Nice surprise! Clean, well maintained, spacious studio apartment with a lovely backyard and swimming pool. The hosts were wonderful. They made sure we had everything we needed. They even offered to drive us to a restaurant. When we arrived in the neighborhood we thought it was a little run down, but it was very safe and walkable.

Well equipped roomy duplex, with gated onsite parking and lovely patio with swimming pool. Easy drive to main sites in Ostia Antica, and only 15-20 minutes to Rome FCO airport. Hosts were friendly and helpful and checking in was a breeze,

Very peaceful. The hosts are wonderful. Very nicely appointed room, courtyard. and pool. The fridge and kitchen was fully stocked for breakfast. Just a short drive to Fiumicino Airport.

The hosts were were lovely people, they were able to offer a airport transfer, the facilities in the property were fabulous. Breakfast was left in the kithen and fridge for self service. It has a fridge/ freezer, washing machine, cooker. Tea/ coffee facilities. A lovely garden to sit in with swimming pool. A 15-20 min walk to nearest village, it has an archeology site nearby. Metro train nearby also. The local supermarket had minimum supplies. There's a nick- nac shop ( chinese) where you can pick up lots of different things like phone chargers and adapters.the beds at the property were comfortable, x1 double upstairs and x1 sofa bed. Often noisy at night with the local dogs barking.half an hour from FCO airport, 45 mins from rome.

Flavia was a warm, kind and hospitable host who made me feel welcome from the beginning to the end. I thoroughly enjoyed the comfortable bed, nicely laid out bathroom and fully stocked kitchen. Add the pool and patio to the mix, and I can wholeheartedly recommend Gens Mundi as your Rome base. 4.5* to this wonderful B&B. Grazie mille, Flavia!

Perfect hotel to stop over on your way to or from the airport. Really good location, clean, quiet, and very friendly staff. Will use again next time. We are visiting and need to stop over Hotel.

Stayed one night here and it was very lovely. Swimming and sun chair helps to relax after the flight, quite near to the airport too. The apartment was very clean and tidy, had everything you need. The only thing I’d say to the visitors is that put that mosquito repellent (provided in the apartment) as soon as you get there. I spent about 3 minutes with the host whilst he was explaining everything about the apartment and the mosquitoes had already found their way in! Everything else was very pleasant. The couples are very lovely and interesting to talk to. I’d definitely book again when I’m in Rome.

Precisei de um lugar parar dormir perto do aeroporto, pois meu voo era bem cedo no dia seguinte. O proprietário foi super atencioso, me esperou até de madrugada para fazer o check-in. O lugar é super agradável e limpo! E para quem estiver indo pro aeroporto como eu, ele faz o serviço de transfer até lá. Recomendo!

The accommodation was excellent, clean and well appointed room , comfortable bed, daily room care ,excellent breakfast selection and self cooking appliances, the property is beautifully laid out and clean, The owners and staff are wonderful people,friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we just stayed one night before heading to the airport. The room was fantastic. Small kitchen, plenty of space, excellent huge bathroom, pool, and everything was very clean. The wonderful hosts were very friendly and helpful.

We regretted not staying longer! The hosts were so kind and helpful, my children immediately started calling them an aunt and uncle! The place was well designed, beds were comfortable and the setting very relaxing. Highest recommendation possible!

When we arrived, we had to call out for hosts as they were in another room. I didn’t realize bed was on a loft accessed with a ladderish type stairs I wouldn’t want to climb down in the middle of night, so opted for fold out couch. Everything is there that one needs, but basic. Pillows are hard but it turns out so far, all pillows in Italy are hard. Bathroom was very nice. Breakfast was self serve, I think he said, Cereal, packaged pastries, milk, etc.are provided in room. Hosts were great! When we arrived at airport, realized I hadn’t made arrangements for pickup so we took a taxi which cost over 100 euros, no meter used. Franc, (host) charged us 25 euros for same ride. They also recommended place for dinner.

We enjoyed our short stay in Ostia Antica. We had an early flight and Flavia was able to book a taxi that arrived on time at 4:30;am. Excellent breakfast offering of eggs, bacon, bread and lots of pastries. Wish we had been able to partake. Transportation was provided from the train station and around town. This is a shared property with the kitchen, but we never heard the other occupants come in. We will plan to stay longer next time to enjoy this small town. Thank you so much!

Lanfranco stayed up to 2 am to welcome us to his beautiful home. The property is in the lovely Ostia Antica, a Roman city that is better preserved and larger than Pompeii. He made sure everything was perfect for us. He drove us to the ruins, picked us up and took us to the airport. We couldn't have been happier with the service. Plus, the room was clean, quiet and safe. This is what a B&B should be. There was also a pool on the property, but sadly we didn't have much time to spend.

