Gifford House

Our stay at the Gifford House was fine. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. The room in the Annex was clean, comfortable and relatively quiet. (There's always a party downstairs but you are mostly isolated from the noise). One major complaint is that they only have internet TV and their internet signal is inadequate. Could not maintain connection on laptop or TV set. Very frustrating. Coffee offering in the lounge could be improved as well. Otherwise, a fine stay.

Incredible venue, and staff. The place was beautiful and perfect in proximity to events and even doubles as a great night life spot. Tim was the kindest and most welcoming person I've ever met at a hotel. He made sure we were taken care of and made our stay so easy. Cannot speak highly of this place enough. An amazing experience.

The property’s description on your website is inaccurate. The queen room lacked essential storage like a wardrobe or drawers, leaving guests without convenient ways to store their belongings. Moreover, the room we were allocated didn’t match the one featured on the website, which was disappointing. Another issue was the absence of an onsite gym, as advertised. This was a significant drawback for guests who expected to have access to fitness facilities. The shower was another major disappointment. It never reached a hot temperature, and the water pressure was nonexistent. This was a major inconvenience for guests who relied on a hot shower. Additionally, the website failed to inform visitors about the nightly main events held at the property. This led to overcrowding and the activation of fire alarms, which resulted in the involvement of local authorities. While the staff were courteous and professional, the property’s presentation on your website is misleading and does not accurately reflect its true features. It’s clear that the property is unique and caters to a select clientele not suitable for a relaxing experience.

Great place. Friendly staff. Bottom line it is a fun place to be. I highly recommend it!

Room was clean, staff was accommodating and friendly, I will definitely stay there again for future trips!
