This is an oasis in the middle of Sarlat. The hotel is gorgeous with beautiful decor and very historic. We loved learning about the building. The personnel were so lovely. They were extremely welcoming and helpful. In particular, Katiya was so nice. Her breakfast spread was so generous and I loved speaking French with her! She even helped me with a laundry issue :) Natalie who checked us out was so helpful. She told us about a Chateau only 20 minutes away that we had almost missed! We were so grateful for her guidance. She even brought our bags down to the car! A couple of clarifications: there is no elevator so pack wisely! We brought a small bag so that we wouldn’t have too much trouble up the stairs. Also, the parking garage is only a 5 minute walk from the hotel but you need to call and ask where’s the best place to drop your bags before parking. The hotel is in the middle of the pedestrian street so no cars are allowed but it’s only a 5 minute walk to the enclosed and very safe parking garage. This was not a big issue for us. The hotel has such comfortable rooms and linens! We had a very comfortable stay and lots of options for restaurants, coffee and dessert very near by. Can’t wait to go back!

Excelente opción para Sarlat , que es un bello pueblo y con mucha clase. La ubicación inmejorable, plena en casco antiguo y desde la llegada de distingue por su clase, refinación y charming. El servicio es impecable y los múltiples detalles del entorno y la habitación misma, le potencian aún más, que por cierto están todas personalizadas ( personajes tematizadis)). Tiene estacionamiento que si bien es con cobro, dan también la opción de un parking gratuito a tan solo unos 4 minutos caminando. Se respira un ambiente en el hotel de un real nivel de “Htl Boutique de Selección”. Además de estar en rl corazón del área, que es divina y repleta de lugares Ivón Uvi: Beynac et Catzenac, Roque Gageac, Domme , a menos de 15 minutos o Rocamadour m, y otros más a distancia muy accesible, y que es de todos ellos , lugar ideal para tomar como base, pues el pueblo tiene las comodidades y servicios de un gran lugar para pernoctar las 2 o 3 noches por que se opte en la zona. Totalmente recomendable

Nous avons été séduits par cet hôtel à tous les niveaux : beauté du bâtiment, chaleur de l'accueil, charme de la chambre, richesse des équipements (piscine chauffée, garage,...). Un seul regret : n'y avoir passé qu'une nuit.

Impossible d'arriver en voiture devant l'hôtel. Il faut porter les valises: 70 m à l'arrivée et 200 m au départ. Le SPA de la baignoire dans la chambre ne fonctionne pas du tout. Aucune sécurité incendie . S'il y avait eu un incendie, nous aurons grillé sur place. Cet hôtel ne peut avoir l'attribution 4 étoiles et doit être déclassé!

We couldn't have asked for more accommodating service. My husband has some mobility issues and we were given an upgraded room on a lower floor at no additional charge. The room was classically furnished with a modern bath and a fabulous rain shower. The hotel is centrally located and surrounded by many shops and restaurants. It was challenging to find nearby parking on Saturday market day as the abutting street is closed to traffic, but the staff gave detailed info on the options. Highly recommend!

Charming and very comfortable place to stay. Very friendly and helpful staff - my wife is coeliac and they ensured there were options for her at breakfast. The breakfast itself was very good quality. Strawberries and biscuits in the room on arrival were a nice touch. Parking was arranged with the hotel before arrival and worked well in the covered car park which was only around 5 Minute walk. The hotel is in the centre of Sarlat and the square is literally just around the corner. Overall a fantastic stay and we will not hesitate to stay again.

A former 15th century residence, Le Petit Manoir is long on charm but if you're not good with stairs, be sure to book a ground-level room. Our room, The Colette, was reachable only by a spiral staircase that is not for the faint-hearted. The ceiling beams were charming but head-bumping hazards if you're tall. We were traveling without a car and the staff was helpful in booking us taxis (a car would have been handy but we're getting too old to drive in France). Breakfast had lots a variety and great baked goods. The location can't be beat, and I'd imagine in the summer it would be quiet oasis mere footsteps from where the action is. We would recommend this hotel to friends who like historic properties.

Belle piscine dont nous n’avons pas profité en raison de la météo d’octobre, mais qui doit être très agréable en été. À noter que l’établissement a un très bel escalier, sans doute inapproprié à des personnes à mobilité réduite. Enfin, et c’est important, notre literie était parfaite : matelas, oreillers et couette, tout était d’un grand confort. En conclusion, le luxe sans ostentation.

Beautiful hotel at the very center of beautiful Sarlat. The room was beautiful and the staff members and service was great. We had a really great time and we would love to visit again. There is so much to do and see in the area.

Beautiful hotel at the very center of beautiful Sarlat. The room was beautiful and the staff members and service was great. We had a really great time and we would love to visit again. There is so much to do and see in the area.

