We had a room with an excellent sea view and bathroom with shower was excellent. Would give 5 star for the facilities but was unable to obtain wifi in our room during the stay. The food in the bar area was very good and Joseph the bar manager and his staff were very attentive and friendly. The receptionists were also very friendly and courteous particularly the lady on the morning shift. All in all would highly recommend the Seacote Hotel

It was a nice peaceful relaxing stay, the staff where helpful and friendly, any problems or requests where sorted, and loved being right on the dog friendly beach, any locals we met where also friendly and pleasant, i will definitely take the puppys again they also loved it:)

Enjoyed our stay for a very good price. Our standard double room wasn’t huge but looked newly renovated, everything was clean and fresh and the bathroom with walk-in shower was fantastic. Free parking right outside was very helpful. We were visiting family so didn’t have time to try the bar or restaurant. All in all a very good stay.

Place was a step back in time from the outside, but reminiscent of the area. Beautiful surrounding landscape. BedRoom was a surprise, super spacious and comfortable, with a view to the seaside and beyond and facilities like bathroom, was excellent. The restaurant service was brilliant and though the choice of food was limited, but we all agree, it was very Fresh and Delicious..Compliments to the Chef.. Only drawback, was the very, very poor Internet service. Couldn’t do any work on our computers ..I suggest putting up repeaters on all the floors and maybe change internet provider ! Just saying.. Area also had very bad phone signal..

We had a very comfortable stay at the Seacote hotel. Staff couldn’t do enough to make our stay enjoyable! Our two small dogs enjoyed it too! Great place for dogs.

Lovely hotel, reception staff weee very polite & welcoming. Thanks goes to the kind house keeper who supplied items in our room despite it not been on her job list. Breakfast has a good selection of hot and cold options. The only thing we found was the toaster took a while to toast the bread. The staff were again very pleasant and the food was served hot and quickly. There is a nice bar and area, also there is a lovely outside seating tovtake in the view. The only negative niggle was the beautiful views from our room was slightly spoilt because the windows needed cleaning. Otherwise its a great hotel, lovely beach, play area for children, ideal for walkers. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Basically clean and comfortable but when looked at more closely it was obvious there was not a lot of attention to detail. Some mould on tiles at bottom of shower, around window frames dirty when window opened. Beds were comfortable enough but the whole hotel is very dated and in need of serious refurbishment.

The floor above us was noisy and all you could hear was someone walking around till past midnight. Not good when up early to go out Cycling Coast to Coast. Hotel is very tired and had an old musky smell, needs upgrading really..

We stayed in upper floor room overlooking beach cafe. The room was very clean and had plenty supply of towels/toiletries for our stay. The hotel has undertaken some improvements to decor since our last visit and continues. Work needed on the lift to upper floors is currently ongoing. The breakfast items were well stocked and we appreciated the fresh cooked to order cooked options, very tasty. The main attraction for us at this hotel is the superb location right on the Irish Sea offering great views from sea facing rooms. That, and the very warm welcome from all friendly staff, who engage with you, whether at reception, in the bar, breakfast room or restaurant. A very relaxing third stay at this hotel and we will return.

Just come back from a long weekend break apart from our room not been cleaned during our stay I had to ask at reception for clean towels toilet rolls coffee milk amd tea bags we returned to find clean towels dumped on top of our suitcase along with the toilet roll bins hadn't been emptied this was on our 2nd day rooms should at least be checked everyday for bins being emptied and toilet rolls ect Other than this a great stay fantastic views

This is a nice hotel and I have stayed before, I just happened to be in the noisiest room ever right next to the lift and needed to wear ear plugs to sleep. It is a shame as the room was lovely itself

Overall the staff were very helpful and courteous. We had a ground floor room which was large, containg a desk,sofa, TV and chair. The only downside was the lack of a light over the seating area.

The hotel is run down and smells musty throughout. Rooms are dated and in need of renovation although shower was good and recently improved. The bed was awful. Very poor mattress on a hard base. Deep scratch to my calf from the screws that join the two halves of divan. Lovely views from room though .

The room was large and clean with a good rain shower in the bathroom. The hotel itself was dated and we could hear quite a lot of noise from the room above and the adjacent staircase. The staff were friendly and the cooked breakfast was fine.

