Hotel Tugasa Castillo de Castellar

Reception is professional but not overly friendly. Signage into the reception area could be improved for sure. However, after that this property offers amazing value for the price! The restaurant food is very good and they carry many traditional tasty options. The wait staff are EXCELLENT! There is also a very sweet little gift shop run by a local artist that is poorly marketed by the hotel. It is worth looking for her. The room was very clean and spacious and offered amazing views of the surrounding area. Highly recommend this place for a unique experience.

This property is an opportunity to stay in a 14th century castle. That being said it’s not going to be spotless maybe not everything works. It is very rural so the staff may be a little sparse. You have to fend for yourself a little make sure to bring food. It’s more fitting for a backpacker or a world traveler. It is quite a hike up to the castle from parking.

Excellent location, beautiful view. Great food, and attentive staff. Parking is a problem.

Drawback: Parking was hard. Had to drop all luggages, go find a parking spot, then walk back to the beginning of the slope where leads to the hill-top entrance. There's only a very few parking at the lower slope.

Great impression, excellent staff, the room was large and spacious, with a spectacular view. It needs some repairs in the bathroom details, but overall, it was a great choice.