This is an oasis in the middle of Sarlat. The hotel is gorgeous with beautiful decor and very historic. We loved learning about the building. The personnel were so lovely. They were extremely welcoming and helpful. In particular, Katiya was so nice. Her breakfast spread was so generous and I loved speaking French with her! She even helped me with a laundry issue :) Natalie who checked us out was so helpful. She told us about a Chateau only 20 minutes away that we had almost missed! We were so grateful for her guidance. She even brought our bags down to the car! A couple of clarifications: there is no elevator so pack wisely! We brought a small bag so that we wouldn’t have too much trouble up the stairs. Also, the parking garage is only a 5 minute walk from the hotel but you need to call and ask where’s the best place to drop your bags before parking. The hotel is in the middle of the pedestrian street so no cars are allowed but it’s only a 5 minute walk to the enclosed and very safe parking garage. This was not a big issue for us. The hotel has such comfortable rooms and linens! We had a very comfortable stay and lots of options for restaurants, coffee and dessert very near by. Can’t wait to go back!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel,the staff were very friendly especially Eric who was in charge of the breakfast which was very good, it’s in a great location and is in walking distance of shopping areas and some very good restaurants which were recommended by the hotel, there’s a very atmospheric square where we enjoyed a drink after dinner and listened to some live music

We couldn't have asked for more accommodating service. My husband has some mobility issues and we were given an upgraded room on a lower floor at no additional charge. The room was classically furnished with a modern bath and a fabulous rain shower. The hotel is centrally located and surrounded by many shops and restaurants. It was challenging to find nearby parking on Saturday market day as the abutting street is closed to traffic, but the staff gave detailed info on the options. Highly recommend!

Charming and very comfortable place to stay. Very friendly and helpful staff - my wife is coeliac and they ensured there were options for her at breakfast. The breakfast itself was very good quality. Strawberries and biscuits in the room on arrival were a nice touch. Parking was arranged with the hotel before arrival and worked well in the covered car park which was only around 5 Minute walk. The hotel is in the centre of Sarlat and the square is literally just around the corner. Overall a fantastic stay and we will not hesitate to stay again.

Grand merci à Cécile, Valerie et David de la réception qui ont été très prévenants. L’hôtel est au cœur de Sarlat, donc très bien situé. Belle piscine dont nous n’avons pas profité en raison de la météo d’octobre, mais qui doit être très agréable en été. À noter que l’établissement a un très bel escalier, sans doute inapproprié à des personnes à mobilité réduite. Enfin, et c’est important, notre literie était parfaite : matelas, oreillers et couette, tout était d’un grand confort. En conclusion, le luxe sans ostentation.

Excelente opción para Sarlat , que es un bello pueblo y con mucha clase. La ubicación inmejorable, plena en casco antiguo y desde la llegada de distingue por su clase, refinación y charming. El servicio es impecable y los múltiples detalles del entorno y la habitación misma, le potencian aún más, que por cierto están todas personalizadas ( personajes tematizadis)). Tiene estacionamiento que si bien es con cobro, dan también la opción de un parking gratuito a tan solo unos 4 minutos caminando. Se respira un ambiente en el hotel de un real nivel de “Htl Boutique de Selección”. Además de estar en rl corazón del área, que es divina y repleta de lugares Ivón Uvi: Beynac et Catzenac, Roque Gageac, Domme , a menos de 15 minutos o Rocamadour m, y otros más a distancia muy accesible, y que es de todos ellos , lugar ideal para tomar como base, pues el pueblo tiene las comodidades y servicios de un gran lugar para pernoctar las 2 o 3 noches por que se opte en la zona. Totalmente recomendable

A former 15th century residence, Le Petit Manoir is long on charm but if you're not good with stairs, be sure to book a ground-level room. Our room, The Colette, was reachable only by a spiral staircase that is not for the faint-hearted. The ceiling beams were charming but head-bumping hazards if you're tall. We were traveling without a car and the staff was helpful in booking us taxis (a car would have been handy but we're getting too old to drive in France). Breakfast had lots a variety and great baked goods. The location can't be beat, and I'd imagine in the summer it would be quiet oasis mere footsteps from where the action is. We would recommend this hotel to friends who like historic properties.

Honestly couldn’t ask for a better stay. The level of service was top notch… feels like you’re at a B&B, but with the freedom of a hotel. Situated perfectly in Sarlat… the bathrooms are super modern, while maintaining old world elegance in the rest of the room. Breakfast was that of a large hotel… The plunge pool is awesome for a break from the heat… I could go on, but you get the picture.

We spent 4 nights at the lovely Petit Manoir in the Josephine Baker room. The facilities were great, large bedroom and bath, lots of storage room for clothes, location couldn’t be beat, and historic ambiance was everywhere. For disabled or elderly, I would not recommend it bc you have to walk up a large wooden spiral staircase (yes there is a railing, but a bit tricky for those whose balance is a little off). The breakfast was served daily in the downstairs dining room or by the pool (your preference) and it was delicious and came with the room. There is a small pool in the courtyard, but only large enough for 4 lounge chairs. We had a very early departure and the office arranged for a taxi to pick us up for the train station. Carrying luggage up and down that staircase was a bit tricky. I liked the location of the hotel in that you were in the center of town, yet you heard very little noise from the crowded streets. The staff was super friendly and helped us with whatever we needed. Highly recommended!
We spent 4 nights at the lovely Petit Manoir in the Josephine Baker room. The facilities were great, large bedroom and bath, lots of storage room for clothes, location couldn’t be beat, and historic ambiance was everywhere. For disabled or elderly, I would not recommend it bc you have to walk up a large wooden spiral staircase (yes there is a railing, but a bit tricky for those whose balance is a little off). absolutely stunning hotel in the heart of Sarlat. beautiful room with a huge comfy bed and in our case a large private balcony. The outside pool while small was lovely to return to for a refreshing dip after a days exploring. Very nice buffet breakfast of both hot and cold food. The staff were wonderful and could not do enough to help. A big thank you to Julien for his lovely welcome. we shall return!
