I attend the UN Climate meetings in Bonn each year, and have stayed in Bonn and in small towns on both sides of the Rhein, to the south of the city. All places except one have been satisfactory, but this one stands out as special. The aesthetics are simple but pleasing. My room was spacious, especially the bathroom, though this is a renovation project and all rooms may not all be cut to the same size and shape. Everything worked. Even with a shared inner courtyard where neighboring voices could sometimes be heard, the place was still and quiet. It is a short walk to the regional train stop with good service to Bonn. The town truly features the river, and the meaning of it is present to take-in, not by explanation but by what you can see for yourself and the way people are using it in their lives. I'm sure many have said the breakfast is wonderful. But you need to experience that for yourself. I am reluctant to praise this place as much as it deserves, because I would like to return and hope rooms will be available and at the very reasonable price.

This is a nice little hotel. Perfect spot for those visiting the town and castle! We were treated promptly and we're well taken care of from getting our bags to the room, to dinner and breakfast recommendations and local sites to see!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem gemütlichen Hotel im Herzen von Königswinter. Die Lage ist ideal – nur wenige Gehminuten vom Rhein entfernt und umgeben von vielen guten Restaurants, Cafés und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die außergewöhnliche Gastfreundschaft des Hotelbesitzers. Bereits bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir herzlich empfangen, bekamen ein Glas Wasser angeboten und sogar der Koffer wurde auf das Zimmer getragen. Diese persönliche und aufmerksame Art hat uns sofort das Gefühl gegeben, willkommen zu sein. Das Hotel ist sauber, charmant und bietet eine angenehme Atmosphäre zum Wohlfühlen. Wer eine zentrale Unterkunft mit persönlichem Service sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!
