The property is in much need of proper maintenance and repair. We choose this property for the pier and pool for the kids. The pier is only half accessible. The part that’s accessible is sketchy at that. The pool furniture is broken and rusted out. Water in pool was dirty and cloudy. Room was conveniently located but in poor shape. Rotted vanity. Toilet leaking on floor. Mildew throughout. This motel is a fish camp at best. Bring your own towels as I wouldn’t recommend using the one provided. The price is very affordable for location but not a clean comfortable place to stay.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was very good. The property is dated but good. My wife said the restroom smelled like urine but I didn't pick it up. Pool was kinda dirty. AC was nice and cold.

I enjoyed the cottage; it was pleasantly spacious. It was well-equipped with a microwave and refrigerator. The bed was comfortable. The swimming pool was clean and the water was warm. However, the pool furniture could benefit from an upgrade, as it is somewhat worn and in need of repair.

The pictures are old on your website. The fishing pier is damaged and did not have electricity so no lights. There is no longer a sink or microwave in kitchenette or even a counter. The picture shows full refrigerator. Just a small fridge with no freezer. No smoke detector. When I walked in the office, they had many containers of bed bug chemical. The people there were very nice. I hope they get there stuff together could be very nice place in very good location.

The bed was real hard. It was clean. The website show a pier and a lite one, but it only goes part of the way down and no light at all. Ac was great, parking was fine. No problems with staff. It was just a one night stay. I drove to the pier at the park to fish. Caught speckled trout’s, that was fun.

BEWARE! The dock they own is very dangerous. No warnings that is dangerous and has collapsed in section. No signs or no warning by the owner when asking about the fishing at it. Also, says pet freindly but thats a joke. Paid $15 extra a day, which was fine. But she wanted to charge me $75 because our dog jumped on the bed with dirty paws, they said it ruined the sheets! It was dirt, not grease or oil, just dirt. they argued and agreed to charge me only$25 like that was a fair price cause THEY WERE GOING TO HAVING TO WASH THE SHEETS! does that mean they don't wash the sheets? All I'm saying you best give the place a good once over to make sure its all good cuz that deposit you put up is a great way for them to make a little extra on you, notice the price list nicely posted as you wait for them to go check before giving your deposit back. I knew its not a 5 star place, its not even a 2 Star place but darn don't screw people out of a deposit over dirt. And be safe dont go on dock!

The lady during check-in was very friendly and nice. The check-in office was very messy and smelled bad. There were bags of what appeared to be dirty laundry stacked inside the check-in area. Someone had put fish in a trash can next to our cottage and the smell was horrible. The bathroom smelled very strong of urine, there was only half roll of toilet tissue, and the mirror was dirty.

It was clean and quiet, but the smell of mildew/mold was strong. There was 2 inches of dust on top of the mini fridge/under the microwave. The window unit needs cleaning desperately. The gentleman at the desk was very nice. We ended up staying another night. Would stay there again, just not in that room.

Very dirty the blanket on the bed was filthy luckily i had my own blanket. Mold in air conditioning vent’s. Moldy shower curtains shower head was in bad shape sprayed water everywhere and needs a new on. Will not stay there again and will not recommend it to anyone this place was so overpriced

I needed a cheap place to lay my head while I got away on a solo fishing trip and this place did the trick. The room wasn't huge or anything but it was clean, comfy and the front desk lady was super nice. She was thrilled when she found out I was a teacher and walked me to my room to get me settled. I would definitely stay here again.

If you are looking for a place to shower and lay your head, then it will fit the bill. Not the nicest place but will work. Best thing was JJ's Cafe for breakfast and Pier 77 for dinner.

Place was nice across from waterfront. That is best point. Overall just not well kept up. Had a couple of dirty towels. Soap and shampoo offered was miniscule. Stayed three days and no room service. In my room, the AC was basically over my head over the bed. Could not use TV. Owner said it was a Smart TV and people kept putting their own info. Won't be back. Won't recommend.

Absolutely terrible! We could not even stay! We left immediately and found a different hotel! No Ac, no frig, no outside lights, and smelled terrible. Very uncomfortable feeling. We were told we would receive a refund and never received it. The room was extremely hot!

The staff were very friendly. I was able to walk to the ocean just across the street and there was a little pier. The fulton mansion was just right next door. It wasn't fancy but it was cozy and the price was right.

The property was great for the location. We only stayed one night, and it was fine for that. There were good dining options in walking distance, and it was a short drive to the beach. It is rated 2 stars, so I did not expect much. It was clean, but could use some repairs. They asked for a $50 cash deposit which I was not expecting, but was supposedly in the fine print. When I checked out, they did not offer it back. After I asked for my deposit, they inspected the room and returned my deposit. I suspect if I had not said anything, they would not have offered.

