Prachtig luxe complex. Mooie uitvalsbasis voor Monteverde. Geen zwembad, maar dat heb ik niet gemist. Je kan ook lekker even in de gezamenlijke ruimte gaan zitten voor een spelletje, en koffie pakken.

What an amazing stay! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The grounds were stunning and well kept. The views of Arenal were a highlight! And the breakfast was amazing, from the foot, to the service, to the vibe! The gallo pinto was actually our favorite throughout our whole multi-city trip!! We absolutely loved our stay and would most definitely go back again!

The location is pretty good and the grounds have a beautiful garden. Breakfast was good with unlimited coffee (other places in Costa Rica provide seconds only on demand). They also have a bird feeder plank right next to the breakfast space, so we got a songbird show every morning. Staff was super-friendly, and cleaners did their best keeping the room clean. We got one of the more run-down rooms, looked somewhat worse than in the pictures. The climate being super-humid and not very hot, the room felt musty. There was AC which we thought might help dry the air out, but its air coming out of it was musty as well. Lastly, most of the time the hot water in the shower was not quite hot. Fortunately the weather was very mild (and rainy much of the time!), so we could just keep windows open at night and it was fine. To their credit, they recalculated the price downward on their own, because apparently we were charged the rate of a higher-class room.
