A little tired in places, and there was obviously no air conditioning. There weren’t enough plug sockets for the amenities, although USB ports built into the front of the sockets would be a useful addition. The staff were very good, the bar was good, and the food was very good. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay.

We stayed in room 17, which had a 4 poster bed, with Period furniture and modern bathroom. A great breakfast and restaurant along with a snug type bar area. The staff were polite and welcoming with limited car parking (get there early), but in the centre of the old town

Very charming old building, in the heart of medieval town. Wonderful breakfast, I would stay for their dinner next time

Not a criticism because the hotel is 600 years old so limitations in terms of interior build but would be great to have a proper walk in shower in en suite. Not everyone can step into a bath for a shower