Falvia and her husband are absolutely amazing. They do a great job caring for their property and making you feel at home. Also gave us a ride to the airport and gave great recommendations for food near by. Super helpful and nice people

We stayed at Gens Mundi B&B only on our last day of vacation. We arrived from Roma Termini and took the Metro to Ostia Antica metro station. Lofranco, the host was generous enough to pick us up at the metro station. Both him and his wife very friendly people. Gens Mundi is a very well kept property. Very clean and comfortable, Appreciated the breakfast which was included in the shared kitchen. We stayed in the front unit. The small bungalow has a California feel to it. Lofranco, the host was generous enough to pick us up at the metro station. Both him and his wife very friendly people. Gens Mundi is a very well kept property. Very clean and comfortable, Appreciated the breakfast which was included in the shared kitchen. We stayed in the front unit. The small bungalow has a California feel to it. Hospitality was absolutely the Best! We stayed at the beginning of our trip and again at the end of our trip. Flavia & Lan Franco were amazing. We were picked up at the airport (about 20 mins. away) brought to the property. When it was time to leave, we were taken to the train station. Upon return, again we were picked up at the train station and and upon leaving taken to the airport. These folks went out of their way to accommodate us and our family. We were taken into the local town and given all the highlights of what to do. We had difficulties with our return flight home and almost got cancelled. Not a problem for these folks, they made contingency plans for us to return to the property if needed (luckily we made it home ok). The assurance that we had a place to stay if needed was a big relief. I can't thank Flavia & Lan Franco enough for everything. I would definitely return to this location again when passing through the Rome area. Thank you.

We stayed at Gens Mundi B&B only on our last day of vacation. We arrived from Roma Termini and took the Metro to Ostia Antica metro station. Lofranco, the host was generous enough to pick us up at the metro station. Both him and his wife very friendly people. Gens Mundi is a very well kept property. Very clean and comfortable, Appreciated the breakfast which was included in the shared kitchen. We stayed in the front unit. The small bungalow has a California feel to it. It was a nice place to stay a little bit closer to the airport and the staff (Flavia) was very helpful with everything. The area is not very nice but the house is very nice and clean.

We enjoyed our short stay in Ostia Antica. We had an early flight and Flavia was able to book a taxi that arrived on time at 4:30;am. Excellent breakfast offering of eggs, bacon, bread and lots of pastries. Wish we had been able to partake. Transportation was provided from the train station and around town. This is a shared property with the kitchen, but we never heard the other occupants come in. We will plan to stay longer next time to enjoy this small town. Thank you so much!

LOVED our stay here. The hosts were so kind and welcoming. They made sure we had a seamless check in & made lovely recommendations for dinner. The fridge was stocked with breakfast basics & plenty of snacks. We had quite an early flight out of the airport (10-15 min away) and they arranged a taxi for us. Cannot recommend this place enough!!! Lovely area & amazing hosts. The local cats were a nice bonus :)

Very peaceful. The hosts are wonderful. Very nicely appointed room, courtyard. and pool. The fridge and kitchen was fully stocked for breakfast. Just a short drive to Fiumicino Airport.

The hosts were were lovely people, they were able to offer a airport transfer, the facilities in the property were fabulous. Breakfast was left in the kithen and fridge for self service. It has a fridge/ freezer, washing machine, cooker. Tea/ coffee facilities. A lovely garden to sit in with swimming pool. A 15-20 min walk to nearest village, it has an archeology site nearby. Metro train nearby also. The local supermarket had minimum supplies. There's a nick- nac shop ( chinese) where you can pick up lots of different things like phone chargers and adapters.the beds at the property were comfortable, x1 double upstairs and x1 sofa bed. Often noisy at night with the local dogs barking.half an hour from FCO airport, 45 mins from rome.

Questo b&b è davvero bellissimo! La signora Flavia e suo marito sono stati davvero gentili, la stanza era pulitissima, accogliente e c'era tutto quello che ci serviva per la colazione. The studio was well maintained, secure, safe. The owners (Flavia and Lanfranco) are super nice people and picked us up at the airport when our flight was changed and late. You have use of a pool, a barbeque and there are multiple friendly cats. The refrigerator, micro, stove top, coffee maker all worked and helped us stay fed and prepare for the day. We walked to Antica archeological site. All good.

We had a fantastic stay at Gens Mundi B&B. The hosts Flavia & Franco were very attentive, kind, & communicated very well with us using the Hotels.com message system. Franco was able to pick us up after a cruise from the Civitavecchia Port and bring us to there lovely B&B. The property has a beautiful garden and pool & lounge area for guests complete with an outside shower. They thought of everything for the comfort of their guests and make you feel like part of the family. Franco recommended & made a dinner reservation for us at a local restaurant and we had a fantastic meal there. Franco & Flavia even offered to drive us into town if we needed it. They are both wonderful hosts who have made our stay here exceptional. We highly recommend staying at their B&B if you want a relaxing family friendly place to stay close to FCO Rome airport. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

We had an excellent stay! Very close to the Ostia Antica Ruins which is a must do. The room was very clean and comfortable. It had all the amenities needed including breakfast. The owners were so accommodating and very nice. Highly recommend this property.