The property was great for the location. We only stayed one night, and it was fine for that. There were good dining options in walking distance, and it was a short drive to the beach. It is rated 2 stars, so I did not expect much. It was clean, but could use some repairs. They asked for a $50 cash deposit which I was not expecting, but was supposedly in the fine print. I booked online which I made the mistake I thought it was in Port A tried to cancel and they said they would not refund so I drove over to the place to see if I could make it work. It was filthy outside trash every where definitely not a safe environment to have kids or even for an adult The pictures are not real pictures not sure when they staged them but it looks nothing like the pictures the office was trashed and had a horrible smell the lady wouldn’t let me even look in the room had i have got to I would have taken pictures to show what they really look like because the outside was nothing like them. I had to get another room and they still drafted my account Do not I repeat do not rent from this place ever Strange men outside a couple of the places look lived in with the way the outside looked. My daughter and I both got a horrible feeling instantly pulling in the property.

It usually is a very pleasant Stan, but this time we had to leave early due to my daughters illnesses, and we’re not refunded not even one night back after paying for five and only being able to stay for two they were informed and us having to leave and why and still did not want to give up not one night back to me. I paid cash because they couldn’t charge my card then refused to give me a refund of any kind , I would have been happy to come back at different time but not even that Courtesy was extended to me an my family.

This is the definition of simplicity at its finest. I have stayed here 2x times and both times i have been greeted by the most pleasant of women. She was joyous, courteous, and helpful. I was very tired, but her energy made me smile and gave me a perk in my attitude. The room was clean and very neat. If you want a place to sleep, shower, and get your things together, i would recommend this place 100/100 times.

I knew its not a 5 star place, its not even a 2 Star place but darn don't screw people out of a deposit over dirt. And be safe dont go on dock!

BEWARE! The dock they own is very dangerous. No warnings that is dangerous and has collapsed in section. No signs or no warning by the owner when asking about the fishing at it. Also, says pet freindly but thats a joke. Paid $15 extra a day, which was fine. But she wanted to charge me $75 because our dog jumped on the bed with dirty paws, they said it ruined the sheets! It was dirt, not grease or oil, just dirt. they argued and agreed to charge me only$25 like that was a fair price cause THEY WERE GOING TO HAVING TO WASH THE SHEETS! does that mean they don't wash the sheets? All I'm saying you best give the place a good once over to make sure its all good cuz that deposit you put up is a great way for them to make a little extra on you, notice the price list nicely posted as you wait for them to go check before giving your deposit back. The staff were very friendly. I was able to walk to the ocean just across the street and there was a little pier. The fulton mansion was just right next door. It wasn't fancy but it was cozy and the price was right.

The place is in an excellent location. It is quiet and accesible to everything. It just needs renovations. AC works wonders has refrigerator and mico.

When we Visit Rockpory Texas again my Wife/ are for sure making Reservations. Located across the Bay its in a Excellent location. Everything was Great!!!

Place was nice across from waterfront. That is best point. Overall just not well kept up. Had a couple of dirty towels. Soap and shampoo offered was miniscule. Stayed three days and no room service. In my room, the AC was basically over my head over the bed. Could not use TV. Owner said it was a Smart TV and people kept putting their own info. Won't be back. Won't recommend.

The bed was real hard. It was clean. The website show a pier and a lite one, but it only goes part of the way down and no light at all. Ac was great, parking was fine. No problems with staff. It was just a one night stay. I drove to the pier at the park to fish. Caught speckled trout’s, that was fun.

The property was great for the location. We only stayed one night, and it was fine for that. There were good dining options in walking distance, and it was a short drive to the beach. It is rated 2 stars, so I did not expect much. It was clean, but could use some repairs. They asked for a $50 cash deposit which I was not expecting, but was supposedly in the fine print. When I checked out, they did not offer it back. After I asked for my deposit, they inspected the room and returned my deposit. I suspect if I had not said anything, they would not have offered.

If you are looking for a place to shower and lay your head, then it will fit the bill. Not the nicest place but will work. Best thing was JJ's Cafe for breakfast and Pier 77 for dinner.

It’s was my Birthday and wanted to relax,fish,eat good food,family fun. Something different. It was the BEST weekend I’ve had outside of our vacation home EVER! It was clean,quiet and the staff was very helpful. It’s a hard choice on which part I enjoyed the most so will most definitely be returning.Til next time

The place has the dirtiest pillows, shower, bed I’ve ever seen. Roaches took over that place. Owners are very nice but that place was horrible and not to mention I changed $250 for 1 night stay.

Pictures on app is not the same of rooms. Mold on shower curtain mold on bathroom door. Floor was dirty, dust all over. Bathroom knob coming off, Front door knob loose. No maid service. Did not replace towels . Small towels at that. Will not come back!

The place is falling apart despite the owners living onsite. They’re definitely not putting any effort or money in to this place. They’re definitely rooms had odor of smokers. They use towels over the windows instead of shades. Bathroom toilet paper holder was off the wall. The ceiling fan dangled. The grounds are unkept and trash on ground. Needs new owners and a total rehabilitation. Period.

Rooms extremely small and nothing what I expected from the post. Couldn’t even open the bathroom door all the way because it was too close to one of the beds. Plenty of insects in the restroom as well. I will not revisit this place.
