Although the outside of the property isn't so attractive - the inside is quite comfortable and clean. Access was easy and the luggage storage next door was convenient. We were right next to the free shuttle stop and the Sea Life Center and shopping area was within walking distance.

Interior was above our expectations. It would nice to have an office to leave luggage at when arriving by cruise ship before check in time. They have a place down the street, but it is a little sketchy. Pick up for the free shuttle was right outside the door, and many great food and shopping options were within walking distance. Office staff answered quickly and were helpful in helping us plan our trip, set up excursions, and check in a little early. Highly recommend!

Stayed here during the winter months. Very clean and cute. I was worried that it might be loud next to the laundry mat but never heard a thing. I would absolutely stay here again.

The rooms were very nice, clean, and updated. Easy check in and out. The building itself is in need of some updates. Laundromat attached to the building which was convenient for us. Good location- walk to many restaurants and stores and just about a mile to the harbor.

The old saying “Don’t judge a book by its cover” certainly applies here! I was anxious about this stay on our Alaska vacation, just not really sure about the whole room at the laundry mat thing, but we were shocked when we opened the door of the room. Really clean, comfortable bed, great 2 night stay and would highly recommend.

Great place to stay that is within convenient walking distance of downtown Seward. Rooms are clean and well kept with up to date facilities. Staff was kind and accommodating. Located on a quiet part of the street with ample parking and access to outside seating for lounging and taking in the views.

Loved this even before we arrived because the reach out to welcome us for choosing to stay was full of information and recommendations. The room was cozy and comfortable. Loved the sustainable actions, coffee cups, glassware, utensils, etc. made it homey. I had a glass of wine at night on the patio and coffee in the morning! Hope to have another opportunity one day to stay again and I’d stay longer!! Thank you for having us!

Rooms are very cute and somewhat of a modern chic. The bed sheets left us extremely itchy and there were hair entangled in it. Couldn’t get the tv to work and even tho we contacted there “highly responsive number” she never responded and butt dialed me? There was a man that was trying to look into our window and watched my family go inside( not sure if he was another guest or passing by) made the night uncomfortable knowing we are being watched. I love the amount of towels provided. Door will lock sometimes but have to fiddle with it or else it will stay unlocked.

Room was clean overall and the bathroom had plenty of soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Pull out futon was okay, somewhat uncomfortable; flat sheet had a few tiny stains. Room had a box fan and portable heater. Didn’t meet any management. Communication like check in/out was done over text. Building and room codes worked when we arrived. Room included a helpful binder with info about the area. A great budget-friendly place to stay when in Seward.

This property is great, Easy check-in, Clean spacious room, lots of hot water, good water pressure. There was also a binder with lots of information about the area and its history. Also contained local restaurants, coffee shops, and things to do. Etc. Just Excellent

This is a great property! Cute and homey with coffee and tea supplied daily. The only thing I would change are the beds. They are a little worn out and are full size. They really need to be queen size to sleep comfortably for two. Management is attentive to your needs and promptly sees to all your needs. I would recommend this property.

Room was clean. Decorating was very nice. Easy check in. Only issue, they were not good at returning text messages when we needed something. The hours of operation via text were til 9pm. Texted them at 8:15 and never heard back til next day.

The place was very clean and nice, and easy to check in. The problem is that you cannot run the heat and the coffee maker at the same time. I could certainly have worked around this inconvenience, if I had known about it. There was no sign on the counter, only a note about it on the 4th page of the house manual - past the page about a local gym. When I got to the page I did not read further. I got up at 3:00 am, took a shower, and turned on the coffee pot and blew the breaker to the entire place. I texted, but got no response. By 6:00 am it was cold and dark - so with wet hair I left to find some place to get ready for work. I was very disappointed that I was not made aware of this situation.

Although the outside of the property isn't so attractive - the inside is quite comfortable and clean. Access was easy and the luggage storage next door was convenient. We were right next to the free shuttle stop and the Sea Life Center and shopping area was within walking distance.

Interior was above our expectations. It would nice to have an office to leave luggage at when arriving by cruise ship before check in time. They have a place down the street, but it is a little sketchy. Pick up for the free shuttle was right outside the door, and many great food and shopping options were within walking distance. Office staff answered quickly and were helpful in helping us plan our trip, set up excursions, and check in a little early. Highly recommend!

The rooms were very nice, clean, and updated. Easy check in and out. The building itself is in need of some updates. Laundromat attached to the building which was convenient for us. Good location- walk to many restaurants and stores and just about a mile to the harbor.

The location of this property is amazing. Right at the center of the town with an amazing coffee and breakfast place ( Resurrection Coffee House) across the street. The harbour is just a few mins drive ( for a day cruise to the Kenai Fjords NP) and so are all restaurants in the area. The room was clean and had everything we could have possibly needed for our stay. Loved having the Dove body wash and Pantene shampoo and conditioner. They also had Oatmeal sachets and lovely teas. Highly recommend for a comfortable stay in Seward.

Great place to stay that is within convenient walking distance of downtown Seward. Rooms are clean and well kept with up to date facilities. Staff was kind and accommodating. Located on a quiet part of the street with ample parking and access to outside seating for lounging and taking in the views.

Great place to stay in Seward! We loved our stay here. The free shuttle has a stop right on the corner of the property. Very walkable to shopping, restaurants and the aquarium. Room was clean and comfortable!

Clean and up to date room. Coffee and filters provided so we were able to make plenty of coffee, both regular and decaf. Lots of personal touches by owner. Easy to walk to every where in the town.

Loved this even before we arrived because the reach out to welcome us for choosing to stay was full of information and recommendations. The room was cozy and comfortable. Loved the sustainable actions, coffee cups, glassware, utensils, etc. made it homey. I had a glass of wine at night on the patio and coffee in the morning! Hope to have another opportunity one day to stay again and I’d stay longer!! Thank you for having us!

We had a good stay at Trailhead Lodging. The room was exceptionally clean, the comfort was great, and the amenities were overall excellent. The staff was also very helpful and friendly during our arrival.However, guests should be aware of a few electrical issues. First, you cannot run the microwave and a hair dryer at the same time without tripping the breaker. This happened to us, leaving us completely without power until staff arrived to flip it back on. No apology was offered for the mishap, which was disappointing. Additionally, our bedside outlet did not work. They sent an electrician, but it could not be fixed during our stay.These were temporary inconveniences that we lived with by simply using a different outlet for our phones. Aside from the power glitches, it is still a very clean, comfortable, and well-located base camp in Seward.
