a minute away from St Paul's. The rooms are spacious and clean. I will only stay at this location from now on when visiting London! You will love the accommodations!

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment. It was perfect. The bed super comfortable and we slept very well. Very clean. What was best was all the space for the price of a small hotel room, roomy bedroom, excellent bathroom, large sitting/dining room and adequate kitchen with all appliances. A short walk from St Paul’s Cathedral and several tube stations. From St Paul’s station it’s only a 10 minute journey into the centre of London. In an excellent location in a quiet square. We would stay here again

A really good location…with a nice “off street” quite space. Please BEWARE there are renovated and un-renovated apartments at the Kings Waredrobe. The un-renovated apartments are quite old and run down with very basic / poor amenities, including no microwave oven, an ancient TV, and uncomfortable sofa and sitting furniture. The most important thing to be aware of, is that the lift in the older apartment block isn’t functioning, so if you need to carry heavy luggage cases up two - three flights of stairs, I suggest you let them know before you check-in. They don’t tell you when you check in or before you head out towards the apartments. They also don’t help carry your luggage.

The un-renovated apartments are quite old and run down with very basic / poor amenities, including no microwave oven, an ancient TV, and uncomfortable sofa and sitting furniture. The most important thing to be aware of, is that the lift in the older apartment block isn’t functioning, so if you need to carry heavy luggage cases up two - three flights of stairs, I suggest you let them know before you check-in. They don’t tell you when you check in or before you head out towards the apartments. They also don’t help carry your luggage.

This is our second stay at this property. The apartments are large and offer a true home away from home. We especially love the washer/dryer - allows for us to pack less when we can do laundry! When you step out of the property, you are close to several tube stops and the River Thames - so a great location! We did encounter an issue with the toilet not functioning but the issue was addressed promptly. The one caution for those booking this property is to remember it is by St Paul's Cathedral that does have a bell that tolls on the hour, every hour. With windows closed, it isn't too loud, but if windows are open, the bells can be quite loud at night. This is not enough to detour us from staying as it really is a wonderful property and will for sure stay here again!

The room size was excellent. I didn’t use the kitchen but it would’ve been great if I wanted to cook. I did use the laundry and it worked well. Location was very convenient for me and public transport was quite close. The negatives were; it was very loud at night from street noise (people talking), the stairs to get to the room were very narrow which would’ve been difficult with a large or heavy bag, and the shower didn’t drain.

It was lovely to have the oven, hob, fridge and dishwasher to bring home food and such. The bed was very comfortable and we had a closet that fit our clothes with ample hangers!! The only areas of improvement we could suggest would be putting a box of tissues in the room somewhere; including a facecloth to accompany the towels; and putting a small shelf in the shower for washing items, shampoo, etc. Other than those 3 suggestions everything about the room and location was outstanding. There is a lovely cafe/bar downstairs but we did not partake as there were plenty of options in the area but it did offer coffee, pastries and breakfast by the looks of things. King's Wardrobe was right next to St Paul's and it was wonderful to hear the bells in the quarter hour and on Sunday morning at 930am. Two stations within a 5 minute walk made getting around a breeze but the area is very walkable to areas like Shoreditch, Southbank and along the Victoria Embankment. The staff were excellent. We arrived before our room was ready so left our luggage at the hotel while exploring. Upon our return to check in we found our luggage already secure in our room. We definitely look forward to staying here at King's Wardrobe again but are also interested in their other properties around London and the UK.

The location of the apartment was great. Within walking distance to many things with public transportation near by. The apartment was clean and simple. Maybe a few updates are needed… there was a broken tile in the bathroom and the lift was out of order for our entire stay. The bedroom at the street side was quite noisy, traffic and people yelling. But overall, I really enjoyed the stay

This place exceeded my expectations. The apartment was well maintained and managed and fit our needs perfectly! (Family of 4). Fantastic location convenient to two different tube stations, and practically next door to St. Paul's. The staff were all super friendly and helpful as well. There is a restaurant/café attached to the property as well, with good food and coffee. I highly recommend!

We stayed here in 2019 and our return trip was just as nice. All the staff is excellent. Arri in particular helped us with a room mix-up, and was very kind and helpful. Vera also helped to make sure the new room was functioning. The neighborhood is quiet and close to all transportation options. It’s walkable and safe. We love staying here while in London!

Arrived late evening to the property and they double booked my family’s two rooms. We had to scramble to find new rooms in the middle of the night. We paid significantly more for the new rooms and had to take multiple taxis in the middle of the night to the new hotel. All was terribly inconvenient. Don’t really understand how the confusion occurred because I even called them to confirm the number of beds available for our trip. Travel very carefully if you book them via a travel service.

Tucked away on a narrow road, the King’s Wardrobe offers seclusion and privacy while being within walking distance of St. Paul’s, dining options, shopping and transportation. The addition of an on-site restaurant and small shop since our last visit were a welcome surprise. Management and staff members were pleasant, welcoming and accommodating of our needs.

Expedia has been great resource for securing accommodation for many trips we've taken. Unfortunately this experience at Native Kings Wardrobe was extremely disappointing. When planning our trip to London we knew we would require car parking facilities and filtered the accommodation search accordingly. Native Kings Wardrobe came up as an option that supposedly had parking at a reasonable daily rate, so we selected that option. Prior to the visit we tried to call the property regarding the location of the parking but could never get through. We also messaged via the app a couple of times, but never received a response. On arrival at the property neither of the staff on the check-in knew where the parking was located. A staff member in the cafe was called who walked us down the street to the parking location and opened the gates so we could enter to park. There were only a small number of parking spots, but we found a vacant one and we then checked in and paid for our stay up front, the staff being fully aware that we were staying for 2 nights and were parked in the car park for the duration. About 10 days after leaving the property we were issued with a parking fine with the reason cited as "no valid parking session". If you are thinking of staying at this property, please be aware that communication with the property is extremely poor and that the parking situation is nothing short of a scam.

Quiet, clean, and with amenities including a kitchen and washer/dryer in the unit. Convenient location between Blackfriars and St Paul’s made it easy to get anywhere. The reception desk is a bit tricky to find, as it’s in the Counter restaurant and we arrived late at night, after the restaurant was closed. But the door was still open and the desk was staffed.

Hotel was great. Fantastic location as it’s a short walk to many underground stations. Room was spacious and comfortable. Only downside was the hotel parking I think. We spent a great week in London staying at Native Kings Wardrobe. Our 2 bedroom was very spacious, well appointed, nicely remodeled and clean. The hotel is conveniently located to Blackfriar station with lots of dining, shopping and sightseeing in walking distance. Breakfast to go bags in the morning were a great added touch! Amazing location steps from St Paul’s with quiet rooms and very comfortable beds. Was a great spot for our family of four with space that accommodated us well. Coffee in room available and in room laundry was a great convenience.

Loved the space in the apartment, including a full kitchen and washer/dryer. Proximity to local pubs, restaurants, and sights was great — the staff was very helpful, including escorting us directly to our apartment and pre-ordering transportation for our family multiple times.

I was woken up at 445am and 330am on consecutive nights by someone moving a number of heavy items (possibly on wheels - not suitcases!) - inside the building. The receptionist couldn’t explain what had happened. If you are a light sleeper beware of the sound of St Paul’s bells. The beds need power sockets next to them - these are absent which is quite inconvenient.

The front desk arrival was unique as it co located with a cute café. The staff was very helpful and our room was perfect for our group (2 couples and 1 child). The neighborhood was clean and convenient for sightseeing. To top it off we had spectacular view from our room on the top floor!
