Apart from the endless wonderous landscapes, some that showcase Cedar trees of of 1000 years old. Bcharre is the home of Khalil Gibran, the Lebanese-American writer, poet, visual artist and philosopher. His home is only a 5 minute walk away from the View lodge and his famous museum is located 2 minutes by car away from the hostel. Another attraction to see is the famous Kadisha Grotto Extending around 500m into the mountain, this small grotto contains some impressive limestone formations.