Delayed on the M6 for 9 hours and finally arrived. Service from first contact was incredible. Rang and told reception we were stuck on the M6 and concerned the room wouldn't be held to be reassured and not too worry. Arrived and gentleman came to the reception after 11.30pm at night to give us our room key with no issues. Room clean and tidy . Refreshments left. Staff in the hotel were polite , had a good banter and the food was delicious. we come here every year for a caravan stay and or long weekends away. Never disappointed.

On arrival was concerned as there was wedding taking place at the hotel, lots of people. We were greeted by Rose on reception who was friendly and informative. We stayed in room 111 which had a wonderful view of the sea and st bees head, I found this to be very impressive, the room was comfortable with heating and tea making facilities. Our room was quiet and we didn't get disturbed by the wedding. We enjoyed the closeness of the beach and walked up at bees head which is a must if you stay here. On arrival was concerned as there was wedding taking place at the hotel, lots of people. We were greeted by Rose on reception who was friendly and informative. We stayed in room 111 which had a wonderful view of the sea and st bees head, I found this to be very impressive, the room was comfortable with heating and tea making facilities. Our room was quiet and we didn't get disturbed by the wedding. We enjoyed the closeness of the beach and walked up at bees head which is a must if you stay here. Overall our stay was wonderful, I unfortunately left behind my chargers, I called Rose who kindly packaged them up and attached a label for them to be sent back to me. Thank you Seacote hotel

Staff were fine and accommodated our later than expected arrival. However when it came to questions and checking out they were on the slow side. Also not clear as the hotel state all rooms include breakfast and yet with hotels.com this is not the case

It was a brilliant stay, despite a request being forgotten about BUT very quickly rectified. The staff where very freindly and polite, couldn't ask for much more from them. The food.....well, at first the prices did look a little steep, BUT the portion sizes and quality quickly changed my mind. There are a couple of areas, not many that could do with a little love. I would most definitely recommend a stay here and i would definitely book to stay again

We stayed in upper floor room overlooking beach cafe. The room was very clean and had plenty supply of towels/toiletries for our stay. The hotel has undertaken some improvements to decor since our last visit and continues. Work needed on the lift to upper floors is currently ongoing. The breakfast items were well stocked and we appreciated the fresh cooked to order cooked options, very tasty. The main attraction for us at this hotel is the superb location right on the Irish Sea offering great views from sea facing rooms. That, and the very warm welcome from all friendly staff, who engage with you, whether at reception, in the bar, breakfast room or restaurant. A very relaxing third stay at this hotel and we will return.

Something doesn't sit right with staff sitting away from the check-in desk and letting you stand there until they are ready to see what you want. The kettle put more water on the table than in the cup. Other than that, nice sea view, and very quiet.

We always stay at st bees. Seacoate hotel is a well managed and great hotel. Staff are pleasant and cheerful. Joe and Andy especially make you feel welcome . Exceptional food as always. No complaints whatsoever and already arranging another stay. Hotel is 5 mins walk from the beach which is stunning.

We had a room with an excellent sea view and bathroom with shower was excellent. Would give 5 star for the facilities but was unable to obtain wifi in our room during the stay. The food in the bar area was very good and Joseph the bar manager and his staff were very attentive and friendly. The receptionists were also very friendly and courteous particularly the lady on the morning shift. All in all would highly recommend the Seacote Hotel

Fantastic position. Stunning scenary. Very Friendly staff. Had a meal of steak and ale pie sat in the bar. Best steak pie ever had compliments to the chef so much steak. Bar staff very helpful and informative.Will be back very enjoyable.

Stopped here for the night, before the start of the Northern Traverse. The room was very clean, tidy, and the bed was comfy. I paid £20 for breakfast which I thought was very expensive, and the choice for vegetarians was very limited

Clean double room with a spacious bathroom, housekeeping service every day. Great bar and restaurant with good food, including breakfast. Slight negative, there was an event in the bar Sunday night which meant dinner service finished early at 1930 - we weren't notified beforehand, which meant we had to go elsewhere for a meal.

Lovely warm welcome, hotel needing a bit of a spruce up in some communal areas. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Hotel bar/restaurant very busy and sadly we were unable to book an evening meal.

The room was larger than I expected and the facilities in the room were excellent. The bathroom is large and airy with a double shower. The towels were changed every day and the room cleaned thoroughly every day. Unfortunately the mattress was not great, too soft and lumpy. The breakfast is excellent but the sausages need to be browned off more. The staff are excellent. Parking is available free and a voucher obtained from reception. All in all a great stay 4/5* We wouldn't hesitate to book again.
