La Puente Inn

This hotel had a false rating of 8. They must be fake! The room was disgusting. Pillows had yellow stains. The two mattress covers had stains, the walls were dirty. The bathroom floors were held by duck tape. The bathroom corner floors had huge dust balls. The tub had stains and hair. We couldn’t shower because the tub was so gross. The check in window was tinted dark so you couldn’t see who you were talking to. They requested a $20 deposit for the key door. Most hotels just tell you to leave the key in the room. DON’T stay here because it’s disgusting. I hope I don’t end up with bedbugs. We arrived late and tired so we couldn’t leave to get another place. We requested a refund later with pictures as proof and the hotel staff told Hotels.com they would NOT refund or anything.

Good place for a quick stay . Had everything needed to get some rest . Nice staff and easy check in . Sketchy area but will stay again

Rooms were dirty. Staff asked for a cash deposit which I didn’t have so I had to go hunt for cash. Overall ok location for what I needed but expected Good according to the ratings and got not so good.

Room was clean and bright but was seriously deficient: No elevator, no clothes hanging rod, no ice, no deadbolt, no security chain, just to start. Based on the parking lot, I'd say no guests either but I think they were walkins. A guess is that the place makes all its money from city funds for housing homeless. Oh, no lobby. All the transactions were done through inch thick heavily tinted plexiglass. I couldn't see who I was talking to. At first I wasn't even sure there was anyone there.
